THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!
tbh i think ppl already logged out of their rk accs so this is probably something that will not be seen but i still want to write it as a way of closure, something that’s on my muses blogs whenever i find my way back on them once in a while to reminisce. i feel sad and nostalgic making this post because a huge part of my life has come to an end and it took me almost a full week to digest it — i’ve been in rookies for almost five years and it were some of the greatest years i ever had. while i leave this roleplay behind with regrets because of irl keeping me from being active these past months, all the solos and ideas i haven’t written, visual posts and potential social media posts i had saved for a later time, i want to focus on the good things;
and there were a lot of them.
i met so many amazing people here, made so many friends that i hope i’ll keep for a lifetime and i developed greatly as a writer. got to see my muses grow and struggle and form bonds with all those different personalities, with the muses of the friends i made and people i met and it was so much fun. i’ll never forget it, i’ll never forget any of you. thank you for everything. i’ll never forget those one and a half years i got the chance to be on the mod team and work with them to make the roleplay i love so much an even more enjoyable place. i learned a lot too while i got to carry that title, had such a great time on the team and even though some things, some times, were complete shit, i enjoyed this so much and i’ll miss it. i’ll miss being mod lari, i’ll miss the team, our conversations in the mod chat. kyle, razel, bianca, keith, gab, mir and carly too, thank you so much.
i won’t go into too much detail about my muses futures bc i feel more like leaving that part open rather than fixating it but i’ll share some thoughts,
@rkbyunbaek — byun baekhyun ( DE:CODE’s leader and main vocal, B.MIL )
he’ll stay in de:code forever probably. i can see him being their leader until the group disbands one day or moves on from the company together but i don’t think he’ll ever just up and leave them behind. career-wise he would’ve gone a little into modeling, but his passion stays in hosting programs and radio shows, especially after getting his own late-night radio show, and doing variety programs. as well as musicals; he does a lot of them. he also tries acting one or two times in dramas but doesn’t like it as much since it’s not centered around music and stays with musicals. along the line i wanted him to get a youtube channel where he mainly does asmr videos and streams about gaming and i think there’s a solo career alongside de:code waiting for him too.
@rkjennie — kim jennie ( ECLIPSE’S main rapper )
thinking of a future path for jennie is hard just because she’s been having so many ups and downs ever since she joined kt and it’s difficult to see where she’s going. a part of me can see her continuing being an idol — but tbh i think she’ll stay in eclipse until her contract is done, not renewing bc in the end being on stage isn’t her thing entirely no matter how much she enjoyed it. the hate and pressure just being too much for her. ( she also missed having a normal life away from the public’s eye. ) while still being an idol she went into modeling, did a lot of hosting and probably wrote and produced a couple of songs for the group. and she went to school to start moving towards her dream of being a makeup artist / stylist. which is what she becomes. she still models and writes / produces songs, music staying more of a hobby in her life though.

i never got the chance to get started on him after bringing the muse back bc rl got bad which makes me really sad. with the rp being closed in mind i feel like he would have never gotten a trainee at all, maybe only for a shot time to check it out if the opportunity came up, but he would’ve most likely stayed on youtube with covers, maybe going down the model road? but overall he would’ve finished studying, working in a pharmacy and keeping his love for sports and music as a hobby.

he is all giddy, as they step out of their room and announce to the other members that they would take a nightly walk. snickering at jaehyun’s advice to bring a cap and a mask along, he clutches his arm around baekhyun’s shoulder, asking: “won’t it be even more suspicious if two guys wore it, when walking around?” jokes aside though, he was aware that they had to be careful and take care of their fragile image, especially in the early phases of their careers. so he messed up his hair and pulled hair strands into his face, before placing a plain black cap on top of it and hiding his face behind black fabric. waving at the younger members, they walk out of the door and are soon greeted by a fresh breeze of night air.
kang joon inhales deeply, smiling at the shorter man, when he noticed his glances. “thanks for inviting me to come with you. i’m always happy to accompany you.” if there was anything he could do for the younger man to feel a little more at ease, despite his responsibilities as leader, then he would do it. it was his way of supporting him and acting as a hyung for once. “yeah, same.”
surprised, his eyes dart over to their group leader. he didn’t know why, but somehow he expected the other who he thought was much better at socializing with the other royal trainees had already gone drinking with one of the other members for bonding purposes. “oh, really? me neither. it’s a first for me. you are taking my drinking-with-a-member-virginity tonight.” the older man goofes around, snorting at his own comment. “me? the best companion for it?” he wonders and laughs out loud at baekhyun’s reasoning for why kang joon was best suited for the job. if he really thought like that, he had never seen him partying and losing control like he did during the squad’s gatherings. “pretty sure, you got false information there. when you are with me, everything will turn into a drinking contest.” nudging the other’s side teasingly, he follows him in his track on their way to said food stall.
his small smile stays hidden behind the mask that’s pulled over half of his face but it should be easy to spot in the slight crinkle of his eyes as he looks at kangjoon right next to him. he really is grateful, the fresh night air already doing well in clearing his head a little -- that’s not what baekhyun wants, though. he wants a real distraction, to numb out some of the feelings that have been sitting inside his chest for the longest while. and there’s no better way to do that with being a little irresponsible and self-indulgent for once.
baekhyun thinks getting a little drunk has been way overdue.
somehow, the other’s reaction makes baekhyun feel a little embarrassed, a sheepish look slipping onto his features as his gaze darts ahead and away from kangjoon and his surprised expression. “yeah,” is all he says for a brief moment before he bursts out into a snort, nudging him in the side with his elbow. “drinking with a member virginity?” baekhyun repeats, still snorting a laugh, “well, i guess i’m honored then,” he chimes in on the joke even though his cheeks feel a little warm for some reason and there’s a familiar pull in his chest that he’s trying to ignore, “especially since it’s my first time too.” his laugh has long faded, shoulders a little tense but it shouldn’t be noticable.
“i —” baekhyun’s forehead knits into a light frown, thoughtful, “have no idea why i’ve never asked any of the members before. like, we’ve all been busy and, yeah, but.. i always just went alone mostly. even as a trainee.” ( only one person popping up in his mind that he’d really like to ask for a drink, actually. ) the walking distance to the food stall isn’t long, just like baekhyun said, and he can already see it after some minutes of walking, hand slipping out of his pocket to point ahead. “here it is,” baekhyun says in between, eyes on kangjoon again for a brief moment. “well,” he laughs, “i don’t mind that at all. i’m highly competitive.” and he’d love to get a nice buzz out of this. he slips his fingers around kangjoon’s arm to pull him along, underneath the tent. “you like some ddeokbokki?”

The beloved radio show IDOL RADIO had a special MC today. The usual host had conflicting schedules and DE:CODE’s B.MIL took their place for the day. He is the leader and main vocalist of his group, and interviewed a new rookie boy group on their debut. B.Mil has experience being an MC from last month’s KBS Summer Festival along with ECLIPSE’s JOOHYUN. DE:CODE is ROYAL ENTERTAINMENT’s newest boy group and made their debut earlier this year in March with their first mini-album ‘CODE:GO’ and title track ‘GORILLA’.
