But I can see why you're very sold on Star as Minior! They're both round celestial creatures after all, and they look very similar too! And I like your idea of giving Minior an evolution for Minior Star, kinda reminds me of how lore-wise Diancie is actually a mutated/evolved(?) Carbink (Idk the exact relations between Diancie and Carbink but they are related apparently)! So like, Minior Star could be a Mythical Pokémon with relations to the ordinary Minior.
The Phione and Manaphy connection for Star and Jirachi is also a really good idea too!
(This whole brainstorming for Pokémon!Star feels awfully like a 0.2 version of Wish's development on Star lmaooo)
Tonight was a Pokémon au Asha kind of night- so here’s the outfit design I put together after a few attempts, and I threw in my doodles of Minior Star and autumn Skiddo Valentino for fun <3
Anyway- Pokémon au Wish. Target audience? Me. This has been plaguing my thoughts alongside A Wish Worth Making (which I have begun to actually plan out now)

Chipping away at stuff slowly but surely- so much I want to draw and write, but so little time-
I wanted to play around with my Asha’s dress design a bit more, and since I love a character’s outfit changing throughout the story I started putting some concepts together.
First one was a more royal/formal dress for her to wear as the princess of Rosas, and for when she’s still in favor of Magnifico and Amaya. For the second one, I then wanted to return to designing my own spin on her canon dress. It’s something casual and comfy that she wears outside of her royal duties and especially when she goes to visit her Saba.
The tweaks I made were mostly in hopes to make it look like the second dress could then turn into the third dress- which Najm magics up for her when they team up.
I’d like to make a fourth and final dress that would be her “ending dress”- but I’d like to play around with Najm’s outfit a bit more first since I want their outfits to share certain details and look like they go together.
Small details I was thinking about when designing? The bell Asha wears on her belt- I like to think it was one of the old bell’s that Valentino’s mom wore and she just took one because she’s sentimental <3 Her third dress has a few extra bells on it because Najm jingles when they talk and move, and I like the idea that Asha also has a jingle of her own. I just think it’s cute.

#i was just randomly listening shuffle on Spotify with a musical theatre in it#then i get to listen My Goodbye or Warrior of the Mind I think???#and i thought wow this is a banger#wait... is this about greek myth??? cool#and i didn't think about it too much but everytime i play shuffle on Spotify I keep hearing these songs again and again#and i didn't mind. theyre a banger after all#so i checked out the artists of the songs#then listened to the other songs (only the troy and cyclops albums were up yet)#and loved them#THEN I saw the animatics#and I loved them even more cuz WOW#the art we got from this conceptual musical alone is sooo#and you can feel the passion of the artists in these!!!#i salute mr Jalapeño#cuz dayumm the passion and the creativity this guy have + the whole crew!!#wow its so inspiring#ryl reblogs#epic the musical
