After the news broke out, Reign was in disbelief herself. She wasn't to close with Heather but she never would have expected this. She also felt for the girl, denial is hard. Reign whipped up a bake ziti to bring over for them to have, something one does for people grieving. Reign also knew that Jordan would not talk to her, so she called teagan over instead. Reign was on her shift at the hospital, doing her psychiatric work. She had a moment in between appointments and thought it would be nice to pop over to the maternity wing to check in on Max and Ana. Knocking on the door softly, she found max. "Hey! I was stopping by to see how everything was going. How is the new addition?"

"Just take a drag already" After being filled in on her drunken actions, she wasn't feeling the best. She knew everyone would be mad at her, okay maybe not everyone but definitely Jordan and Charlie. So she was doing what she did best, deflect and avoid. Reign held the joint out and waited for Brielle to take it. "So were you close with either of the murders? I'm still blown about Harrison."

"Oh my god, shut up" Reign growned as she rolled over on the couch. "Do you know how early it is, do you have to be this loud." She commented. The girl did not remember much from the night, she had drunk far too many fireball shots on top of everything else she had. "How did I end up here?" She questioned, just glad Charlie did not bring her home for her father to see.

Reign exhaled. "I feel like there is just so much more going on than the murders, you know? Like those are obviously heavy but life has its own lead weights dragging us down too." She pushed her wet hair out of her face before taking the shot and throwing it back. "What are you doing to live your best life, I need suggestions."

"I get t-that, it's, um, it's pretty normal t-to be stressed about all this s-stuff going on," Brandon nodded along. He could feel it too, the sentiment of her words - just craving a night, just a night, where they didn't have to worry, where nothing happened. He knew that anyone thinking they were safe here was out of their damn mind. "I-I suppose we just have t-to live our best lives right now, right? Like, the, um, the shadow wants us to feel like t-that-- hopeless a-and stuff..."

Reign was drunk so gone to be a big concern but enough where she was letting loose and her judgment wasn't where it probably should be. After a few messages in the forum, Rafe came over by the pool to check on her. Hearing him greet as he approached, Reign threw her hands up. "Rafe!" She exclaimed as she brought her drink back down and took another sip. "Come swim with me!" She stated before wrapping her arms around him and giving him a hug. "When did you get so... buff." she questioned as she pulled away. "Anyway, no tops allowed in the pool."

For a moment, Reign thought back to when Mrs.Hayes had died and the toll that took on Jordan, of course, they were older when that happened. The following year was her accident. Those events brought Jordan and Reign a lot closer than they were as they both were there for each other. "He has been through a lot, I feel for him. But he will be okay. He always is, you know." She exhaled. "So what are you drinking?"

Teagan nodded in understanding, a sympathetic expression crossing her face. "Losing a parent is never easy, especially at such a young age but I like to think she'll be fine." She sighed, her voice tinged with sadness, having lost her mother at the age of twelve she could relate to her niece even if it's just a little. "He thinks he can bite off more than he can chew. But he's been through his fair share of hardships, and yet he always manages to keep going. He's a fighter, and I admire him for that. You being there for him made it clear how much you care. And I'm glad he was there for you too when you needed it, he's a kind soul for sure." Teagan smiled warmly, grateful for the bond they shared and the support they offered one another.

Reign had a soft smile as he said the shot was coming up. The brunette exhaled. "Yeah, I'm alright, I guess I am just more stressed than sad, maybe overwhelmed. I just want to let loose, do something crazy, kiss random people and dance, you know?"

"One s-shot of fireball coming up," he smiled softly before turning to the bartender and ordering one of those for her and another beer for himself. "Are you, um, a-are you alright?" Brandon asked, turning back to Reign. "You just, er, you s-seem a little sad. Do you want t-to talk about it?"

Tiff wasnt the most amazing person to walk this earth, but she was the mother to Jordan's child, and Daisy was a blessing. She was surely the sweetest kid. "I can't imagine how she must be feeling." Reign said with a frown. "Oh I know, he is a tough cookie, doesn't really accept help, but always gives it. You don't have to thank me, its the least I can do. Jordan is my eyes most days. He has done so much for me since the accident, I am forever grateful."

