Edit: MMA 2020 was released just as I clicked post... 🥲 it seems like I can make changes now. Yay.

I managed to pull through with a 2020 timeline post after decades of procrastinating. Yay.

Usual disclaimers: This is a timeline of Taejin moments post. All captions and essays are mine and only serves as entertainment purposes. Do not take it seriously. Always go back to the links to watch original content.

The first half should be correct, there may be some errors, hopefully none too big. There are also a lot of pre-recorded shows and interviews so I go by their hair colors and there will be a lot of unknown dates. If I’m wrong, I’m sorry, you can inform me but as usual I don’t think I can make any edits. I’ll just post them up on my pinned.

I haven’t been able to include everything, so please go and watch the original sources like their official Twitter and BANGTANTV and check out reliable Taejin twitter accounts.

This is one of Taejin’s recent legendary moments, which I personally feel is on par with “What if he flings it? - Then he flings it. You can’t even do that for him?”

All of the members love each other, a fact that’s not up for argument, but both getting on the knees and flinging the pancake are incidents that I believe would look very very different and probably would not have happened if it weren’t Taejin. These gestures go above and beyond BTS’s friendly or family bonds.

After all, never forget, Jin is a romantic boy. There are very little things Jin wouldn’t do for him, based on what we’ve witnessed on screen.

Jokes aside, Jin is constantly paying attention to Tae, supporting and encouraging him to speak, especially since Tae put in effort to learn and memorize his mini speech.

This might have gone unnoticed by many people, but spot that little fist while Jin answers the interviewer in english, silently cheering him on. Their ways of showing it is different, but their support for each other is very much mutual. If you haven’t, watch the full clip to get a full understanding of how cute and endearing this really is.

That tiny moment of silent bickering when Jin asks Tae to show the viewers a cute face, and Tae goes ‘why don’t you?’, but gives in anyway. It was rather interesting to see that little nudge by Hobi when Tae retorts, I assume because he was speaking to Jin without honorifics.

This is the same day where many armys were excited/disappointed to see Tae “flirting” with a beautiful girl in the audience. If the girl wasn’t deemed as beautiful, armys would have said “he’s so sweet, doing fanservice for a fan <3″

But I digress, flirt or no, it is the same day he gave Jin his belt to play with and caught many new armys into the Taejin trap.

Tae being highly defensive over Jin talking about practicing dancing hard. I’ve said it in my cc before, Tae teases him a lot, but also is the first to get worked up whenever Jin talks humbly about himself. “I can tease you but you can’t joke about yourself!”

Hobi and Tae asking Jin what he would do if he could go back in time to when he was 14. I find it funny that they can hold eye contact without problems here or during their heated moments on stage but can’t do it when they (mostly Jin) said I love you to each other on GDA 2021 and the entirety of In The Soop.

Tae’s smile when Jin talks about practicing dancing in the shower. The first in a series of moments where Tae’s reactions to Jin’s anecdotes about himself is kind of questionable, or different from all the other members.

This would all have been a cute harmless answer, except Tae couldn’t hold back his surprise smile and looked back at Jin who winked at him. And then there’s Jikook who were internally facepalming in disbelief at the advanced level of flirting.

In layman terms, I guess you could say Jin went ‘I’m sweet like candy, you can eat my face’.

Rolling paper message from Tae to Jin

This message really got me crumbling to pieces, the sincerity and intimacy to me supersedes Tae’s heartfelt “I like Jin-hyung the most” back in 2018. I know there’s a couple of “I love you”s exchanged between them especially in 2021, but this one has a special place in my heart. On screen, we didn’t see a lot or obvious moments of Jin taking care of Tae during his period of tough time, but his message seals the deal that what we see is only the tip of the iceberg and they take care of each other very deeply. So, for those who thinks that Taejin aren’t close anymore because they don’t behave the way you expect them to in their shows or interviews, think again.

I hesitated to include this piece of information here, but I guess, for some harmless fun, why not? It still amuses me to recall the my twitter timeline when it happened.

On this date, an i-army created a burner account to talk about their sighting of Jin carrying Tannie in a mall. All the tweets were run through a Google translator. According to this person, Jin and Tannie was at an electronics store, and they did not approach him to respect his privacy.

Of course, many did not believe it. And there’s no way to verify this either. I found this funny because this is an extremely random thing to create an account and tweet about. What in the world could have triggered this person to say that they saw Jin and Tannie together instead of say, another member, a man/woman or possibly someone even more scandalous? It all got deleted pretty fast after a mini blow up.

I’ll give the benefit of doubt to this person, that they probably did not have bad intentions and didn’t want to draw much attention. They seem to know stan twitter well enough to create a burner account, run their tweets through Google translate before posting to eliminate chances of being recognized and then deleting after Taejinnies saw it. True or not, it doesn’t matter and doesn’t prove anything. Keep in mind do not take this seriously.

By chronological order, he first talks about the birthday videos that Tae sent him here. He already received some videos when he woke up.

