Undyne the Undying is the battle from the murder run that haunts me the most, but it was this moment that actually made me cry while I was doing it. It just totally devastated me. One of the earliest Undertale comics I ever drew was of this same moment, actually. This is a little inaccurate since when I originally got to this point, I did spare Sans, but the truncated version of his speech would not have the same dramatic impact, so in this one I chose to fight immediately, haha.

Really not feeling great lately, but managed to push through and finish this at least. I remember planning this scene way back when, like… after the second comic I did when, haha. It’s weird to actually finally reach this point after all this time… so many things that always seemed so far away are actually happening! It feels kind of unreal.

Here’s the second part of mindfulness I learned in therapy that helped me to function after a breakdown. If you, like me, were taught growing up that some emotions were unacceptable, you may need to learn to handle them now as an adult in order to be healthy.
