Progress on the TR-6 parts! Test prints are coming out working pretty well, as far as checking sizing and fit.
I might make a modded version of the Hrududu I core, getting the Hrududu II modules more lined up with the shoulders. The Cute Cube shoulders are pretty flimsy, don't want to put the weight of the resin parts on them.
Halted the bigass TR-6 Fiver II for now, working on getting option parts in 1/100 made for my TR-6 Woundwort. I don't quite have the skill to make all of the components for the Hrududu I & II, I'm not great at compound curved shapes. Once I get it all designed and test printed I'll do another modeling pass to better cut the parts up for printing and upload it somewhere.
Included is a TR-6 drum frame that has individual components to pin/screw together to hook parts on in any of 8 positions.
I was thinking recently about how "alt" subcultures are so aestheticized now but they used to be much more about your societal views than the clothes you wore or even the bands you listened to, and my brain connected some dots. Idk if this is anything
Made a mini part for a TR-6 kitbash I'm thinking of making. This is the hip mine from the TR-series (not sure what the actual name is). Once I can get my resin printer back up and running I'll print it, fix stuff if needed and throw the model up somewhere.
It's just under 20mm across so I think it'll be close to 1/144. It's a bit simplified but at that size I don't think anything's really lost in that.
