Ready? Start!
Every now and then, I think about establishing my own business maybe after I graduated college and have enough money or budget for running a business. As a nursing student and a person who has interest in entrepreneurship, I consider having the subject GEE16 an opportunity as it helps supply my curiosity regarding on how to start and run a business with knowledge that could help me in the future for when I establish my own business, and I can also apply the mechanism behind entrepreneurship to my profession as a nurse. I have learned that being an entrepreneur, a person needs to be tactical and strategic, where I think is the very foundation of every entrepreneur when establishing business and also solving problems that they face in their business. These mechanism can also be applied to the nursing profession as nurse  must be strategic and tactical for them to give the optimal care that the patients needs.

A Journey's End
All good things must come to an end. My journey in this subject, has been quite a rollercoaster. There were times where I felt lacking in my duties as a young "entreprenurse" and as a member behind he product called "Boarda-go".But now that Boarda-go team has successfully undergone the final pithing, all of my worries and self doubts began to disappear. I saw the bigger picture. I realized that those sleepless nights of me trying to be of help to my team mates were a symbol of me trying my hardest to be beter than waht I am today. Boarda-go together with this subject did not just hone or sharpened my skills to be a critical thinker, an innovative person, or to be someone who can adapt well, to any situation just like any good entrepreneur should have. What I gained most in this subject or in this journey is attitude of perseverance, one attitude I realized I was lacking all along. I am really thankful for our instructor, to my team, and to myself. Boarda-go has reached a milestone and one of the minds behind that idea also reached the end of it's journey. Not the journey of lie, but a journey of of someone who is better than ever.

Mock Pitching Gains
They say that mistakes are the greatest teachers. Well, I learned that during our mock pitching. What our team thought of was an “almost perfect” presentation in theory, was actually something that had a lot of loopholes. While formulating or creating the foundations of our product called “boarda-go”, we did not put into account a lot of things that would be vital for a product or a business to start. Well things may not have gone as planned, but our team gained a lot from the mock pitching thanks to the panel and our dear instructor.
Our product compares different boardinghouses all over CMU campus and condenses them in one website so that finding one that suits a customers standards would be much less of a hassle. I thought that that idea was a solid one but again, it was just perfect in theory. One loophole that was pointed was if we have verified this with the business owners (landlords/landladies) because some owners may not agree to the fact that we would take pictures of their properties and post it online. Another one is what about the revenue and will it be enough, and where did we get those figures that we put in our ppt presentation. A lot more were pointed out and we took note of it for the next presentation which is the pitching.