Teagan looked over and met Reign's gaze, a mix of gratitude and sadness in her eyes. She let out a sigh and joined Reign by the poolside, her own drink in hand. "Hey Reign," she replied softly, appreciating the familiar comfort of their long-standing friendship. "It's been tough, you know. Losing Tiff... it's like a part of me is missing, and Daisy... it's just too hard." Her voice wavered slightly as she spoke, the pain of the recent loss still fresh in her heart. "Thank you especially for being there for J, he needs his people now more than ever. Even if he doesn't admit it or ask for it." Teagan said, a genuine warmth shining through her words. As she took another sip from her drink, she felt a sense of gratitude for the unwavering support that Reign had provided during this challenging time.

"Max!" Reign called out she heard him passing by her. "Oh my, there you are!" She said with an exhale. The brunette was clearly drunk as she stumbled around. "I just don't remember why I needed you, to be honest...that's a bummer."

Reign was taking a dip in the pool, she loved swimming. It was one of the things she still felt connected to since loosing her sight. hearing there was a shot call, reign approached the others. "Hey B, hmmm." She paused to think about what she wanted. "I'll take a shot of fireball." she said softly. After the past few weeks of being on edge she was letting loose a little.

Brandon had officially hit the fuck it button in life. No matter what he tried, he couldn't figure out shit, couldn't piece together a single part of the shadow mystery, and no matter how hard he tried, people still died. So, why even bother? If he was going to die - might as well enjoy the last part of his life, right? Fuck it. And that was why he was uncharacteristically in the pool, joining in in the rounds of shot-taking, and laughing and having a good time. "Hey," he greeted with a smile as someone swam up to the pool bar next to him. "What do you want? I-It's on me, a-anything you want," Bran offered.

Reign was sitting at the edge of the pool, her feet swaying in the water as she sipped on her margarita. She heard a familiar voice nearby, the voice of Teagan Hayes. "Hey Teags." She said with a smile, the two had known each other their whole lives, being next-door neighbors and close family friends. "How are you doing... with everything." She said, knowing it must be tough with Tiff dying. The Hayes were good friends and Jordan and Rreign were particularly close, he did a lot for her.

"Brody, you are the last person to have low self-esteem." She said with a chuckle. Brody was confident and often voiced it. "They don't talk about you much." She said with a small laugh. "I hear your jawline is slightly uneven, besides that in my head you are still the brunette little puppy you were when we were teenagers." She responded playfully teasing him.

"Ouch Reign, that really hurts. You know I already have low fuckin' self-esteem, and you just wanna tear me down even more." Brody pouted, making sure to lace his sentence with equal parts sarcasm and sadness so Reign would grasp the joke. "How do your friends describe me? If it's anything less than 'so ruggedly handsome, how is he even human?' Then they're fuckin' wrong."

Reign shrugged, "I mean, I'm not pulling either way so I guess it doesn't matter." She exhaled. "Well, looks don't do too much for me anymore, but I'll say there isn't a better feeling than running your hands across a perfectly chiseled body," she added. "I don't know, I guess only the shadow really knows in the end."

Reign shook her head, "I mean the attacks at events yeah, but these last few... they seemed more planned, rather than stabbing whoever gets in their way." It scared Reign that this was progressing. When would it end? "I just wish there was like, a reason, or a message. Something we could figure out. There has to be a reason they are doing this."

Alex shrugged with a chuckle. "Anyway, I don't know if the killer is picking people off by their looks-- I mean, it all just feels too fuckin' random for that," she took a gulp of her drink, leaning back against the wall. "Nah, whatever this shit is I think they're just killin' whoever is in the wrong place at the wrong time at this point... Maybe that had a reason at the start, but now I bet they're just doin' it because they can... Scary shit," Alex shrugged again before finishing her drink.