This is the second time he talks about it, and the first time we learned about the birthday videos. Tae says he will be sending more and that “you’re a very loved person, hyung.”

Things to note (that everyone already knows of):

- Tae texted him to ask what is he doing before the vlive started. And “what time are you starting?”

- Jin calls him straight from their chat inbox.

- He continuously lowers the volume of their chat (lol).

- He asks for permission to share the story during his vlive. Tae was probably reluctant because he says “But I really should.”

- He’s about to hang up but his expression changes (see the screenshot).

- He mentions Seojoonie-hyung as one of Tae’s many friends who sent a birthday video.

- One more screenshot because this is a priceless moment

- He talks about Abyss, cuts the cake, then goes on to call the other members. Hobi didn’t answer, they were all really busy and tired.

- When he went through his contacts list he had up to Park Jimin #5 (lol) and JK was with him. He called Yoongi and Namjoon too, saying the last time they spoke on the phone was in August.

- So everyone was on speaker phone except... Voo.

- He talked about the birthday videos for the third time on a BE interview (I can’t remember which) and reveals that Tae got a birthday video message from Yoongi too. This should be the first time they talk about it since those are pre-recorded.

The only reason I’m highlighting this episode of Run is because of this hilarious incident towards the end. So we can see Jimin pointing at his soulmate but looking at Jin. And it was all because chef Paik said, “I just don’t like parsley sprinkled on top”.

Thinking Jimin was the culprit, Jin was ready to tell him off (jokingly of course) but the moment Jimin points at Tae, he immediately goes meek and looks away. 😂

In Jin’s mind, Tae can do nothing wrong. You cannot question the parsley Kim Taehyung has sprinkled.

I’m near tears seeing his happy expression.

Taejin’s birthday exchange for each other - the birthday videos and monetary gift is honestly a huge surprise to me, considering they’re been together for so long. All seven of them are practically like an old married couple, gifts and words of appreciation for each other are said on many other occasions instead of waiting for each other’s birthdays.

It makes the December babies celebration even sweeter, with the I love you’s on their cakes and all.

I think the meet and greet part isn’t available on youtube. There was a really sweet part where Tae was at the edge of his seat, saying that he will not allow Jin to doubt his own dancing. “The hyung that I know of dances well, so I will ignore that comment (that Jin said about himself).”

I’m in tears now at how protective he is and is practically ready to fight for his Jin-hyung even if it means fighting Jin himself.

I’ve been getting plenty of messages questioning my absence from his blog and my frequent leaves from my CC, I think this is a good time to bring this up.

I receive these sort of messages on a regular basis. Which means I have to screen through and delete them on a regular basis. CC has filters, but sometimes they don’t work, and sometimes the regular messages don’t come through, and instead these do. By the way, this is only one of the many hate messages from haters camping in my cc and blog. How do I know? They only send in messages when I’m actively responding, and is silent when I spend days away from my cc.

Usually you won’t see them, because I choose to delete them for the comfort of Taejinnies who come here for a peace of mind, and also giving haters attention means they’ll keep coming with more. But I think I should address this now anyway.

Thankfully, this does not affect me the way this anon wishes to - which is probably to make me feel mentally unwell, drive me away from my blog and cc, and ultimately close down. None of which I will be doing. Or maybe they even send these in thoughtlessly and is eagerly snickering behind their screens seeing me finally “respond” to them. I’m guessing the one who sends these in are the same few people, most likely children, someone with stunted maturity, or perhaps someone who needs help themselves.

After addressing this, I will be going on with my usual agenda. I go on my cc to interact or fangirl with other Taejinnies, but having to screen through and delete messages all the time, and this is not including spam and messages from other shippers is actually really exhausting.

Not to mention the number of people who finds my cc link from word of mouth without knowing about my blog and why/how my cc exists in the first place means I have to respond to ‘basic’ questions constantly - which is why I created the FAQ post.

I will still be responding to messages as best as I can, but do understand that I face some challenges in doing so.

Moving on, I’m really absent from this blog for a few reasons:

1. I have other growing responsibilities and activities taking up more of my time.

2. I have a made a few reliable army friends whom I chat regularly with. My blog is mainly a ranting space about Taejin, so I rely on my tumblr less to express my thoughts about them. I will of course leave this blog open since many Taejinnies have told me that this blog was of help to them when they felt confused.

3. I have been informed of a Taejin youtube channel who does timelines in video format here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJrcFVn4G7lxJ2TIAMzTzVg

I think their videos are good and resourceful.

4. Besides the timeline posts which are kind of in progress, I don’t feel the need to “analyze” or scrutinize Taejin’s interactions anymore. This is because I am no longer confused or is doubtful about the nature of their bond. Unless a definitive incident happens where their dynamics change or is indicative of any sort of conflict, I will most likely not making anymore analysis or speculations.

5. If something like Dynamite or BE comeback vlive happens again or if I feel hyped enough to make a post, I probably will.

