Jeremy Corbyn won (we didn't see that coming...) #JezWeDidAgain
I can't be bothered to make some salient political commentary, so here are 5 of my favourite pics of the Jezmeister with some ridiculous titles: 1) #JezWeUnican 2) Father Corbynmas 3) #JezInMyPants 4) #JezOnMyPants 5) Mr Corbean

First off: I did not “turn into” a man. I am a man. Regardless of what I wear, what surgeries I have or have not had done, or what hormones I have in my body, I will remain a man as long as I identify as such.
Secondly: wearing a dress does not make me a faggot. Carnally loving male-identified people makes me a faggot, and of that I am almost as proud as I am of being transgender.
Thirdly: I think it’s very sad that my being comfortable enough in my own masculinity to be able to wear a dress has that big of an effect on your own gender identity that you feel threatened by it. My dress does not dictate your masculinity. It dictates my own.
Lastly: I feel I am doing a great service to the transgender community simply because I am being myself with no apologies. If any community can appreciate the fact that there is more to gender identity and presentation than the pink-and-blue boxes society has constructed to shove us into, it’s the trans community, and I am proud to be able to give a differing representation of being trans than what people might expect.
I respect your decision to live your life the way you believe you should live it, and the masculinity you choose to represent in this world. Please respect that I have a differing view of what it means to be a man, and that it makes me no less of one than you are. Trying to police and dictate others’ gender representations is dangerous and harmful, and telling someone they should go back in the closet is equally detrimental to the mental and emotional health of your fellow transgender individuals. Please have more empathy and compassion, and try to see things from other people’s point of view before criticizing them to make you feel better about your own gender identity.
Ps: you are using the possessive form ‘your’ when you should be using the contraction of ‘you are,’ which is 'you’re.’ Just a friendly grammar tip.

Nonbinary people who prefer he/him or she/her pronouns are legit and still nonbinary, pass it on.

if we’re friends or at least just friendly and you ever use the wrong pronouns, its fine, because i know you wouldnt purposely misgender me or anything like that BUT if you spend like five minutes apologizing, saying stuff like “OH my GOD i am such a TERRIBLE PERSON you should HIT ME in the FACE, im SO SORRY,” you arent apologizing, youre just making it all about yourself so you dont look bad and imo thats worse than the accidental misgendering tbh

pertaining to recent posts about abuser tactics
i was emotionally abused in school as a small child, but strongly supported and validated at home; as a result, instead of coming to believe i deserved to be dehumanized and scapegoated, i developed a reactive stubbornnes where everyone who hasn’t earned my trust over a course of years is on probation and everything they say has to pass a gamut of skeptical analysis.
now, don’t get me wrong, this has caused a lot of problems for me in my life. my intimacy issues are breathtakingly bad. BUT it does have the followiing benefit: abusers testing for victim potential push me once, then run like hell.
what occurs to me after reading about the way abusers systematically erode your boundaries and use the frog-boiling method to make abuse seem normal, is that the general public could perhaps benefit from my experience, and learn that there is a simple first line of defense against abusers:
politely refuse the first request a new friend or date makes of you.
that’s it. that’ll weed out a whole lot of the assholes without you ever having to lift a finger to eject them. decent people will accept your refusal – they might be a little confused or hurt, but they won’t PUSH – and abusers will either show their true colors, or run like the cowards they are.
now, it might take a bit of cleverness to refuse the literally first request if it’s something like ‘please pass the salt’ that no sensible person would ever refuse, but if your hands are conveniently buttery you can do it. otherwise, wait for the first actual favor that requires effort, or just bluff it out – give them a cheerful nope and watch how they react.
because, in case you didn’t know this, a real friend will NOT throw a shitfit if you tell them you can’t drive them to work tomorrow, or you don’t want to lend them your jacket, or you’d rather they don’t take the last soda from your fridge. they really won’t. they’ll still be your friend. they won’t make a big deal out of it. i promise, abusive behavior is NOT normal, no matter what someone in your life may have told you.
