Palestinian banks could be cut off from the Israeli banking system starting next week following a decision by Israel’s finance minister to cease dealings between the two financial institutions, according to a report on Thursday by Israeli newspaper Haaretz.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has two days to convene a cabinet meeting to discuss reversing plans by Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich to isolate Palestinian banks from both the Israeli and international banking systems.
The Palestinian economy is based on the Israeli currency, the shekel, making it reliant on ties to Israel and its financial dealings with the rest of the world must go through the Bank of Israel and Israeli banks.
We call this Apartheid.

Israel pinkwashing their genocide knowing damn well they don't respect/actively DISCRIMINATES against queers and queer Jews is a bit insane to me!! Like babe, they're just as capable of homophobia as ANYBODY-- be it the Palestininans or your best friend.
I'm gonna be honest I don't give a flying fuck if every single Palestinian is violently homophobic, which they're not, they still don't deserve to go through genocide. How DARE you try to use queer oppression as a stepping stone for your argument on why ethnic cleansing is a good thing, you make me genuinely sick.
This isn't a 'oh, but there are queer Palestinians!' post, because obviously there are but even if there aren't, PALESTINIANS STILL DON'T DESERVE TO DIE. If you need a reason to oppose genocide then you need to seriously take a step back, look in the mirror, and ask yourself what the fuck is wrong with you.

Not really seen many people talk about it but I might have just missed it. Anyway the investigation into UNRWA after Israel's accusations has come back and said they haven't found any links nor has Israel handed over any evidence.
We already knew this was a lie and smear campaign against UNRWA to further the genocide and continue to starve Palestinians but now we have confirmation.