Lastly, thank you to those who dropped me messages of concern, I really appreciate it. I still love Taejin very much and enjoy watching them and I will most definitely still be around for BTS.

What if you’re wrong and it turns out Taejin are just best buddies?

I will gladly close the blog and cc and move on with my life. Whoever their romantic partners turn out to be, I am just happy to see them happy. I am not here because I want to see them as romantic partners, but as of now, I personally see the chemistry and nature of their relationship as romantic.

You’re projecting your fantasies on them/You are seeing Taejin through the lens of a shipper

I have zero fantasies about wanting to see two Korean men being involved romantically. Whether they are or not, it does not affect my life in any way. All the moments that I have included in my blog are things that actually happened, I have not edited or twisted or taken them out of context. I only watch and provide links of full unedited raw footage/content from official sources or fancams. I will not be traumatized or depressed if they turn out to be “not real”, I will simply be happy for them and their respective partners and move on as Army.

This blog is not me trying to convince myself that they are together, but this is me trying to make sense of Taejin’s bond. I organise their moments in a chronological order to be able to see the development of their friendship/relationship clearer and delve into certain questionable moments and see how it all fits in their bond.

Why are you so emotionally invested in Taejin? Don’t you have a life?

I’m a regular Army, I pay bills, go out with friends, work like everyone else does. I like watching Taejin, I feel amused and fascinated by their bond and interactions. Taejin is not the center of my life, neither will my life crumble if they turn out to be “not real”. Taejin is the ‘side hobby’ of my life as an Army. They provide me bonus entertainment and happiness. Them not being “real” does not affect my life in any way.

This blog is a personal ranting space for me to vent about Taejin.

Shipping is toxic

These are the words of fellow Taejinnies from my CC and I will copy paste it whole here:

“I’m not really sure why some people think members dating within groups is some unheard of thing that absolutely never happens. Out of the many groups that debut, I doubt the fact absolutely none of them have ever dated each other. Of course that’s not my story to tell and I’m quite frankly not that interested in what they do in their personal lives, but it’s surely not as taboo as people make it out to be. You live with several other attractive people for a long period of time, things happen. I genuinely feel like that’s the case with Taejin.

It’s not that I desperately try to push it on others or even try too hard to analyze their interactions that much anymore. I mainly keep my speculations to myself.

Coming from someone who never liked “shipping” real people together, (I don’t even consider Taejin a ship) Taejin just seems that they were one of those idols who happened to find love within their group. There’s even this video on YouTube from two former kpop trainees and while i'm not positive how plausible all of it is, it’s an interesting watch. They basically talk about the whole kpop process behind closed doors and how common it is for idols to date—even in some cases each other.

All of this to say, is that if there’s genuine chemistry that’s unexplainable in any other context beside romance between Taejin, and denying it because “members don’t date each other” or “they’re all brothers” is pretty foolish to me. As long as you’re not making that pairing the center of everything and going as far to discredit the bonds within the group. “

It is toxic when other member’s bonds are belittled, or shoved in the artist/idol’s faces on social media or anywhere else.

Also:

“Obviously most ships are made just because people like the idea of two attractive guys being together. But some genuinely believe they are real because of the way they behave. We're all very aware of the fact that there's a small chance they are not real.

Taejinnies generally lay low and don't scream about their ship where Taejin can see. We definitely don't make whole advertisements of our ship or spam TAEJIN in vlive, because we know that it's uncomfortable for them. A community like this isn't harmful because it's not rooted in the same fan ships most fans are used to. It's not a cult or a breeding ground for toxic shippers who go around preaching Taejin, a lot of people here are actual sensible adults. If two random people acted like Taejin does, we would also believe they were real, because this 'ship' is not based on wanting someone to be together.

I’ll wait till Taejin themselves tell us that they’re dating

Not going to happen. You are waiting for something that will never happen. BH or Taejin or BTS will not be issuing any statement announcing that they are gay and dating each other.

In case you forget or are not aware, most of us live in countries with a conservative culture where society at large is not very accepting of LGBTQ+ individuals. The support for the LGBTQ+ communities seen online does NOT reflect the realities of most LGBTQ+ individuals.

That said, Tae and Jin have, in their own words and actions, shown that their bond is more than friendly or brotherly constantly over the years. For details, read the rest of my blog.

Tae posted “Get out of your imagination”, that’s a sign for you to stop

They are all very well aware of fanfiction, shipping videos and shipwars. The key point here is to not shove it in their faces - Twitter, Weverse, Vlive, etc - and demand for your ship or belittle the other member’s bonds.

That said, should either Tae or Jin indicate discomfort or dislike just like he did with his post on Weverse, I will naturally stop and close my blog. This blog and my cc is obscure and isolated, that is to say that unless my links are spread in DMs or twitter, no one will accidentally stumble here unless they were specifically searching “Taejin” in Google.

Other shippers say the same thing about their ship, so who’s right?

