DESIGN - An alarm clock that brews coffee : “Barisieur” by Joshua Renouf. London-based designer Joshua Renouf has created the “Barisieur”, a charming alarm clock that is also a coffee-maker. It is designed to wake the user up gently with the sound of clinking ball bearings—which are used to boil water—and the smell of freshly brewed coffee. l Via

I wanted to discuss my new lamp with a leading designer. So I ventured to London, Barking to Visit Duffy London Studios. They really appreciated the design and Chris Duffy had great advice which was Great.

I then thread the wire through the insulator and stuck the aluminium ring down on top of the wire. Then glued the lens over the top.

I threaded the wire through and made it sit in the divot. I glued the LED to the aluminium shade.
