Doofenshmirtz is kind of proof that you can, in fact, make one of the funniest characters out there by throwing shit at the wall.

He’s a supervillain, he’s amicably divorced, he was raised by ocelots, his evil ambitions only stretch as far as taking over the tri-state area, he’s in a romantically-coded/joked about rivalry with a sentient platypus, he’s a good dad, he once lost a fight with a potted plant, he was forced to be a lawn gnome. But most importantly, he never gives up.

“stardew valley is so relaxing” i am struggling to make ends meet. yesterday i was swarmed by bugs and passed out and the resident homeless guy found me, dragged me back to my home, and stole half of what was in my backpack. the day before that the only doctor in town found me passed out in my OWN FUCKING HOUSE TWO FEET FROM MY BED and still billed me 200g in medical bills. i watered one plant and have become incredibly fatigued. the mayor i met 2 days ago just asked me to fetch his boxers from the animal farmer he’s having an affair with instead of getting them his damn self. i have never been more stressed in my life.

Writing Tip: Never Think You're Done

What do I mean by that? Now, when I look back at my first ever story, it goes without saying my writing back then was mediocre at best. However, I like to consider the fact that I have improved considerably. I only came back to write properly in 2022 when I decided to start writing for Sonic. If anyone has been with me since then, you may have noticed my descriptions never seem to stay consistent. The reason why is that I am always experimenting and learning new styles of writing. I'm always striving to do better, to learn what works and what doesn't. I always feel like if I decide I'm just done learning, then I won't strive to do better with future stories.

So, my point is don't be afraid to try new styles of writing, keep pushing yourself to do better. You'd be amazed how much you can achieve. It's why I never updated my older stories. Because I am proud of how far I've come. Remember, knowledge is power.