If others feel like their ship is real and they’re not pushing the boundaries of shipping, let them be. If they have “evidence” to back up their claims and you feel that it is justified and convincing, and they’re not being toxic or belittling others, then so be it. I have no interest in convincing or proving to others that I’m right or wrong, or disproving other’s ships.

This blog is manipulative

I have inserted disclaimers to read with a grain of salt, see this as entertainment, do NOT take any of the content here seriously, and read at your own discretion. I have also highlighted SPECULATIONS where I insert my personal speculations.

Therefore, point out exactly where this blog is manipulative and message me, I will gladly take it down or edit the post to remove that portion.

Korean men in general do a lot of skinship, what makes Taejin different?

One, skinship is not a reliable indicator of one’s relationship status. People tend to be touchy with people they feel comfortable with.

Two, generalising the whole population of men in South Korea doesn’t make sense to me. Everyone has different thresholds with skinship.

Three, BTS has a very uniquely different bond than most of their peers and everyone else. Their skinship and comfort levels with each other is naturally uniquely BTS that you can’t really compare it to anything else.

Taejin did not interact much in recent content. The other Tae/Jin ships were more clingy. I don't think they're real.

"They're not close anymore" and "They're closer to the other members now". I get this question the most. Since I don't see them as a ship (eg. I want to see Taejin together and have loud moments all the time), I can't relate to these thoughts. I also do not think that the amount of interaction or which pair is more clingy has any correlation to whether they're "real" or not. Who gets paired up together in official content has no link whatsoever to how "real" that pair is. Quantitating the amount of skinship or interaction a pair does, to me, makes no sense and again - no correlation to whether the 'ship' is 'real' or not.

Just to clear any misunderstandings, shipping is fine (eg: both members are your biases, they look cute together, their interactions are cute and you like watching them in particular, you love their bond as you see it) Considering this, Taejin is obviously not the "best ship" around, since they're famous for either being loud in your face, or stone cold and standing on opposite ends from time to time.

That said, again, I have no desire to convince anyone of anything, so I will not go further into explaining why I think Taejin is a couple any more than what I have already written in this blog. If you try paying a bit more attention, you can see the ways in which they love and care for each other, instead of assuming that they're no longer close just because they did not interact the way you expected them to. No BTS 'ships' have any obligation to 'feed' shippers.

I know of this info told by a sasaeng/insider who worked with or used to work with BTS that the members are dating so and so.

I have received DMs asking 'I heard an online source who's an ex BH staff/make up artist saying that this member has a girlfriend/is dating someone, is it true?'.

Make it a habit to verify information that you see on the internet, if it's unverifiable, avoid spreading or creating unnecessary gossip online. Sasaengs/insiders who are obsessed enough to stalk their idols and obtain personal information should NEVER BE TRUSTED under any circumstances. They may be motivated by personal gains, money, or attention. Information that is non-verifiable could be fake, twisted or miscontrued.

You could argue that I am as anonymous as that online source who believes that Taejin is a couple in a relationship. The only difference being my blog's content comes from their official videos and what is freely available online for armys, not an obscure unknown person who claims they've worked with BTS before.

"This insider info has the IG account of xxx's girlfriend, I saw a photo of the back of their heads" - if this was legit, it would have leaked everywhere and blown up without the need for a sasaeng, otherwise I could very well make my own IG page and post a random photo and claim that it's BTS and their partner.

If you want it to be true, you'll choose to believe it, if you don't want it to be true, you'll be denying it and keep seeking validation from others all the time. So my answer to that is, please think for yourself. Best, don't delve into questionable sasaeng/insider sourced info at all - these people claim to know better, but in fact they do not know better at all.

Taehyung has been consistently talking about wanting to be a dad. I think he’s straight.

Think about it - homosexual couples exist, homosexual couples who want a child exist, and adoption exist. One can also be a single parent. Societal rules and pressures play a part in these scenarios depending on where the homosexual couple comes from, and that’s their own choice to make. But assuming that someone is straight simply because they wish to be a parent in the future - very wrong.

I hope Taehyung becomes the dad he has been yearning to be in the near future.

Because we’re forever baby

Finally, time to unleash this DNA compilation post after shedding tears trying to find everything and put them in chronological order. You can inform me if there are inaccuracies or any performances missed out (although most likely I’ll never be able to edit this post anymore by then...) They've been performing DNA since Sep 2017 and there are just so many moments in each performance, this is as rewarding as it was torturous to compile.

(For those who were waiting for Jin to post on Tae’s birthday, you can maybe consider this a tiny bit of consolation from a fellow Taejinnie 😂)

18 Sep 2017 - DNA MV

If you looked carefully at the MV, that part of the choreography where they face each other, they had already begun 'playing' so this started right off the bat and as you know, has become their tradition to fool around whenever they perform DNA.

Finally we arrive to this moment in DNA history which served as the rabbit hole for not only me, but for countless other Taejinnies.

