sorry if this has been asked and answered already, but what sort of camera do you use? those photos you took of oregon's coast were beautiful
thank you! i use a canon 6D mark II. those photos were shot with an old minolta telephoto through a glassed adapter, hence the vignetting in some of them.

currently downloading my archive after which i will be deleting my account and not returning to tumblr. you cannot find me on other social media.
this site has demonstrated over and over and over again that even those of you who consider yourself allies to trans women will immediately turn against us when someone else uses the right words to imply we're evil.
the other day a very good friend of mine made a post that I think was ultimately ill-advised about aaron bushnell and some observations that made her speculate on his identity. she had some 300 followers but the posts ABOUT that post have gained so much more traction than her post ever got, which led to people dogpiling her and attacking her for daring to "decenter the discussion around palestine"
here's my question: who is decentering palestine? one woman who said "hmm this is weird" in the middle of her posting routinely about the palestinian struggle or the rest of the website grinding to a fucking halt to tell her how evil she is?
every fucking week we bully a trans woman off this site and then we do a weepy retrospective reblogged by all the same people who were doing it in the first fucking place saying how "people attack trans women on inflated charges all the time and bully them off the site, how horrible."
i am not asking you to agree with what she said, or to think it was right or even okay. i am telling you that immediately attacking her as being some kind of evil person trying to fandomize reality is NOT an effective tool for discussion. and i didn't make that example up -- people called her all kind of names and insults over what, exactly? because i KNOW she is more informed on palestine than 99% of the people yelling at her.
some of you that i respected fell for it and mocked her directly or indirectly and i did expect better from you. but maybe that's what i get.
