one of my favorite things about one piece live action: it doesn't try to "fix" the outfits or the gimmicks or anything to make them "cooler". the weird cat dude is still wearing that weird cat outfit!!! they fucking hiss!! buggy is somehow more buggy than he is in the original!!! they didn't look at one piece and decide that it would be better without the camp, they instead went all in on the goofy, silly, cartoonishness and it works so so well i love it

How does Revali like to be comforted?

Before he was a Champion, before he knew Link, before he had anyone, Revali would comfort himself by barracading himself at the flight range and training until he stopped feeling whatever he was feeling

But now, he has a whole family to help him when he's struggling

He learns that Urbosa gives the best hugs, Daruk knows good places to take out his rage if he's angry, Mipha is a wonderful ear to listen if he needs to rant, Zelda is good to listen to if the opposite is true.

But the thing that comforts him most is Link braiding his hair. Revali is very proud of his hair, but he's spent nearly his entire life braiding his own hair, a monotonous ritual every morning to stay presentable.

The first time he allowed Link to touch his hair, the second he felt Link running the brush through his hair, he practically melted. He fell asleep as Link started weaving his hair into his braids. Link had needed to do his hair all over again, but ever since then, whenever Link notices that Revali is stressed, he gets a comb, and pulls Revali to braid his hair.

im watching a retrospective about Majora's Masks dungeon progression and realizing a little more every time he says "this game took a lot of very brave steps out to not be ocarina of time" that my disappointment with totk isn't out of place. I've been told "it's breath of the wild 2, why did you expect it to be different?" but like.. it's it's own game. why is it the exact same but with an arguably worse iteration of the story?

I can't believe that Leon/Luis's ship would capture my heart like that. That it is both a comfort and tragic ship. That Luis sacrificed his own life for his friend (boyfriend). I adore them with all my heart and despite everything, they'll be canon for me. And I'll not stop talking about them <3