First of all, this is not a concert but an award show. Second, the stage set so that the audience is surrounding them, front, side and back, which means he wanted people to see this. Third, he made eye contact with a fansite, which means it's completely intentional. Fourth, the intensity and force with which he grabbed Tae into a hug, Tae actually bounced a little from the impact before he's tightly held in place by Jin. At just one glance, it seems like a cute playful hug. Until you replay it and notice that Jin melds his front to Tae's back completely from their heads to their hips (if you get what I mean) and Tae's laughter goes from sweet, over the moon kind because this is a romantic moment to the amused kind because Jin is completely pressed up against his back.

Of course, that does not take away the significance and the impact of this hug, which I don't know exactly what it is. It's sweet, romantic, playful, cute, naughty all rolled into one. Jin definitely intended to prove a point, maybe he's saying "mine" or maybe he was just feeling extremely bold and he knows Tae enjoys these sort of unexpected public displays of affection. I don't know the context but whatever it was, it most definitely grabbed people's attention and 'forced' people to look. Also probably why some perceive this as simple fanservice.

Incidentally, this is the same award show in which Tae was crowned as the most handsome man in the world, announced by non other than his Wooga gang member Park Hyun Shik. I don't know and don't claim that this and the hug is related or is it just coincidental, but just putting this nugget of into out here.

Most importantly Tae looked like he had the time of his life, elated by Jin's sudden show of physical affection or possessiveness, whichever it was. I categorize the impact of this hug as the same as in BV1, sweet, random, non-platonic and is triggered by an unknown motive.

18- 23 Apr 2018 Japan Official Fanmeeting Vol. 4 Happy ever after

From hours of research, I've learned that Japan fancams are incredibly hard to find and maybe don't exist because of how strict their rules are during concerts, so I don't know which moments happened on which dates. But these 6 dates were held in Tokyo, followed by Osaka. I don't recall seeing any fansite photos of Jin leaning on Tae's shoulders, unless it's referring to the moment below. If not, then maybe it's a moment not captured by any cameras and serves only the eyes of those who attended the concert.

A little bit of commentary about this particular moment. That hand sliding up Tae's arm, pulling him into a sweet hug, them whispering "forever" to each other, and Tae's grin. Tae who usually spices it up right back, returning the favor but now he's so compliant, a good boy, basking in Jin's public display of affections.

What was the reason? Claiming his forever in front of their precious fans- he's really a romantic boy. Additionally, this is the first time he's done something like this at this part of the choreo, which makes it extra special because unlike Tae who's more spontaneous, he probably planned or had calculated this in his mind a little in advance. At least that's what I think.

So many dates and I sort of can't believe I watched all of them. Their DNA moments miraculously return in Paris. What a coincidence, the city that Tae has been mentioning and the place he wants to go on a trip with Jin.

Jin looks at Tae for a long time; probably thinking about how he should do whatever he’s thinking of doing. He grabs Tae’s sleeve, pulls him in closer and sings his line emphasising the lyrics “... baby...” directly facing him. Tae is clearly startled, looks at him but immediately accepts and leans into him enjoying the rare PDA and attention. (And the way Jin grabbed him is really hot).

Interestingly, Jin chose to do this on the day they’re in Paris while particularly singing “don’t regret it, baby. Because we’re forever” to Tae. They’ve been fooling around forever in DNA, and when the moments gradually die down, Jin does something grand again, which makes it all the more special. Jin is really good at being romantic, and this is probably just scratching the surface. And you will see how significant this moment really is because there will be no DNA moments again for the next few tour dates. It very clearly catches Tae and all the others off guard, he couldn’t control his grin afterwards and he’s still relishing in the sudden moment. J-Hope and Yoongi sees what he did in the monitor and he has a rather unreadable expression on his face. Is that a smile at the unexpected?

That gaze at Tae? Oof. It's one of his really rare expressions that only Tae can pull out and also the reason why I see Jin as 'wolf'-ish. The only other time I can remember him making this face is that episode of Run when they acted out a skit.

Tae is on cloud nine for the rest of the song. It sort of gives me the same vibes as the SMA DNA backhug, where Jin executed his plans and got the same reaction out of him. A pretty chaotic and bold and grand love confession, if you ask me, it’s very Jin. He knows how to make his man happy.

When I first started this post, MOTS ON:E wasn't even announced yet. (Yes that's how far back I procrastinated). So I thought this was the finale and Tae chooses to end it with flair. Photo vomit because this is the moment all BTS fansites present in the crowd became Taejin focused.

Okay, now for a little word vomit. The only word I can describe this moment: Magical. Thank goodness for fancams, because we can see Tae smirking as he's probably brewing this whole thing up in his mind halfway through the song and then he turns back and resolutely executes it. I know I don't need to even describe it but it is so beautiful, it's obvious that Jin was as startled as any of us.

There are plenty of suggestions that Tae was trying to mimic the pose of the movie he loves so much, CMBYN, and I don't deny it does look like that, it's just that his eyes are so intense and seems impromptu enough that while he faced Jin in that few seconds he might have looked like he intended to kiss instead. Which is what Jin's reaction looks like.

