She is taken from where she was fridged. Yes, I’m still bitter about her death. I always will be. She remembers her whole life. She’s not sure how she feels about it.
Eudora is a cis female and uses she/her pronouns. She’s also pansexual.
Eudora is a third generation detective, but if anyone thinks she went into the force to live up to the memory of her father and grandfather, they’d be wrong. She did it because she wanted to stand for something, and do her part to make the world a better place.
She’s a bisexual, black woman with an immigrant mother. She knows the world can be a crappy place. Hell, she knows the police force can be a crappy system. But that doesn’t mean she is going to give up. It takes a lot for her to give up on anything, she’s too stubborn for her own good.
Being a detective allows her to try make a difference in the world by trying to fix the broken system from within.
She has ambitions, she’s not ever going to hide that, but that doesn’t mean she’s not taking her job seriously. She’s damn good at it, and proud of it.
The first one into work in the morning, and the last one out, Patch (as everyone calls her) seems to be a more serious minded person at first, but truth be told, she’s a lot more than that. She’s very empathetic, witnesses always appreciate that, and also very outspoken, she doesn’t mind calling people out on their shit.
However, what she does keep secret is that she’s actually extremely superstitious. If anyone ever asks about her lucky rabbit’s foot, she’ll dismiss it as a gift from her mother (who worries endlessly about Eudora following in her father’s footsteps and ending up killed in the line of fire like him), but those who get to know her better know that she’s never without it for more than sentimental reasons.

He is taken from the end of the latest season, although I’m a few episodes behind so I haven’t got his memories completely up to date. His fake life was also identical to his real life, just with different people in his life. And while he still cares about them, he wants his real life team back.
He is a cis male using he/him as pronouns and is bisexual but most of his past relationships have been with women as he’s only recently realised he’s bisexual.
Buck is the walking embodiment of a golden retriever, so while he seems really happy and goofy, he’s actually really insecure under it all, but he doesn’t want to admit that to anyone.

Raised in an orphanage, Rick didn’t really have anyone in his life, and it showed. He gave every part of himself to the men he served with, never once hesitating to risk his life for them. However, the only survivor of a battle and something else he didn’t understand, Rick got a little bit lost and started getting into trouble.
Until he met Evie. From the moment she saved him, he was falling hard and fast for her, and well... we all know how the movies go. Save the girl, kill the bad guy, save the world. I’m taking him from the end of the second movie.
He is a cis male using he/him as pronouns and is bisexual but only really has eyes for Evie now.
In his fake life, he was once again a military man who became a bit lost after he left the army, but instead of ending up in jail, he took security jobs and not all of them were for good people.

At 14, Alex’s only guardian died and he discovered that he was the nephew of a British spy. Forced to take his uncle’s place, Alex completed formal training as a spy and MI6 put him into countless dangerous situations, in which he only survived through his own skills. I’m setting him at the end of the series and all aged up, but at the moment, he only remembers his first mission as I re-read the books.
He is a very sassy person, but don’t make the mistake of underestimating him.
He is a cis male using he/him as pronouns and is pansexual but finds romance difficult.
In his fake life, he was the oldest of three siblings, with a large gap between him and the others. With his childhood spent between England and America, he never really could tell what he wanted to do with his life, joining the army for a sense of purpose at 18. After his first tour, he came home to be with his siblings, and eventually became a cop in America.

( mac, gabriel darku )
Spoilers for the show under the cut, but I will try to keep them to a minimum, especially in replies. I haven’t read the book, so that’s not a part of my version at all
TW: Death, war, genocide
Tiuri still has a lot of questions about his early life, his mother never telling him much about his father other than that he died. He believes his father might have been a Shaman, especially after hearing voices from nature that led him down the right path, but when he turned out not to be the one with magic in the prophesy, he isn’t so sure anymore. Personally, my headcanon is that he does have magic as the son of the Shaman but not instinctual like the revealed hero had, he just needs to learn it, learn to understand the voices, so that’s how I’ll be playing him.
When he was young, he and his mother were brought from Eviellan to Dagonaut in chains, amongst the only survivors of their people who had been killed in an ongoing war. Tiuri the Valiant, a well respected knight, saw this boy struggling in chains to just survive and still have heart, and decided that he would try to do the right thing. He gave them freedom, and after a while, he fell in love with the woman and married her, adopting her son and giving him his name to ensure that he would receive some respect in Dagonaut despite being Eviellan.
Tiuri felt like he could never impress his step-father, despite trying to be a worthy knight, completely unaware of how much his father truly loved him. Not the best fighter, Tiuri still entered the knight trials but would have lost had his father not paid another contestant to fail, which Tiuri was deeply ashamed of but he couldn’t back out of being a novice.
However, the very first trial, he walked away from it because of a man begging for help. In doing that, Tiuri got caught in a chain of events that saw him trying to deliver a message to the king of Unauwen. He had to deal with so many people trying to kill him - literally everyone he met on the way was someone he had to overcome, but he managed, and everyone became convinced he was a grand hero of prophesy.
With the help of friends (who had been trying to stop him initially, but ended up joining his side), he got to the King, gave him the letter - and gave the true hero the confidence to save the day. Literally, if it was not for him, the darkness would have won, so my boy is still the real hero in my eyes.
He and his friends got knighted for their efforts, and Tiuri was even given the particular title of “Sir Tiuri the Valiant” like his father, which is the greatest honour, and that’s the point he’s taken from (but aged up, of course).
He is a cis male using he/him as pronouns and is extremely bi but doesn’t know how to flirt to save his life.
In his fake life, he had a very ordinary life, nothing special at all, but now he’s in Woodshore, he really wants to get to the bottom of the voices he’s been hearing his whole life because - well, he’s convinced he doesn’t have magic but literally everything in the show before the big reveal pointed to him being the son of the Shaman (and its impossible for the prophesied hero to be the Shaman’s son) so basically, I’m gonna say he can learn magic bc it was one of the flaws in the show. Okay, there were a lot of flaws, but shhh... I’ll make it better.

