Shaun stepped back, coughing.
“Ungh, what was that for! I don’t get paid enough for this…..”

The big diesel smiled broadly. Paxton was always friendly...and sometimes far too trusting. Which is why he saw to it that the green class 08 would be protected come hell or high water.
“Thank you, Paxton,” he said, getting a smile in return.
“Oh um, hi Diesel 10. I brought you some decorations…I hope you feel better soon.”

D10 grunted in mild annoyance. Ah well, he was used to this...
"Where are the other diesels?" He asked.
Ten seconds until the lights go out.
Shaun watched as Will dropped his bag and took out engine fluid replacement, biting off the end. “Six in the fucking morning and I’l already on call.” He muttered. There were dark circles under his eyes…
Shaun watched with wide eyes as Will opened a panel on the side of the engine body and used a pre-made port to insert the fluid, helping 10′s remaning fluid get oxygen rich.
Next, the medic addressed the wounds, pulling on a pir of surgical gloves and getting to work.

“Dented perhaps,” he replied. “Though the worst of it seems to be over.”

Now that the bleeding had stopped, he was feeling his strength return to him. He once again looked down to the massive puddle of oil, fuel, and fluids on the floor. He grimaced.
“Well...I’ve certainly messed myself,” he said in an attempt to lighten the mood.
Ten seconds until the lights go out.

“I’m not making fun of you,” he replied, his smile fading. “Not after what you did for me...”

10 smiled. “Thank you,” he said to Will, then gently nudged Shaun. “I told you I wasn’t gonna die.” he said with a smirk.

He let the man lean into his cheek, looking at him with concern. He felt something wet drip down his own cheek...he blinked a few times. The pain had subsided some.
Ten seconds until the lights go out.

10 looked at him, giving a sad, weary smile. The man had shown him so much kindness and compassion in the past hour.
Ten seconds until the lights go out.

He let out a soft groan. “What a rotten day...” he murmured. “Crushed by my own shed...”
Ten seconds until the lights go out.

“Agh...” he groaned. “Keep doing that...ouch! It hurts...but the pressure will help...” he blinked back tears, it hurt so bad! “Keep going...I...I think you’ve got it...”

“We both know I’m not ready to go...I’ll still be around. even if not physically. That much I can guarantee,” he said, letting a slight smirk cross his face.
“Surely the medic will arive soon...right?” a hint of worry was in the warship’s voice. He was feeling rather weak. “Shaun...” he gasped softly. “I need you to do something...I need you to look inside and find where I’m ...where I’m bleeding from...if you can...and plug it up with whatever you can...you can do this,”
Ten seconds until the lights go out.
