*Problmes in rural marketing are under developed people and market, low level of literacy, low per capita income, I transportation and warehouses, ineffective distribution channels, spurious brands, I seasonal demand and disordered markets.
Basically we can say that rural marketing is a process which starts with sessions to produce a saleable farm commodities and it involves all the aspects of market structure of system, both functional and institutional, based on technical and economic consideration, and includes pre and post harvests operations. Assembling, grading storage transportation .
Large and scattered markets in rural India is large in the sense of that it consists of million people and forming Of average population resides kn more that village spread throughout the country. Rural prosperity is tired with agricultural prosperity because more than population incomes comes from rural India. Consumers in rural areas have low standards of living in over popolution is employed in small scale agriculture and related occupation. Rural consumers are valuing old customs and traditional and do not prefer changes. But gradually rural population is changing its demand pattern and there is demand for brand products in villages.
And if we talk about infrastructural facilities such as roads, rural electricity broadness, ware houses ,communication system and the financial facilities are inadequate in rural areas. There is a development of these infrastructural facilities which have increased the scope of rural marketing.
So there is a phrase from ancient times "हमारा भारत सोने की चिडिया था " it simplifies the glory of our country that it means there was revolution in our country and it's all because of the agricultural basis.
Time passes and techniques changed. The income is seasonal in nature, it depends on crop production therefore it is fluctuating also. Though time large, I rural markets is geographically scattered due to some reasons and it shows harvesting, linguistic, I religious and cultural diversities ans economic breadth. The market is underdeveloped because ghr people who constitute it lacks purchasing. And if we talk about the widening of makets then rural marketing widens the market for the products by taking them to remote corners of the country, the widening of maketing helps increasing the demand on a continuous basis and thereby guranteer a higher income.
