The cabinet is factory original urea plastic which is a hard inflexible plastic that predates polycarbonate plastics found everywhere today. The condition of this particular cabinet is good. There is a hairline crack that goes around the perimeter of the bottom. The nose cone has been damaged. This type of cabinet was very susceptible to heat cracks along the top. This is one of the rare Motorola turbines without the crack. This vintage tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Motorola in 1957 in excellent+ working condition. This design is called the turbine radio for obvious reasons. The clear cone is shiny and original and securely attached. The clear plastic cone has stress fractures.
