Heiligabend ist für die Langzeitarbeitslose Edith, Leggingsboutiquen-Besitzerin Biggy und Kiezwirtin Jutta ein ganz schwarzer Tag: keine Familie und quasi keine Kinder, sieht man mal von Biggys 6-jährigen Tochter Ilonka ab, die ihre Mutter zuletzt im Kreissaal gesehen hat. Anstatt des sonst üblichen Festtagsprogramms in Einsamkeit – Mikrowellengericht, Kriegsfilme und Männer-Stripshow – beschließen dir drei Freundinnen dieses Jahr zusammen zu feiern: bei Edith in der Nogatstraße, mit lecker Gänsebraten und ganz viel 1,99-Euro-Rotwein vom Lidl! Die Gastgeberin kann zwar nicht kochen, aber wie es geht, steht ja auf der Packung. Als Edith und Biggy nach dem Geschenke-‚Shopping‘ beinah lebenslanges Hausverbot bei Karstatd bekommen, droht die besinnliche Stimmung kurz zu kippen. Aber die wilden Weiber von Neukölln lassen sich Weihnachten von niemanden vermiesen – vor allem nicht voneinander.

Nach den Trashfilm-Klassikern „Mutti – Der Film“ (2003) und „18:15 ab Ostkreuz“ (2006) prästiert die Berliner Drag- und Kabarett-Legende Ades Zabel mit ihren exquisiten Company-Co-Stars Biggy van Blond und Bob Schneider endlich den ultimativen Neuköllner Weihnachtsfilm! Die schamlos üppig ausgestattete Verfilmung ihres BKA-Kultstücks „Wenn Ediths Glocken läuten“ präsentiert zum Heiligen Fest den schönsten Weihnachtsbalkon der Hauptstadt, einen grausam verkohlten Vogel, Geschenke, die verdächtig nach einem Tigermuster-Badevorleger und Staubsaugerbeuteln aussehen, und ganz viel Gekribbel untenrum. Alles natürlich mit ein wenig Stretch. So ein Schwanz hat zum Glück keine Augen! Hauptsache der Schlüpper ist weg! Darauf erstmal einen Futschi! Und fröhliche Weihnachten!

We were whizzing through the country with the Shinkansen visiting Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima and Kyoto as well as lots of wonderful little places along the way, meeting the most friendly people and experiencing a culture that somehow balances it’s rich tradition with a very futuristic present.

This was a video I created for the 24 Hours Queensland Videography Contest. The assignment was to shoot a two minute video over a 24 hour period in Brisbane, Australia. I wrote, directed, shot, and edited the piece. The video was selected as the winner of the competition.

Stumbling over the hard drive a few weeks back, I thought it a waste not to make something cool from it. So in my spare time I have dithered away more as stress relief therapy and put together this little video of the day. I didn't realise that we had shot so much content in such a small amount of time. Was fun to be honest, no stress, no concerned clients or agency. Just doing what I love, which is making something from nothing. Enjoy my little city of Brisbane. :)

Yet, are we determined and have strength enough to step out of comfort zone and be jet lag in your own life, in your own universal ?

Vibrant galloon and abstract rhodoid petals punctuate the collection in a futurist’s form of timeless atmosphere and movement. The softness of silk, lace and feather floating through the vast of universal. Contradictions of shape and silhouette draw on surrealist influences.

The grinding sound of the elements, just like rain, storms, wings quivering and every unknown power of nature that might come ahead… the drone fly up, gently twitching its wings and carry a part of our soul away.

I was lucky enough to be sent to Rio on assignment to shoot some Ultra HD 4K and 8K timelapse footage for a major electronics manufacturer. This video is a compilation of some of the footage I shot there. Most of the locations are within the city of Rio De Janeiro, but I also traveled to the famous Iguazú Falls on the border of the Brazilian state of Paraná and the Argentinian province of Misiones. In 2011 Iguazú Falls was announced as one of the seven winners of the New Seven Wonders of Nature by the New Seven Wonders of the World Foundation.

RIO DE JANEIRO No wonder the beautiful city of Rio De Janeiro was chosen to host the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2016 Summer Olympics. Rio de Janeiro, or simply Rio, is the capital city of the State of Rio de Janeiro, the second largest city of Brazil, and the third largest metropolitan area and agglomeration in South America, boasting approximately 6.3 million people within the city proper. Part of the city has been designated as a World Heritage Site, named "Rio de Janeiro: Carioca Landscapes between the Mountain and the Sea", identified by UNESCO in the category Cultural Landscape.

Rio de Janeiro is one of the most visited cities in the southern hemisphere and is known for its natural settings, carnival celebrations, samba, Bossa Nova, balneario beaches such as Barra da Tijuca, Copacabana, Ipanema, and Leblon. Some of the most famous landmarks in addition to the beaches include the giant statue of Christ the Redeemer ("Cristo Redentor") atop Corcovado mountain, named one of the New Seven Wonders of the World; Sugarloaf mountain (Pão de Açúcar) with its cable car; the Sambódromo, a permanent grandstand-lined parade avenue which is used during Carnival; and Maracanã Stadium, one of the world's largest football stadiums.

The second trip of our BEAT OF THE WORLD project lead us to the ultimate place to be: Rio de Janeiro. Not one single picture has been scripted. We just dipped into the Carioca's lifes, enjoyed the sights and met fantastic people. One of them being Bossa Nova legend Marcos Valle (the man with the colourful shirt). What an honour! Again, it's the mix of our self-composed score and ambient sounds that make this film very unique. So watch and listen to THE BEAT OF RIO.
