cw. rant, I need to write this down somewhere
I've been feeling super lonely nowadays.
maybe it's because I've been more active irl and as a consequence, I see couples or couples-to-be everywhere I go. and somehow indulging in selfship stuff makes me feel even lonelier (because of the stark reminder of their unreality in my nonexistent love life).
in addition, work has been escalating and I can't express myself in storytelling for the past month or so. thus, all my emotions are pent up and it's.
SO.
FRUSTRATING.
I just want to be spoiled silly but I can't even have that since there's no one to spoil me (I guess my parents can, but that's not the kind of spoiling I need ha haha ha).
*sigh*
I think it'll be some time until I can truly get back into writing or even creating fanworks at all. I'll just lurk around for now (if I have the energy anyway).
yes, I'm officially declaring a hiatus, for at least a month, in the hopes that I'll be able to come back better.

Ngl I totally forgot that today's White Day.
I open the door to get lunch after working in my room for half a day... only to find Wriothesley pacing in front of me, looking dapper with one of his more formal outfits on, a bouquet of cute periwinkle flowers in his right hand.
He stops pacing once our eyes meet.
"Hey. Uh, this is for you."
He hands over the bouquet abruptly, practically shoving it into my arms. Two of the smaller flowers fall out of the bouquet due to the sudden movement.
"Whoa," I gasp, a blush blossoming on my cheeks, "Thank... you? Did I miss something?"
His mouth goes agape. "Huh? It's March 14."
"Yes, and?"
"It's White Day, right?"
"..."
"..."
"... Oh."
"You... forgot."
I chuckle awkwardly. "I totally did. I haven't been with anyone for years, so the occasion completely slipped my mind."
"Ah, that's understandable."
I hug the bouquet carefully. "Ehe... thank you, Wrio. It reminds me of my mom's garden back in Sumeru."
He shuffles on his feet. "Yeah... I remember you telling me about her garden, so I figured you'd like periwinkles more than the classic Rainbow Roses for today."
I tiptoe to give him a peck on his cheek. "You're so sweet... I hope you'll get to see them in person someday."
He blushes. "You mean... you want me to meet your parents?"
"Well, yes. I told them about you plenty already in my letters, and they really want to see you."
His eyes light up like an excited puppy. "I... uh. I'll see what I can do with my schedule."
"You do that, mister. For now though, we should get some lunch. I'm starving."
"You're right." He offers his left arm with a smile. "Shall we?"

PSA: Tumblr/Wordpress is preparing to start selling our user data to Midjourney and OpenAI.
you have to MANUALLY opt out of it as well.
to opt out on desktop, click your blog ➡️ blog settings ➡️ scroll til you see visibility options and it’ll be the last option to toggle.
to opt out on mobile, click your blog ➡️ scroll then click visibility ➡️ toggle opt out option.
if you’ve already opted out of showing up in google searches, it’s preselected for you. but you also have to opt out for each blog you own separately, so if you’d like to prevent AI scraping your blog i’d really recommend taking the time to opt out. (source)
