just wanted to let you know your dirk makes me feel very confident of how i look and act as a trans dude ^_^ hes cool but also kind of a nerd but especially the way you represent how he---in my interpretation of it at least---is comfortable the way he is, through casually being shirtless or not binding, which doesn't change his identity as a man or how the people around him see him.
additionally, how he's able to be in a loving relationship while doing this is something i dont think ive seen anywhere else and really makes me feel better about myself!! ok thats all lol
im so glad forever how many people find love and confidence in the way i draw dirk !!!
hussie was sucha genius with roxy and dirks transness. dirk and roxy growing with no society in solitude they get to form their own society. dirk gets to know what being a boy means to him and roxy gets to know what being a girl means to her. its a wonderfully positive view on transness and i want to keep that and i hope portraying that in my fanart helps me and others with their own view of being trans.
this and also bcus i believe all the kids are some kind of queer, comfort amongst your queer friends is important and i believe that is such a huge thing with the hs kids. they are all close and comfortable with eachother in such a unique way bcus of the story narrative. i love portraying kindness and love thru queerness, its why dirkjake is so awesomeee. t4t comfort enough to be themselves how they want..and for no one else.
you have my dirk down to a T (haha get it). hes confident in the fact he is a man and without the pressure of a cis normative society, his idea of what makes him a man doesnt come down to how his body looks. and i think thats a wonderful attitude to have, as a trans guy that does want to medically transition in some ways, its still important to know how who you are and your presentation is not all on the outside. i think dirk and roxy are a great representation of that

Hello tumblr user Repliiku. I love how you draw Dirk being topless in mundane situations. I think more ppl should draw characters being boobs out and the drawing being not even remotely sexual. They're just there.
Thank you dearly tumblr user hermitcyclop <33 I think it’s extremely nice and important esp to portray non sexual TRANS nudity. So much of our bodies is shunned and made fun of. And while I do def only really do it for dirk, I do mean all trans nudity ! And I do hope if I were to post stuff like that with other characters that it would get the same appreciation:)))
I don’t feel like drawing anything new but here are some older dirks that never got around to tumblr :))) the last one is a unfinished alpha kids hot tub hangout piece I would like to come back too

my dirk sports a good face of acne and blemish which i tend to forget to draw ^___^ i think it suits him and its a design aspect i don't see a lot with characters. a fake fan truly for never drawing it, but just for you i give you my dirk with freckles. i also encourage any dirk freckle enthusiasts to check my talented bf's @zan0tix dirk (doodle by me at the bottom right) who does sport very awesome freckles

This might sound a tad silly but i've been following you for a while and seeing the way you depict Dirk as a transmasc w/o top surgery has really helped me feel seen as one and even given me some extra motivation to begin my transition, big thank you!
NOT SILLY AT ALL !!!!!!!! means the world truly :))) that is exactly the affect i want my dirk to have. as a trans guy who cant really bind and stuff. its also a little silly to admit that drawing homestuck character dirk strider with boobs also acts as a huge boost of confidence for myself and dealing with dysphoria, always hope this resonates with others transmascs.
I'm so glad to hear that my art has given this feeling and wish you the best of joy with your transition <333333 trans art even through an existing media is so life changing truly ! here is a silly dirk 4 u. its funny I've never actually drawn him with anything trans flag colored. that's a little criminal

Thank you so much :)))❤️❤️❤️ my biggest inspiration since I was little has always been one piece ^__^ very influential series that got me into drawing in the first place. But some other inspirations of mine are def Code Lyoko and Little Nightmares.
This may sound a little cliche, not a media but!!! People!! Are my inspiration. People are so unique and special. The way we interact, love, and share our time with eachother isn’t expressed in media the same way it is when you see and experience it yourself. Humans are awesome and I try my best to draw the characters I like as human as possible bcus that’s special to me
