Update: things have certainly slowed down, but I wanna pick up the pace so I can be back here again.

BACK STILL TURNED , Nashira's didn't dare to dare to look back as she brought herself back up. Her hands were remained ever so still on her side , fingers twitching to reach for her weapon. "Then what are you here for then?" SHE ASKED.

The aasimar ceased as soon as the other caught her presence. Not that she was sneaking or anything. Arms folded over her chest, a smirk wearing on her handsome features. "Whatever you think I'm here for, you're very mistaken."

Nashira looked down at the OUTSTRETCHED HAND momentarily before she eventually did the same , taking the other hand in a firm grip. "It is a pleasure to be working with you then , but do you have any idea what we're exactly suppose to do?"

A HITCHED BREATH — it would be a lie to say the woman who stands before her wasn't beautiful ; hair as dark as the night , lips as red as the blood rusting on her weapons , and eyes speaking of unspoken secrets. Nashira looked away , least of all , she winds up falling for whatever wicked spell may unfold upon her. "Tempting , I must say , but you will find my resilience is far greater than what power you think you hold."

THE RESEMBLANCE WAS UNCANNY ; still , it wasn't truly like looking into the mirror where her reflection stands before her — blinking , studying and watching closely. Nashira wasn't as tall or as muscular as the other ... it almost made her feel quite envious.

"I never knew my family. Parents dropped me off at the steps of an orphanage in the Lower City of Baldur's Gate." A shrug , there was no bitterness or wonder in Nashira's tone. She had already made peace with the fact her parents - whoever they may be - did not want her or cared enough to leave a note. "Fresh out from the womb too I should add , at least , that's what one of the caretakers said." THERE WAS AN AIRY LILT in her tone now.

It hadn't been lost on her how similar their features were. Quite similar, to the point where it would be easy to think they were siblings if not twins. Dronia just had a few inches on her and some mass. But otherwise, it was unnatural how alike they looked. Dronia awaited what the other would say, leaning in from her perch atop the tree stump at camp. "It could be. I never met my cousins, my aunts were all in Water Deep and my uncle passed when I was a baby." She tapped her chin in thought. "You wouldn't happen to have any family in Water Deep, would you? I get my looks from my mother and that's where her side of the family hailed from."
