Roman's Venture

It had been around four months or so, news got around that the 'rebellious artist' went missing at the same time as a commoner named 'Roman Bo'hex'. It had been speculated that they had stolen the Devil Fruit that was going to the prince 'Copy Copy Fruit' which made the king hire the marines to go after them.

Currently, the escapee was in a room, after being kidnapped by a 'creepy man' on 'Thriller Bark'. There was a heavy amount of commotion going on until suddenly the door to their room was smashed by an unusually large leg.... scratch that the whole fucking building they were in was nearly destroyed. They peaked out of the destroyed building and caught eyes on the infamous straw hat.

After the fights ended the rubber captain offered to help them back to their home. (They don't know about the devil fruit power)

"Hehe well, why didn't you just say that?! We'll bring you back home" the ravenette said with a large smile, Roman's eyes widened at his words, "I'm wanted on my Island.... that won't be the best." Luffy only shook his head and welcomed you aboard "Then join my crew!"

Backstory

Both Jaz and Rom are from the Island of Takai, which is known as a place full of entertainment. Every form of art can be found on the island, for thats how the Monarchy wished it to be. The two were friends since childhood, and both of them moved up in the entertainment ranks together.

Jasmine, the more well-known figure. Did many eccentric acts, singing, dancing, magic tricks, but most of all theater. Her loud persona grabbed the attention of many high figures, mainly the King himself. The king offered a job to the joyous artist, who gladly accepted it. She became the Jester for the royal family and the fool for the wealthy. Everyone around loved her shows, though two people would never face her. The handsome prince, whose attention she yearned for, and her old friend Roman. Despite this she still pushed forward, staying on the island despite her old friends moving on.

Roman, the hidden artist posted many pieces. Ranging from writings, paintings, poems, and even at times clothes, and weapons. Most of them being a punch to the Monarchy. Despite her close friend loving the prince, they couldn't hate him more. Their identity was hidden though they were soon being sniffed out, and now that their friend was on the 'enemy' side they left the island. Venturing on their own, hoping one day to meet their friends and family again.
