If you support mission trips to try to teach indigenous peoples the “word of god” under the guise of helping them on their rez’s unfollow me right now.
Help should be given without expecting anything or any exterior motives other than helping people in poverty. Help dismantle the fucking trauma, not cause more. Mission trips and people trying to teach us the “word of god” is what landed us in residential schools and gave us intergenerational trauma. Fuck off if you wanna do that shit, thats just another form of colonialization.
