I get that this is a homophobic “joke” about(I was going to explain the joke here but you guys get it. You’ve heard Ben Shapiro go on a rant or two. You know. Unfortunately), but I like to imagine it’s really about her son being so gay he can’t even act normal or physically contain it

10/10 he’s bringing color and fruity fun into the white void(I’m rating my own imaginary version of the comic)

I’m back on tumblr for the first time in a while and I just learned about badges. I must get into the top posters club

I know that the whole making fun of boomer comics thing is not “in” anymore but occasionally I see one that still makes me laff. Like this amazing drawing. Obviously I took this from reddit(I go on Reddit sometimes forgive me lol), and the person who posted it got it from TikTok, and who knows where they got it from so I don’t know 100% for sure if it was made by a boomer, but it is a boomer comic in spirit.

Could you imagine how funny it would be if they dug under the Washington monument and there was actually just a big Pinocchio there. And his big nose was the Washington monument. I think that would make up for like 78% of the awful dumb shit that’s happened since 2016.

This feels like a dream I would have after eating too much cheese before bed. I have so many questions… Is he alive like Pinocchio? Who made him? A big Gepetto(or however you spell that old man’s name), I have to assume.

5/10- solid, very powerful drawing and concept, but I absolutely cannot begin to imagine why someone would imagine or make this.

Maybe controversial opinion: I think it’s a good idea to teach kids cursive.

Less controversial opinion: cursive isn’t really that hard to read even if you were never taught…. Like it’s just loopy letters…. In no world would anyone mistake cursive for ancient hieroglyphs wtf

1/10 because what is up with boomers obsession with cursive. This is like the one hundredth boomer comic I’ve seen with the same joke.

I know there was an ironic picture very similar to this going around this sight a while ago that got mistaken for being unironic, and this seems to be different(I reverse image searched this to try and make sure I didn’t repeat my mistake from a few posts ago, and I actually found a bunch of really cute similar-looking drawings that were not all about how bad it would be for liberals to get their way, so I recommend doing that. I also found this brilliant joke from the Babylon bee:)

5/10 because the drawing is cute regardless of its boomer-ness…. And only 1/10 for the Babylon bee, but only because they made Waldo based and epic. I wish they had gone to the effort of having someone draw him the way he actually looks in the real books, though.

I’m so obsessed with this Joe Biden fanart??? Like, he is gay and his boyfriend is the very muscular devil. He has an empty little thought bubble to show that he is stupid. There are classified documents behind him to reference the fact that he had a controversy related to classified documents recently. The balloon is there to reference that that was a thing that also happened recently. And the way he’s so delicately holding the soul of America? Lmao

(Side note: I reverse image searched this because I didn’t understand what all the details here meant(I admit I haven’t been keeping up much with the news, I’ve been busy), and found another Valentine’s Day-themed political cartoon by this same dude of Joe Biden giving America fake flowers and a box of chocolates labeled “policies” where the joke was, get this, the “chocolate” was shit. Funny stuff!)

4/10- I like it, but it vexes me.

This one rules- I love how the mom is talking in cursive, how the whole family is twinning(do they do this every day?), the subtle joke where she is reading while the the children are on their phones, the fact that the son has a slide phone while the daughter has an iPhone(I guess they just love her more). I like the actual drawing, too, the designs are cute and I’m a fan of harsh shading

9/10 Idk man I like it too much to be annoyed by the boomer-ness of it, honestly

Goddamnit I said I liked this dudes comics and he is testing me….

What makes this comic funnier to me is imaging the little girl saying this basic boomer punchline in a robotic voice, like this comic is actually about a dad trying to bond with his robot daughter and failing.

Ugly joke, ugly faces, ugly crosshatching over everything…. And this is a pet peeve but I really dislike the mouth on the side of the neck thing the exterminator has going on…. I feel like the only ones who can get away with drawing mouths where they are not meant to be is Klasky-Csupo(and, like, maybe Picasso). I hate how dull and gray and flat his house looks(those little details like how nothing is in the bowl, nothing is out the window, just makes it seem very bleak), and how awkwardly the dialogue is fitted into the balloons. I’m just a big hater of this one, I guess.

Putting the art aside- this is so weird. Like, it feels a little too revealing? I’m not saying this is the cartoonist being autobiographical with his comic, I think it more reveals that his sense of humor is…. Like this. For fear of going on and on about why it’s bad, I’ll just rate this one 0/10 for an utterly joyless joke delivered in an utterly joyous way.

100000% I’d prefer a big Frankenstein to a cop, especially this noodle-faced boomer illustration of one. We have so much evidence of cops being terrible, but we know Franks story, he was misunderstood. That Frankenstein would have my fuckin back.

And like, since the artist obvs wanted us to pick the cop, why did they draw him like that? He looks so angry and mean.

I actually like the shading on this one, especially Frank, he looks pretty good. And I appreciate the shadows….. even though they are just in a white void

I hope this isn’t a parody, it’s so fucking funny actually. I desperately want an “I ❤️ computer art” jacket in that messy scrawl, it gives the same vibes as the “graphic design is my passion”.

Also a bit funny and goofy that this dude disparages computer art when his (traditional, I assume, though it doesn’t really look like traditional art which is exactly why I fear that this is parody or something, but whatever)art looks like…. That. Like not to be mean but the artist dude looks like human squidward, and I guess this fits with his character, so reading this in his voice is kinda funny to me. Also I LOVE that the painting he did is a lil painting of him with the same expression, fantastic.
