Now we have to Jaakuna under control but I wouldn't trust that deranged woman. I don't know what she's thinking, she is too quite in Shelter and also she has obeyed us.
I don't feel any intention against us and that's what makes me feel most uneasy.

Naia Gerlofs, "Jaakuna"
Laurel Reign (ローレル ・レイグン, Roreru Reigun), better known as Naia (ナイア, Naia) is recognized for being the Blackwidow. She is the founder and current ruler of Shelter, the kingdom of sinners as well as being Monkey D Luffy's aunt on his mother's side.
The Five Elder refers to her as «Wicked» (邪悪な, Jaakuna).
Naia is the daughter of Laurel Behaim, a Marine, and Triana, a woman who is member of one of the forgotten tribes, the Amaru tribe aka Blackbones. After being involved in the attack against the Amaru tribe, she was seriously injured, she is saved by some members who managed to escape from their captivity. At the age of eight, she was adopted by Gerlofs Folk, a former Marine from Vice Admiral Maineri Silk's squad, who recognized her as his daughter, giving her a new identity, Gerlofs Naia.
In her youth she has been involved in several crimes against the World Government, for years she was part of the Underworld earning the nickname of Blackwidow, a chaotic and perverse character for both the Govt. and the criminals there.
Previously part of the Roger Pirates, she was the lookout and the fifth member to join the crew. She left the crew when they lost against Silk, his adoptive brother Mildred died trying to helped them and Naia abandoned Roger's pirates on very bad terms, swearing revenge on them if they came near her again.
Despite all the crimes and danger to the World Govt. she has no reward, being a hybrid of the Amaru Tribe she can’t be recognized and any recognition will be awarded to others. This makes Naia known only by people from the New World who are related to illegal information, great pirates and high command in the Marines; her image is mostly a myth in the Underworld 'cause some people started using the nickname for their own profit and spreading rumours about her so a lot of information around her it's a lie or an exaggeration.
After Wano's Arc, Luffy and his crew arrived at Shelter on Rayleigh's recommendation, Naia and some of Shelter's people mainly in charge of teaching them group tactics and giving them individual training.
Naia is a character with the role of support providing information and knowledge.