Alright, so I have a lot of feels, but there are a lot of spoilers and trigger warnings in this intro.
TW: Death, war, fire, suicide, animal abuse
Life started simply for Ellie. Growing up on a farm in Australia, it wasn’t an easy life, but it was peaceful. The only things she had to worry about were droughts and bushfires and school and boys.
And then she went camping with her friends. It was the school holidays, and they wanted to go somewhere no one had gone before. They wanted an adventure. Gathering a group of unlikely friends, Ellie and Corrie were sure it was going to be the best time of their lives, even if they were missing the Show.
But when they came back from the perfect weekend, Ellie knew straight away something was wrong. Her dog was shot, her home abandoned, and from then on, nothing was the same.
The seven discovered all their homes were abandoned because their parents had been taken, abducted by an invasion force no one had expected. (As the books never discuss who the invasion is by, I am going to respect that as well, bc fuck racism and it’s one of the better aspects of the books that you don’t know who is to blame).
In trying to stay free, Ellie caused an explosion and she killed a soldier close to her own age. That was the moment the war started for her.
Once safe in Hell (their beautiful little hiding place), they all decided to fight, so they use guerilla tactics. They did a lot of damage to the other side, but it cost them a lot too.
The first to die was Corrie, Ellie’s best friend. And then Chris, a boy in their year they found by accident, killed himself while they were on a mission. And then, the death that haunts Ellie the most, Robyn blew herself up to give her friends the chance to escape.
Eventually the war ended, but it wasn’t exactly a success. Ellie was fortunate, or so she thought, because her farm was on the Australian side after the country was split into half, but a raiding party killed her parents.
Now the sole carer of a deaf boy, Gavin, that she’d met during the war, Ellie was seriously struggling - and that’s the point I’ve taken her from as I haven’t finished reading the spin off series. I know the original series by heart though and Ellie is a seriously heartbreaking figure and I hope I do her justice.
In her fake life, the war never happened so when she graduated school, she started taking film classes, but always sort of expected she’d end back up on the farm.
But now she’s in Woodshore and oh boy, her ptsd is BAD.

( blushing as red as his hair, laziness defeating intelligence, trying to be good enough for once ) –– && it looks like ron weasley has finally arrived in woodshore ( though he originates from harry potter ). although known as a best friend back home, here they are a twenty-five year old professional chess player, known to be PROTECTIVE, but JEALOUS. they were coaxed here with the promise of a wizarding chess set. they remember joining the aurors.
This is my good boy.
We all know that he’s the youngest son (but not youngest child) of the Weasleys, which made him very insecure. No matter what he did, there was already a brother who had already done that.
And his family did love him, he knew that - after all, they supported his transition completely and never made him feel bad for being yet another son instead of the girl they wanted.
But he still never felt enough.
And then his two best friends were better than him in everything - Hermione was smarter and Harry was Harry-freaking-Potter, and he would fight anyone who was rude to them but that didn’t mean the jealousy didn’t exist.
It’s pretty much his biggest flaw, how easily jealous he gets. Either that, or his laziness because this boy is SMART but does not apply himself.
Which was a big problem for his fake life parents, who were politicians who were very disappointed with how he turned out.
When they weren’t looking, he went from sweet and tomboyish to a young man who was flunking school on purpose and disappearing from public events.
Once he was out of their care, he did get his act somewhat together, becoming a professional chess player - a damn good one, winning money which was handy since his parents had cut him off.
He’s very glad to have his memories and magic back, but if he does not see his family and his friends soon, he will be very angry.
Important things to know: He is trans. He is a family orientated person and his friends are all counted as family. He is very smart but doesn’t actually ever think which means people think he’s dumb. He really likes food. He has several scars and displays them whenever it’s warm enough to (I have a full reason behind that, but it’s too long to explain here but basically, solidarity for Harry). He is really good at Divination having studied that seriously after the war.

