This past Saturday, I got with my friend Syrajh, aka Lil Ham, to photograph his New Orleans Indian suit in the studio. I personally want to bring back a tradition I haven’t seen done since 2008. The color and bead work are so detailed that I knew the studio would be the only place to do his work justice. I hope this spark other Indians to get in the studio as well.
Black culture has a positive side that makes events more enjoyable when everyone is having a great time together. The word that describes it the best is 'family'. From a young age, in black culture, you are taught to treat everyone as an equal or as a 'family'.
In 2024, I promised myself to spend more time outside and capture street style fashion photography. My plan is to showcase street fashion in Louisiana to the people who follow me and show them that the south is pushing streetwear forward just like everywhere else.
