Betta fish and Bulldog Bat!

Another couple of creatures for my mod concept. The Betta fish would act as a self sustaining food source, if you catch a few of these and put then together, they will automatically breed. However, Betta fish are known to be aggressive towards competitors, so frequently you’ll see them fighting to the death. They drop a raw Betta fish, which can be consumed for one hunger, and be cooked to provide two hunger.

The Bulldog Bat is not something you’d expect in an aquatic focused mod, however, this bat knows how to fish! With its large claws it swoops down and catches fish when dusk arrives. I’ve heard that it can be tamed with the tail of an elusive little mammal and catch fish for its companion.

Beaver!

I’m in the process of making a collection of models for a potential mod: Rivers & Lakes (title W.I.P)

The Beaver would make the world a little more dynamic by acting as a forest trimmer. They’d chop down trees, and when the decayed leaves drop a sapling it would automatically plant. The beavers would spawn in groups of 2-3 around a dam. The dam, acting as storage for all the harvested wood, as well as the home of another mob that works together with the beavers.

Moss Adder! They’d spawn in lush caves, and be a bit of a trap. If you’re not careful you could get poisoned, unless you spot it first and offer a raw rabbit. Once you feed it, it’ll gladly hop into a decorative pot and poison mobs that come across it.
