I figured out why, actually

Was thinking and I have a theory that Livio doesn't use his guns unless he's facing a true opponent or a crowd- (trying to impress somebody and/or bullets are just that expensive? Haha)

Anyways as a result he fights like a bear- supposing that the key is staying out of arms reach and never ever let him grab a hold of you

I adore Vivio as well just two very kind but very broken people trying their very best hhhhhhhhhh

But Chyeah one of my fav things about their dynamic is how comfortable they are around each other- esp with Vash being so trusting of Liv from nearly the very get-go

Whether it’s goofin together or having a deep moment, it comes easy to them-

I like the idea that whenever LR are around it means that it’s time to Rest™️ for Vash, mind and heart at peace knowing everything will be alright since they’re there (even if it gets in the way of quality time sometimes)

I am very curious about 80s dystopia lore? Also very much in love with your characterization in the scribs of it! (Not to mention the very 80s aesthetic of high shine in neon light that a lot of your colored arts of it has)

Shiooooooooooot appreciates it haha I’m still working out designs/character roles/lore but-! If I do end up going through with it more I’m thinking that WW is going to be more or less the main character, still working as a “priest” who follows around a really weird dude whos not a plant with feathers but,,, something else (insert fungi/fun guy joke here)

Moreso a “what if” scenario where the circumstances of how folks ended up on Gunsmoke led to the current setting

Livio being a white bread ONLY pb&j sandwich WITHOUT the crusts typa kid is sending me. Baby Liv is exactly the kid who'd go wild for a chip butty on a Friday night and thinks its the pinnacle of the culinary arts

I like how you draw Livio cuz you make him look like a cool dad

I think it would take a while for him to get used to it but™️™️™️ foster dad suits him quite nicely

(Oh jeeze I struggled with picking out where to start with this- but yeh here's some of my THots and Interpralations- Spoilers!))

I guess comparatively it's interesting how differently LR deal with heavy emotions- Livio when he's allowed to be his true self is very in touch with his feelings while also being very receptive of other's emotions (A double edged sword- making him empathetic/sympathetic and good with children, but also hypersensitive to negativity geared towards him, which causes him false senses of rejection)

NGL I find it refreshing having a masculine character be a leaky faucet and it's not portrayed as a running joke- I can only imagine how much conditioning it took for Chapel to instill on L for him to bottle his emotions up so much to the point he behaved more like a machine than a person, with Livio trying his best to remain in Chapel's good standings (So much so it still has an effect on how Livio perceives himself, less of a man and moreso a tool). I can also only imagine how exhausting it must've been to have Chapel constantly analyzing and commenting on L's behavior, even the smallest things like a change in his breathing- So it must've been incredibly liberating when he was allowed to cry for the first time in who-knows-how-long with nobody judging him during his first supper with Vash

I like with his little bit of character growth he's able to reach out to R to let him know that he understood that he'd relied on R too much, the result being that L had ended up treating them both poorly- indicative that he can be open and deep with others (albeit maybe not at the best of times lololol)

That being said- Razlo does a terrible job with handling his own emotions and even admits that he is no good when it comes to having deep discussions- I tend to think that he is made incredibly uncomfortable by being upset/sad, and is someone who is very difficult to console or comfort, as when he's made upset its a big outburst of emotions boiling over- borderline being a temper-tantrum

Tend to also think that he also has a very difficult time with processing with feelings of love/joy geared towards him from others, as its not something he's ever really experienced growing up with others- but tends to constantly seek validation anyways despite being unable to interpolate it very well

What's neat tho even with his very brief appearances in the manga that even as a very aggressive character we can see that he's got a broad range, more than capable of being at the very least sympathetic (ie w/ WW getting his ass beat for a bit) and is very very very lonely-

as (a different) system your LR stuff isnt demeaning or anything. sometimes shit is genuinely just like that in a system LMAOOOO as much as its a dissociative disorder than can fuck with ur life there is silliness in it. especially when the other guy is just looking over your shoulder like "you sure bro? sure bout that?"

Appreciates it yehhh- Supposen I just worry about finding a good balance, such as when too much silliness from someone who’s never experienced this in real life overshadows what is a serious topic

With that being said- I’m always receptive to correction and education, but I’m glad folks have enjoyed the bois ⭐️✨

Having a lot of thots™️ regarding the headcannon that both LR are musically inclined, just with some different music tastes

I love seeing your wip process and how you go from rough sketches to a polished piece! As someone who hasn't done much art in a hot minute, I love seeing how much time and attention went into each detail and really being reminded of just how much work & human effort goes into creating such gorgeous art. Your huge incredible stunning beautiful piece of Razlo from late last year lives in my mind, and I think in part it's because seeing wips really made me pour over every part of it so see how you'd made it and to appreciate Razlo in all his glory. I just love the reminder that art has been made by an actual real person with passion and talent and time, and that I get to see it and share a little moment of connection with an artist across time and space. Anyway I'm rambling. All that's to say, I love your art & seeing how it comes together more than I know how to say. Your style feels like coming home.
