i’m never gonna polish this art any further it’s months old so i will just actually post it. The Greys. some funny little aliens. they have highly advanced telepathic abilities and weird biotech and juicy unethical societal practices (will go into those in detail later w/ a particular character).
a lot of their technology is very similar to them physically because… a lot of it IS technically uh. Made out of the same stuff. like genetically similar to greys themselves. but MOST of it is just cloned… it didn’t COME from people originally…. (Don’t worry about the ‘most’ there)
they are naturally nocturnal and very light sensitive but biomodding allows htem to tolerate bright environments pretty well. however a significant portion of their population are spacers (i think their original homeplanet is uninhabitable and has been for a very long time) and their circadian rhythms tend to be… flexible
also they DO abduct other aliens and steal their genetic material sometimes but not in uh… a probe-y way… they’re very non-invasive about it. nowadays they tend to ask first anyway.

At one point I had a fascination with the concept of Sonic on a bicycle. As a kid I used to love to try and "burn out" but usually just wound up pedaling real fast and slamming on the brakes to leave a skid mark. Tore my tire up, and got in trouble of course.