Jin- I am so weak for Tae's reflection that you can see in his eyes. He reacts fast, as usual he lets Tae get away with everything, his hands don't even budge and his body doesn't even try to block or push or panic. He's just bending backwards, Tae's hips are fully leaning on his so if he moved rashly Tae the both of them might have toppled together. He's letting Tae do whatever he wants but with just enough caution to make sure they don't accidentally end up kissing. Not that I would have minded if they did, but either way, it's devastating when you see Tae's expression when he's nestled in Jin's chest for those few seconds. He looks like he's at peace and at 'home'.

Tae's Guardian Angel

Merry Christmas everyone! Have a blessed day listening to Christmas Love and Snow Flower.

Sometime back, someone asked me about Tae’s friendship with Bogum and if it had anything to do with Jin, so here’s the very delayed answer.

It’s not the first time I’ve been asked this but this is the first time I bothered to look further into it and with the help of some people from the cc, managed to compile this.

Disclaimer: This is a little compilation of TaexBogum from information readily found on the internet for those curious about their friendship and in no way meant to probe into his circle of friends unnecessarily. I don't know and don't claim to know more than what they have chosen to show publicly.

The question that started this whole thing:

“Do u think there was a Love triangle going on between Taejin & Park Bogum back in 2016-2017?”

And the comments/thoughts by various people on this matter:

- Different anon but now i'm intrigued as to why some ARMYs think there was anything going on btwn Tae & Park Bogum. Can some anons list down any suspicions they have about them? 😅 Seems like it'll be good fic material lol

- I personally never had any doubts. It seems really similar to what Tae does with his wooga squad. But because Bogum is just one person, people immediately joked about dating. At least I always took it as a joke. I never knew there was serious dating claims going around. And Jin and Tae seemed comfortable when Bogum came backstage after LY concert. https://twitter.com/rainbootae/status/1026410350256607232?s=19 This is what I could find after a search of their dating history.

- Diff anon. Taejinnies also think he had smth with the guy from shinee, with seojoon, with jk, with jimin...lmao. All are a stretch. I could better believe he had dated girls instead of any of these men. I only believe in taejin, really. If tae has ever hooked up with anyone else, my bet is on a non celeb, since he doesn't seem very interested in idols.

- Well, kinda yes coz TaejinBogum had a BB concertdate before BurnThe Stagefight. TaeBogum went on a trip alone & next day Tae posted a pic with Jin. Jin commented "let's breakup".

- another different anon - the jeju island trip was the most intriguing part to me when speaking of bogum and tae. also the pics and videos seem very domestic and romantic. however, the fact taehyung recently said he wants to go on a 10 days vacation to jeju island with the members kind of changed my mind about it - i think he really likes the place, and when you like a place why not visit it with your friends? bogum and tae are very close, i think its adorable they traveled there together. also he just got back to korea and missed him and its nice they did something fun together. i must say that i do think theres a possibility tae had a crush on him back then, but i dont think there was something more between them. also, i think its important to state that a crush can coexist with unrequited feelings, so i dont think his feelings for jin were any less. ITS ALL MY SPECULATIONS THOUGH. we dont know what happened and whats real, and im not claiming to know anything or that anything i said is the truth!

- Tae's a beautiful social butterfly i'm sure he's had many dates with alot of his friends lol (like how jin teased him in the SOOP & the latest Run episode) so it's impossible to detect if any of his other dates are romantic or just friendly dates. All this will just stay under the speculation/imagination territory since there's no way to verify them. 😂😂😂

- Now that you mention it this way, Jin's word choice of 'Let's break up/Let's end this relationship' is rather peculiar. And even though Jin always teases the boys about dates, like that 'hoe-ing' tweet. But he has never put himself in that kind of joke with anyone. Hmmm. Or, seeing as how Taejin went together matchy matchy with Bogum to the concert and how Bogum was praising Jin after the LY concert, to me, there seems to be no hard feelings. Maybe Jin was slightly jealous that his boyfriend was going on a trip alone with his friend leaving him at home. Tae posted the selfie to tease Jin and Jin joked about it. 😂😂😂 So many possibilities.

- Different anon but i simply thought that the taejin tweet photo with the caption "thx❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️" was to thank the fans that came to the Bangkok concert. But now knowing the chronology of events that happened: 15-21 April - Tae & Bogum trip to Jeju 22 & 23 April - Wings concert in Bangkok 24 April - Taejin wearing matching hoodies at the Airport For Tae to tweet a selca of just him & Jin (Jin's unflattering photo lol 🤣), now it has made me "???????" okay guys thanks for making me curious for no reason 😂 Also i have a question since the reply to that tweet was "No... that's too much" & "Let's break up" https://mobile.twitter.com/BTS_twt/status/856113742731333632 , how do the fans know it was Jin who tweeted that? Or do we all just assumed it was Jin by the assumption of Jin didn't like how he looked in that photo? 😅

🐻 In summary, most of you who replied thinks they're just great friends, at most, some are curious about that Twitter post by Tae after he came back from the Jeju Island trip with Bogum.

