The actor accepted the award from Shivendra Singh Dungarpur. He is the first Indian actor to receive this award for his supported endeavors towards the preservation of India’s film legacy. Sharing a picture with the award, he took to his Instagram handle and wrote, “I am deeply honored to have been conferred with the 2021 FIAF Award. Thank you to FIAF and to Martin Scorsese and Christopher Nolan for bestowing the award on me in the ceremony today. Our commitment to the cause of saving India’s film heritage is unshakable and Film Heritage Foundation will continue its efforts to build a nationwide movement to save our films.” Filmmakers Martin Scorsese and Christopher Nolan, who have been previous recipients, joined the commemoration ceremony virtually from Los Angeles & the UK. The movie, scheduled to hit the marquee on 2nd July 2021, is bankrolled by actor Mahesh Babu under his banner G Mahesh Babu Entertainment. This is often the fourth production venture of GMB Entertainment after Srimanthudu, Brahmotsavam, and Sarileru Neekevvaru. The movie also cast Murali Sharma, Revathi, and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles.

Emraan Hashmi is All Set to Play Villain in Salman Khan’s Spy Thriller

Yash Raj Films’ search for a villain for Tiger 3 has finally ended! Emraan Hashmi will play an antagonist in the most awaited spy thriller. Audience will also see Katrina Kaif reprise her role as spy Zoya opposite Khan’s Tiger. Talking about this new project, Emraan said that it is a great opportunity to work with superstar Salman Khan. Adding on to this he said that getting a chance to work for the action spy franchise is a dream come true. Tiger 3 will mark the first collaboration of Hasmi, Khan & Kaif. The first movie in the franchise was “Ek Tha Tiger” (2012), which was directed by Kabir Khan. The second part “Tiger Zinda Hai” (2017) was directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and the third part will be directed by Maneesh Sharma. Apart from this, Emraan is waiting for his next release “Chehre” in which he will be seen performing with megastar Amitabh Bachchan. This mystery thriller is directed by Rumy Jafry and will hit the theatres on April 30. The actor said he was bowled over by Bachchan’s dedication to the work. “It was a fan boy moment with him. I have enjoyed every bit of working with him. His dedication to craft, seeing him perform and being in one frame was quite good.” Hashmi is currently gearing up for his action crime film “Mumbai Saga” which also features John Abraham, Kajal Aggarwal, Mahesh Manjrekar, Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Rohit Roy, Gulshan Grover, and Amole Gupte.

Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma‘s horror-comedy movie has hit the theatre screens on 11th March 21. Movie lovers were enthusiastically waiting for the release of the movie after a long gap because of COVID-19 pandemic. Directed by Hardik Mehta and written by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba, the film is produced by Dinesh Vijan. Since the movie denotes the start of film business of this current year, individuals are anxious know about the movie. While the makers of the movie were expecting the film to bring wider audience to the cinema halls, the movie also managed to earn approx 3 crore on the first day of release. Since Roohi is the first movie to release post-COVID time, the first day collection of the movie is quite satisfying for the makers. Getting a mixed response from the viewers, Rajkumar & Jahnvi’s chemistry was loved by all. The character Roohi is being termed as Stree’s crazy sister.
