Somebody told me that he really likes The Who. I asked him what his favorite song was, his answer was Pinball Wizard. I then asked him that are there any other songs that he liked. Ironically enough, it was the only song he knew. And that REALLY annoyed me.

I don’t know if I’ve ever told this story on here but I will again if I already have. Once at school I wore a John Lennon shirt and this girl told me she really liked my shirt, but just thought the picture was cool because she didn’t know who was on my shirt. Within the following days she wore a Beatles shirt.

Um tbh all three of us admins have kind of neglected this blog. I feel like a lot of the good rules have already been made (considering I made this blog back in 2013ish) and now all the things that are being submitted now are “Never forget _____”

I hate when people do that!!! It happens way too often and when you compliment them on the shirt or band they look at you like you're an idiot. -_-;-Karac

Ok twelve I used to be really into Elvis in 2nd grade and I am confused why some people don't count Elvis and classic rock. Do you understand why? At the moment I am really into the doors and led Zeppelin. Also not many people like the doors or even know the doors and that really bothers me.

Elvis’ style of music isn’t too much like other classic rock, so that may be why people exclude him. However, he is highly necessary to classic rock because without him and others in the mid to late ‘50s, the classic rock musicians we all love would have had absolutely no inspiration. And as for people not knowing who The Doors are, I relate very well (ah the joys of living in a small town in Illinois).

David Bowie isn't a rapist. If you're referring to the groupie who was like 14, I believe jimmy page was with her too, and she concealed her age. Nobody new she was 14. As for the 80s, he was charged with rape but the charges were dropped when they found evidence she had set him up. They also found a thank you note from her for the night

Am I still considered a fan of a band if I'm mainly just interested in the members? Like I listen to some songs but I'm mostly interested in just learning all about each individual member more than I listen to their songs.

Possibly ? I’m not to sure about this myself, but I’m like this about some bands. Although, if someone asks you if you like a band you could say you like their aesthetic and find the members interesting on their on

Do you have a favorite member of The Beatles?

My favorite used to be Paul (probably because his name is the first I could remember) and he’s the only reason I started playing bass and that’s what sparked my interest in music, so in a way I owe everything to him, but more recently I realized I love all of them so much I can’t choose a favorite at this point.

Thank you! Personally, I’d say the #1 rule is to keep in mind that liking classic rock doesn’t make you inherently better than fans of other music

Some updates ????

Okay! So I made this blog back in 2013 (and through this I've met some cool cats aka the other marvelous admins), but here we are two years later and I feel like just having the rules has gotten a bit mundane, like this blog needs some revamping. I was thinking maybe we could start doing mixtapes/playlists not only by the admins, but submitted by our followers, or other things to get the followers involved. Please tell me what you think about this idea or what you'd like to see on here. -Marissa

If anyone in California is interested in adopting a dog or a cat, Kerns County Animal Shelter ( one of the most disgraceful shelters in California ) is being shut down. Dogs are being sold for 15$ and cats for 5$ ( all are fixed with shots. )

Every animal will be put down by September 30th.
