one thing I really like about raoul’s naming theme, is it’s all clearly Portuguese ! Even in the film’s concept, he was originally named Sousa ( named for a river in the northern part of the country ) . I have thusly adapted that concept name into his pre-canon as another alias because I like it ! For a man with multiple names , they all fit a theme , I enjoy that consistency very much .