this is going to be another crappy intro bc my mind is literally obsessed with my next character and I can’t word too good. Also, my computer doesn’t want to upload the crappy edit I made.
Essentially, in her real life, Grace was an android mother looking after seven six powered children. Although she cared as much as she was able, she couldn’t look after them more because Reginald is a dick.
In her fake life, she moved to Woodshore when she was five, her parents only speaking Chinese. As a result, she grew up feeling very isolated from the world.
When her memories returned, she thought that her fake life was just implanted memories and that this is some kind of test by her husband.
Teach her to say FUCK REGINALD please, and she’ll be the sweetest person you’ll ever meet - just not too in touch with who she is as a person.
Also, she is genderfluid but she hasn’t actually realised it yet, but the more comfortable she gets with herself, she’ll start using she and them as pronouns.
Loves to cook and loves children, so her daycare is very popular.

Hephaestus had an affair with his mother, a NASA engineer, which resulted in Charles. He spent most of his year at home with his mother for a good few years, but she could see his heart belonged at Camp Halfblood, so she told him to stay there - to learn everything he could there.
Well liked despite the fact he didn’t have much to say, or perhaps because of it, he was the leader of Cabin Nine, and good friends with everyone in camp.
Everything in his life was in place - he’d gotten the best girlfriend, he didn’t know how but he had, he had friends, and he’d secured a scholarship to the best college, one that would set his career on the right path.
But he had to stop Kronos.
And it cost him his life.
Fake life:
Raised by a single mom, Charles had big dreams. He’d gotten a scholarship to the right college, but then she fell ill when he turned eighteen. Instead of his dreams, he stayed home, became a mechanic, but he’s never once complained.

After his cop father was killed in front of him, Derek was left adrift and got into trouble as a teen because of it. A well respected man in the community took him under his wing, but there was a price to pay for his help. Sexually and emotionally abused by Buford, he could have easily gone down a dark path, but instead he used everything that he’d gone through to make the world a better place.
He joined the Chicago PD after getting a law degree, working undercover and bomb squad respectively until he joined the FBI. He became part of the BAU team which was his family, and eventually, he opened up to them, trusting them as he couldn’t trust many others.
Fake life:
Everything the same except joining the FBI.

Canon life:
Lady Marian was the treasured daughter of the Lord of Knighton. Edward was also the Sheriff of Nottingham, and her life was good. He taught her to fight, and she learned archery from her first and only love, Robin.
However, Robin left for war and she broke their engagement, unwilling to wait for a man who might never come home. She never remarried though, even when Gisborne pursued her.
With her father replaced as the Sheriff by a cruel man, Marian started to sneak out and deliver food and medicine to those who were in desperate need. Stories of the Nightwatchman spread, and she said nothing that might get her in trouble - other than occassionally arguing that the Nightwatchman wouldn’t hide his identity if there was no need for a Nightwatchman in the first place.
Robin returned, and although she was happy, he was outlawed before she could admit that to him, and it became impossible for her to admit she still loved him. She helped him where she could, even when it cost her father his life and her home was burned down. Even when it cost her her own life.
Fake life:
Her father was a lawyer who had risen up the ranks to become an DA, and Marian seemed set to follow in his footsteps. She was glad of it, but when she got the letter to Woodshore, a fresh start seemed too tantalising to give up. Now that she’s here, she wishes she could go back and live in ignorance of her fate.
Memories:
She remembers dying. It’s safe to say she’s not happy about it.

Basically exactly the same in the show, with no Adrien and no Tikki. Her parents own a bakery in Paris, and she has spent her whole life dreaming of being a fashion designer. She’s just finished college for that very purpose.

Canon life:
Growing up, Gwen knew she wasn’t really important. Not compared to the people her family served. But she still carved out a good life for herself, never afraid to speak her own mind. It garnered respect, something often quite rare for a servant, and loyalty. However, thanks to magic and Uther being a complete dick, things were not that simple, not for long.
Fake life:
Gwen Smith is an ordinary person. She works at a drycleaners, technically as a seamstress, and as a maid as well. She’s always had to work hard, a trait instilled in her by her single dad. The only big issue she can see with her life is that her brother moved away when he was 18 and she has no idea what has happened to him since.
Memories:
She basically only remembers scenes, not the full context of anything. And nothing good.
