It never even crossed my mind to ship riddler and Barbara before but their interactions on unburied are so good. They genuinely respect each other, have good chemistry, finish each other sentences. And already are in the Barbs and Eddy territory.

They make one hell of a duet, as the Penguin in the latest live-action outing would say. There would be no hint of sarcasm in this case though.

Barbara is crazy enough to work with him, but she's not single-minded like Edward and Bruce are. She is willing to sacrifice the mission to keep her partner safe. And Edward is conscious of his compulsions yet remains focused on the mission to the point of risking his safety for it. They keep each other on their toes and watch each other's back.

Even if it's not all leading up to a romantic relationship, it's still *chef's kiss*.

Please tell me more about RiddleOracle!

RiddOracle is the portmanteau I came up with back in 2020. As you may have noticed, it's what I use as a tag for the non-canon ship of Riddler/Edward Nygma and Batgirl/Oracle/Barbara Gordon. And you may have also noticed that I'm the only one who uses it.

There isn't much to say about these two and their canon relationship because they've hardly interacted in any continuity. Though, the last couple of times they did interact, the villainous crush trope was leaned on pretty heavily.

Edward makes a pretty twisted prom proposal to Barbara in DC Super Hero Girls and an even more twisted marriage proposal in Prelude to the Wedding. In both instances, he tests her detective skills and her patience and I find that highly entertaining.

In Batman Unburied they are working together while testing each other, and I find that even more entertaining. And I don't even need Edward to have a villainous crush on Barbara, or a regular crush now that he's making efforts to reform. I just need more of them.

Batgirl can't feel her jaw, only the swear words stinging her tongue as she spits them out: "Fuck you." He twirls his cane and quirks a smirk.

Riddler takes a trip downward, ass first, onto the asphalt. She mounts the man and straddles his lap.

She takes his shirt collar in her fists and squeezes his sides with her thighs. "Fuck. You." She grinds down on him.

He bares his teeth in a grin and holds her hips with both hands. "Ay, there's the rub," he sighed Prince Hamlet's words and grinds upwards into her.
