I’m back!

Eh, life happened. But I’m gonna try to get this blog active again. Be sure to follow for gaming news, gifs, pictures and everything in-between, and I need some gaming blogs to follow back as well so sound off!

Rest in peace Loot Cave, dear friend.

Today is the day we’ve dreaded for the last few weeks. Today is the day Bungie has patched our cave. 

I personally understand why they did it. But it upsets me that they would address this, and not address the way that engram drops happen. Its not as if we want to be shooting blindly into a cave for hours at a time. I would much rather be going and doing strikes with my friends, and missions and all that…. 

but if I’m going to get a green engram for defeating a Major or Ultra, and I’m going to get a purple drop from a level 3 thrall… why bother? I need the drops so i can even attempt to do a Raid, and if you’re going to take away the best way to do that, why not even out the drops? And I know in their statement they said they would reward for completing activities.. but what does that mean? I'm going to have to work for hours to get two engrams? why not give our vendors a limited amount of nice guns or armor? why not make it possible to buy upgrade equipment? We have enough glimmer. I just wish they would have addressed more than just basically wagging their finger in our face personally.

Heres bungies official statement: 

"The social experience of a cave farming run is amazing: the herding to get a team of Guardians all behind the line and firing in the right direction, the rush to grab the loot, the scramble when the panic wave starts, the beckoning glow from inside the cave. The speed at which the community organized around this activity was inspiring and humbling to us.

But shooting at a black hole for hours on end isn’t our dream for how Destiny is played. Our hope is that social engagement in public spaces is only one part of the Destiny experience. Expect changes soon which decrease the efficiency of cave farming and correspondingly increase engram drops from completing activities.”

Hey tumblr, theres another one of these!

Hey there, just wanted to get the word out that I’ve finally broke down and created a gaming tumblr account. Twitter just doesn’t give me enough space for words anymore. 

Here, I will try to keep big gaming news, and my own reviews and opinions. I will also be reblogging and following anything blog game related so I can have some nice pretty things on here before I start making things of my own. (Which I plan to do if this blog gets popular!)

As of now, It’s going to be pretty laid back until I figure out if this is even gonna go anywhere. Feel free to message me anon or not about anything you can think of! (Well, maybe not anything, just anything….game related.) yeah, lets go with that.