Tae went to Big Bang's concert with Bogum, and is joined by Jin. Widespread, most people know that Tae and Bogum went to watch Big Bang's concert together, I'm not sure if they also know that Jin was present as well and there are photos of the trio together.

Tae and Bogum went on a trip to Jeju island. This trip took place (if my date sources are correct) around 3 weeks after their burn the stage fight. 2 weeks after Taejin made up. I know some people feel that these photos feel very 'colourful' and seem more than friendly, though as one anon pointed out, he loves going on trips with his friends and this seems no different than how he is with Wooga gang, the only difference being Bogum is one person while Wooga is a group. Also, Tae is a social butterfly and loves making friends. That said, I don't think there is anything remotely ‘suspicious’ about this trip.

Here comes the most debatable part of Taejin x Bogum, despite the fact that Bogum is not even in this selca and this is supposedly linked to Taejin's fight in burn the stage. This is here only because Tae tweeted this (again, if my sources are correct) 2-3 days after Tae got back from his trip.

Personally, there are a few things which stand out in this tweet: 1. The use of red hearts. 2. 5 of those red hearts. 3. The captions being 'thx'. 4. Jin's reply to this tweet. 5. Tae deleting his reply to Jin's reply.

The rest are just a whole web of speculations and assumptions.

If I recall correctly, Tae was the only one who used purple hearts before 2018? And he only used purple hearts when he posted about Jin. So this here, 5 red hearts on their selca after their fight and right before they wore matching brown hoodies sort of stands out. Not that it's wrong, but makes me wonder if something happened to trigger this caption. The captions, obviously- thanks for? An anon pointed out that they initially thought it's meant for Army, which maybe true, though due to the reasons listed above, I personally think it’s more than that. Another thinks it could be related to Bogum, reason being- "thanks for letting me go on a trip with my friend alone, you're the best boyfriend" - a tease to Jin. Who knows?

Reminder that all these are wild speculations, nothing more. It could also be nothing related to Tae's trip with Bogum.

Jin replying 'let's break up' (to the anon who asked how do we know it's Jin, it's likely him, I don't see the other members interrupting their interactions especially since this is after they had a fight) I assume is due to the 'unflattering' expression that Tae chose to post.

So, despite the questionable captions, there is nothing concrete or substantial to show that this is indeed linked to Bogum or this is just Taejin being Taejin. Just a reminder- this is the final selca Tae posted of the both of them and we never had any more photos from him since, except for the heart shaped hand shadow photo in 2018. (Not counting videos of Jin that he posted, of course)

He complimented Jin because he sang so well. I know there's a bunch of analysis videos on this depicting jealousy but I personally saw none, everyone was jolly and there was no awkwardness. I also feel that Jin and Bogum may be closer in real life, Jin being someone who keeps his friend network largely private, we'll never know and so can't verify unless he chooses to reveal them. I wonder if Bogum is one of the friends Tae requested a ‘Happy Birthday’ video from to compile to send to Jin. Considering how tight they are, Jin probably received one from him as well.

Finally, to answer the anon's question- no, I do not think there was any love triangle between the three of them. I do agree with that one anon who thinks Tae may have been star struck by Bogum back in 2015, who is an accomplished and well known actor. There could have been a little crush, who knows, nothing close to what he had for Jin, if I were to make a comparison, perhaps he sees Bogum similar to the way he sees J-Hope, full of trust and admiration and someone he feels comfortable being with and have deep conversations. Also, Jin and Bogum are most probably close friends as well.

This was meant to be posted on third, but I got wrecked by Abyss. And then on the actual Jin day I was overwhelmed by the vlive. So as part of Taejincember, I’m releasing this now. I've compiled Taejin moments in 2019 in chronological order as part of the yearly series. It's pretty much a fansite photo dump because we had many beautiful moments during this year, and it's nice to see how they've developed.

You can enjoy it without thinking much, since there's no need for analysis or anything of the sort at this point. Of course, not everything is inside, only what I could scrape within a limited time frame so there are plenty missed out probably. (Once I post this I can't edit because Tumblr... sigh.) There may be some mistakes here and there probably, I seek your understanding. Even so, I hope you enjoy this compilation as much as I did seeing it all come together. (This post gave me physical pain trying to publish it on Tumblr)

Instead, Jin sacrifices himself and kisses the trophy while the rest watch and burst a lung laughing. I really like how Jin handled the entire situation, providing laughter, protecting Tae from doing things he's uncomfortable with and entertaining the MC back all without making it awkward.

On another note, it was interesting how the rest of them just stepped back and let Jin do his thing.

