These guys sold out at the show. Wish I had made a bunch more! It's funny because a lot of people thought my work was glass and had to pick it up and feel it to realize it's resin. Didn't think I would have that issue, bc I never thought anyone would make a glass bookmark. That would be pretty dangerous, right? Lol.

The show was great overall. Feedback was very positive, and I learned people's preferences at the same time. I also realized that younger women (teens and early 20's) were really thrilled by my work. They would come right over, gasp, and grab what they wanted. There was no deliberation over whether the colors would match their outfits. Rather refreshing to see. 😁

I've always liked working with younger people, especially when I got to teach college. They are just more open and free, less worried, less jaded. Both the Tao Te Ching and Bible have verses saying how we should be like little children.

Releasing trauma through energy/breathwork and visualization is really important as I grow older-- helps return me to the innocence I knew as a kid. All the grudges, trauma, resentments, and pain that we accumulate through experience don't need to be held onto so tightly. When I remember a bad memory, I feel where it is in my body, imagine it being encapsulated by a bubble, and then floating away from my body and disentigrating as it touches the sky.
