Hi, so. Follow-up to my last, super vague post. As I've said about fifty times before, I'm bringing Duke back. I'll be acknowledging everything with very few exceptions, but I won't be dabbling in pre-canon or canon threads. At this point, I feel like I've talked about everything that was necessary, and the only reasons I'm willing to acknowledge canon is in the form of meta—both in the context of the series and Duke's character. It's been a long time, and I'd just like to come back to one of my favorite pastimes.

i’m coming back to duke. i don’t know if he’ll be approached the same way that he was the first time around, but i’ll be utilizing as many of my old headcanons as i can ( that is, if i still agree with them ). duke’s rules need an overhaul, and i may make this a carrd-based blog just because it’s easier on me. there’s a bit to figure out, but that’s why i’m here, right?
#ooc.#; my priorities still lie everywhere else but i still would like to have rp as an outlet#; even it it's at a minimum#; i have no outlets#; i'd love to actually make a blog for my mains in my own work#; but i've never done ocs with full original content before#; and i'm not sure how to make it rp#; it would be pretty cool to do short stuff that *isn't* included in the series canon#; tbh i don't know what i'm doing. i just miss??? people.

On the opposite side of that same coin, Duke knows that Z’s finances make a few grand look like chump change. But clients like to be HAPPY, and Duke does love a happy client.
He’s still thumbing through the stack of pictures handed to him by Zeddex. After so many years, Duke has the drill down. Commit the target to memory, get rid of A L L evidence as soon as possible, leave no trace. Simple enough, but the more time spent on step one, the better. No matter how indisposable he may make himself, the Walkers would have no problems finding a way. ‘ If it’s too steep, we can do half now and half when you see results. ’

hi , when audrey says “ especially colorado ” , that’s her way of letting duke know that it’s him . you can see it in her eyes , how the smile fades . also , you can see how duke turns his head toward her when she kisses his cheek , because he knows before she even says anything , but has to stop himself . they way their foreheads rest against each other , soft yet passionate all in that moment . she said it , she didn’t have to , but she did . she had to make sure he really knew .
