Hey. Guy who left the MCYT fandom a bit less than a year ago.

Respectfully, what the fuck? Why is poppytwt everywhere now? Some people are 18 now, that’s cool, that doesn’t mean you can immediately disrespect their boundaries?? “waiting until they’re 18″. Is literal fucking grooming behaviour and you need to get serious help. “Back in my day”, if you were poppytwt, people would actually call you out and you had to stay out of sight in your little pathetic communities of pedophiles. While I don’t condone even that, at least nobody could see your disgusting bullshit. Though you proliferated on ao3, eventually making me leave the site - I couldn’t deal with their shitty moderation. I’m pro free speech, but when you write fanfictions about real life 16 year olds being raped by their real life 22 year old friends and then murdered that’s where I draw the line. Forgive me for my “abliesm”, but you are psychopaths. Get help.

Minors in poppytwt, you are going down a dark path. I implore you to think about who you’re engaging with. You are not wrong for being sexually attracted to someone of your own age, and your fantasies do not make you a bad person. But the community that enables you for doing that will groom you. They will hurt you, and they might traumatize you for life. “I’m already traumatized” exactly, and these trauma responses are very unhealthy and will just lead to more trauma. Even if you can’t afford therapy or your parents don’t let you go, please try to talk to someone at least. There are support groups online, or free online therapists, or AI chatbots that you can vent to. Again, your fantasies don’t make you a bad person as long as you wouldn’t do them in real life. Instead of posting them online, perhaps you could write them down in a journal.

I hate that no one talks about just how distressing memory loss from adhd actually is. I always see memes that are like “haha I forgot my phone, I don’t remember where my laptop is, etc”, but no one seems to talk about how it can really fuck you up long term to just, not remember things that are completely mundane to non-adhd’ers. The memory loss is, however, so frustrating to us. I cannot physically count how many meltdowns I have had over the sheer mental frustration and torture of not being able to remember seemingly simple things

#I've had to reset every single passcode for all my socials cause I keep forgetting and I have a moment of mini panic every single time
