Here are watching The Owl House?? I adore this animated series and although it came out not so long ago, it confidently stand next to the old men of my youth, such as Gravity Falls, Adventure Time and Over The Garden Wall.
Why is it cool? There are vivid adventures, motley heroes, unexpected plot twists and, of course, the romantic line of the main character.
In short, the girl Luz from the human world accidentally enters the magical world, about which she read so much in fantasy books! She masters it with interest under the supervision of Ida, a witch hermit and part-time owl queen. Ida has been surviving for many years by selling "unusual" things from the human world. Also, a dog lives with her - the King (he considers himself king).
The heroines help each other. Luz talks about the purpose of human things, and Ida helps with the development of the basics of magic. For the most part, I'm not hooked by the plot, I get high from the way the characters interact with each other, help solve problems and support each other. This is a pleasant series where the behavior of the heroes is a clear and understandable explanation, where they seek to find a common language, even in the most difficult moments. I can't say the same thing when I watch series about modern teenagers. And here I felt and experienced their friendship and love.
