Back at it
It’s time to get back to getting “Glaive-body ready”!!! Life got in the way since my last post, butnits time to get serious again. I’ll be doing a couple of weeks of reconditioning my body for working out- basic weights mon/we’d/fri, and running for about 20-30 min tues/thurs. After that, I’ll be breaking my weights days into workouts focused on specific body areas, while still running in the off days. I hope to make Nyx proud!

Day 012
Whew. Busy week kept me from my routine unfortunately. First day I got a chance to do anything. Feels good! Upped my running time a bit. If I keep this up, I’ll finally be back to running 5k’s without stopping again! It’s been so long since I had the stamina for that. Ran 25 minutes, walk 5 min.

For Hearth and Home
Hi! Most people know me by my moniker “Brokenlynx21″ or simply “Lynx”.
So what exactly am I doing here with this blog?
Despite all its faults, I’m a huge fan of Final Fantasy XV and it’s tie-in/prequel movie “Kingsglaive”. I’m a big (thebiggest) fan of the main character glaive Nyx Ulric, and of the Kingsglaive special unit that gives the movie its namesake. I was so excited when Square Enix released the “Comrades” add-on to the game which allowed you to create your own Glaive to play as.
Anyways, I’m a huge fan, blah blah blah. In my personal life, I’ve been looking to work on my fitness and achieve the sort of body that’d be right at home in a Final Fantasy game. Its been a goal of mine for many years, but I’m finally wanting to make it a reality. And with that, I want to make myself fit enough to serve a King of Lucis. I want to be “Glaive-Body” ready!
I’ve been working out for a couple months already trying to condition my body to be able to handle working out seriously, and I’m now a week into my Kingsglaive workout regiment. I figured post and sharing my progress would give me a sense of accountability, and keep me motivated to stick with the program long-term. I’ll be posting a log of my workouts, progress updates and photos, and I’ll be sprinkling little bits of Kingsglaive and Nyx Ulric inspiration posts here and there. This should all culminate in a hopefully accurate cosplay of Nyx.
