JUST A LITTLE PSA FOR THIS BLOG:    it  is  a  slow  running  blog  simply  because  i  put  a  lot  of  time  and  effort  into  writing  meredith.    starters  will  take  time  because  i  want  to  write  something  specifically  for  your  character,    one  that  will  go  somewhere.    my  replies  are  something  i  work  on  and  edit,    re-write  if  i  have  to.    i  take  meredith’s  portrayal  really  seriously  because  she’s  an  important  character  to  me  and  i  want  nothing  more  than  to  do  her  justice.    so  i’m  sorry  if  you’re  waiting  on  something,    i  just  want  to  make  sure  you  get  a  reply  that  i’m  pleased  with  and  that  is  genuinely  meant  and  will  add  something  valuable  to  our  thread.

DIVERGENCE. *        i’d  just  like  to  say  that  meredith  grey  would  not  have  stood  by  callie  during  the  custody  battle.    she  would  have  removed  herself  from  the  situation  entirely  because  she  believes  that  it  is  none  of  her  business.    she  supports  callie’s  decision  to  want  to  move  and  take  sofia  with  her,    but  she  understands  arizona’s  apprehension  and  eventual  disapproval.

during  the  custody  battle  there  were  some  things  brought  up  and  said  about  arizona  that  personally,    i  believe  would  really  get  on  meredith’s  bad  side.    words  would  one  hundred  percent  be  said  to  callie  over  them.    as  an  adoptive  mother  herself,    she  was  offended  that  the  fact  that  arizona  not  being  sofia’s  biological  parent  was  brought  into  the  argument  by  callie’s  lawyer.

meredith  would  of  course  be  there  for  callie  and  would  support  her  emotionally  through  the  situation,    she  would  hold  her  while  she  cried  over  losing  primary  custody  of  her  daughter.    meredith  would  also  support  arizona  emotionally  and  let  her  know  that  she  understood  why  arizona  had  to  do  what  she  did.

meredith  would  not  take  the  stand  for  either  party  because  she  believes  that  it  is  not  up  to  her  to  decide  what  is  best  for  sofia.
