"If you can appreciate a genuinely great singing voice, press play.
Of the three whole towns I’ve ever been to in New Jersey, Hammonton happens to be my favorite. It is home to my dear friend from college, her awesome family members, the Silver Coin Diner, and one of my favorite bands. Oh yeah, and today’s feature artist: 22 year old singer/songwriter, Robin Gazzara.
Gazzara’s single, In My Hands, reminds me of how bad I wanted to have a voice like that when I was growing up. The track, recorded and produced by Gazzara’s brother, Ace Enders (formerly of The Early November), displays just how much of a spectacle her voice is. The addition of the layers upon layers of instruments does her voice justice, if not more.
I personally can’t wait to listen to the work she puts out in the future. You can visit her website here.
To the town of Hammonton: thank you for giving me another reason for loving you.
Until next Monday, catchya later tricks!"

Friday was my little brother’s 3rd birthday and his dinosaur themed birthday party was today. So, you know what that means…I had to make dinosaur something. I made him a little birthday cake that you can see below. We ate his little cake the night of his actual birthday but I wasn’t too crazy about the recipe so I won’t elaborate.

It took me years to find a place that had it after discovering it on Block Island in 2004, but I found it at Delicious Orchards in Colts Neck, NJ. I suppose if you go to any similar country market you can ask if they have any. I just asked them on a whim and they had it. I would tell you what it's called but I can't read the girl's handwriting who wrote it on the bag. If you have any shows in the area in the near future I'll bring you some!
I'll be on the lookout now. That sounds fantastic....i will let you know the next time I have a show nearby!

I just saw your post about all of the tea you have, and it made me want to ask you if you've ever tried any kind of smoked tea? It's really weird, but I like it a lot, so you should give it a try!
hmm no I never tried smoked tea, i never even heard of it! I must try it though....where can you get it from?

Robins Tea Corner I realized the other day how much tea I have and how much room it takes up. Also, how much tea I drink. Heres a list...hehe...
Green mint tea
Orange Black Tea
Assorted decaf tea.
Plain ol' black tea
Ginger Orange loose leaf
Happy Tummy ginger mint
French vanilla chai
Assorted loose leaf christmas tea...(candy apple,apple pie,winter mix,senchaclaus,and fireside)
Sleep tight loose leaf (blend of chamomile, lavender, lemon, and some other stuff...)
Honey bush loose leaf (not shown...forgot that on my desk at work)
And!...plain ol' green tea.
Then of course, my tea press, which is awesome. Good for on the go loose leaf tea.
Next week, i'll be blogging about all of the empty wine bottles I have sitting on my counter....i'm planning to do something crafty with them. This blog makes me sound like i'm 90 years old by the way.

This is a song I covered from Julie Deply from the movie "Before Sunrise" called " Waltz for a Night". I found it quite interesting. Its about how you can meet someone, and they come in and out of your life quickly. Though you have no expectations, they make you feel and experience something that you've never felt before. And with that...it seems easier to accept that they're gone. Keep that close to you, and move along in life. It may hurt to let go, but one day you'll be able to look back and smile. Oh a story i've heard too many times.

The wall between the clown and the songwriter...
We both get back from our day jobs...make some dinner, clean stuff, read the paper...then invest the night in what we truly love to do. The only thing is,I write music and usually record....my neighbor, needs to practice his clown routine. My routine consists of playing piano, guitar, singing, cursing, yelling, and talking to myself. His routine consists of circus music, clown laughing, and random high pitched noises that I just cant put my finger on.  I think its a inconvenient, yet really awesome and interesting situation i'm always in. He tours the world as a clown, entertaining, doing something he is so passionate about, leaving the one he loves behind for months at a time. I was in that same position before, minus the clown make up. Hes probably one of the nicest most genuine people i've ever met. Even though he laughs loudly while i'm trying to sleep, how could I get mad?? I just cant....its too awesome.
