"And a happy birthday to me." He mumbles to himself, a small almost awkward chuckle escaping his lips.
He was alone on this day yet again, though this was the first time in years since he had joined Gorillaz. Perhaps he could drop by Stu-Pot's house, just to feel less lonely... But then again, 2D did seem a lot happier on his own. And only God knows where the fuck Murdoc was, if he actually had a heart to care that it was his band mate's birthday.
Russel clicks his tongue against the roof of his mouth, eyeing the chocolaty goodness in front of him, before finally grabbing a slice and taking a small bite. A noise of pleasure rumbled through his throat as the brown substance dissolved on his tongue. So he took another. And another.
Though no matter how many bites he took, or how many tiny tears fell down from his eyes, the drummer still tried to fool himself into thinking he was better off alone.