And Tae isn't joking either, his fingers are bent trying to tip Jin's chin up for a kiss. How much force do you think he used there? And Tae isn't Tae if he isn't a whole ball of contradiction, his fingers are going for that kiss but his lips are pursed in as if the remaining bit of restraint is all concentrated there.

An overdue Q&A, and I didn’t really have time to skim over to proof read my own answers. I hope there aren’t any serious inconsistencies or mistakes because tumblr is giving me a lot of grievances and I can’t edit any long posts after they’re published.

Some of these were answered some time back and I compiled them till now please understand!

Q1: we cant know for sure but i personally believe taehyung invented the jwan nickname, and ill explain why:

- seokjin calls taehyung voo because according to him he is "too lazy to say the full vowls", just like he says jwa hope.

- bts tease seokjin and taehyung about these nicknames, like in the new years vlive and on the comeback showcase bangtan bomb where right when seokjin started saying "oh voo" jimin said "voo" with him and laughed. but there is no doubt that its seokjin who made it up- bts said that during the vlive and seokjin said it himself on weverse AND taehyung said "you sound like jin hyung" when a fan called him that.

- jwan has a similar logic- just like voo, jwa hope, and ja-ka, jwan is a "drop the vowl" nickname. so im 100% sure it was made to tease seokjin back when he uses their nicknames.

- so why tae?

1. voo was the most repeated nickname out of the "no vowl" nicknames and it was the most teased one from the members, so the person who is most likely to tease back is tae.

2. taehyung chose it as seokjin's nickname in the festa q&as sheet he answered for him, and thats the first time we came across this nickname. i think each person answered the nickname question according to their own point of view (esp tae, just like he answered the which member is jin thinking about rn with "me since im writing this")

3. taehyung replaced "voo" with "jwan" when bts were booing and it sounded like voo, meaning jwan is the jin equivalent of voo.

4. just like bts teased both taehyung and seokjin by calling tae "voo", they can tease jin by calling him "jwan", doesnt mean they made it up themselves. and its very fitting for jikook to roll with funny nicknames of the members (jimin teasing voo, jk's rrrrap monsta, for example)

it doesnt even have to do anything with ships, it just makes sense that its tae, and maybe it became an inside joke or just a form of teasing among the members.

Me: I had to read this 10 times to process everything so it was impossible to answer you on CC lol. I think I get it all now, and since you explained in full detail I don’t think I need to elaborate. I agree with it. I remembered thinking Jwan sounded very unique and the first time we’ve ever heard of it was in that Q&A. Also his explanation was (if I recall correctly) - that was what he apparently called Jin back then when they were still trainees (?). They probably made the nicknames Voo and Jwan for each other and the other members picked it up as well. I agree! Making cute nicknames isn’t exclusive to just Taejin and the other members make nicknames for each other as well :D

Q2: I kept having this talk with some fellow taejinnies, about how taejin's dynamic changed right after their holiday and BV4, and we were all waiting for newer episodes of run, just to see this in a more different setting than their concerts. The latest episodes have been a total mix from different timelines, but I can't help to notice the stark contrast from last tuesday's episode to this week's. I know, there were other people there, but let's say we compare last week's to the one in the car shop for hyundai, or the 100th (?) special episode with the guns and game playing. Taejin's dynamics is so, so different. Idk if it's because Tae decided to put on a more serious face and refuses to do much skinship and be cute, or it's because they're trying to stay low. I can tell that if before he used to be super loud in his affection for Jin, now they act as if they're in two different worlds. Maybe it's just me and I'm overreacting, but that time when he wanted to laugh and just suppressed his smile is still painful for me. Maybe he doesn't want to show his bias all that much and wants to protect Jin more? Maybe one day you will consider making a comparison between taejin before september 2019, and after. I'm curious to see your pov on this and if other taejinnies see it as well.

Me: I haven’t actually completed the 2020 timeline, I get a huge headache whenever I try to work on it. There’s a few factors in the first half of 2020 period that affect our observations. Naturally, covid- affected everyone’s moods. Second, Tae very visibly showed signs of being down and in a slump during the quarantine period. Third, all the episodes were jumbled up and there is a lack of live shows.

In general, they’re more focused on recording when it’s for Run episodes. Since it’s a controlled filming duration with many staff around. Since I answered so late and BE is already out, we’ve established his slump with Blue & Grey during that period but otherwise I can assure you that their affections for each other hasn’t changed, it's what they choose to show us that’s changed. A 2020 timeline will have to wait but a 2019 one will come sometime this month! About that episode where he suppressed his smile, it was definitely part of his burnout and he was really holding back on expressing his emotions. But if you think about it, he managed to keep a neutral expression the entire time but couldn’t help that smile on his face when he saw Jin being cute that he had to physically suppress it, I think that says a lot. Jin really is a source of happiness for him.

Q3: Yeah, that's the thing that always stands out to me, that whenever taejin do smth like that, the members remain silent. Like this hand kissing, the butt slap, the water fight in the jacuzzi and also the "fight" in the train in sweden. But when tkk kissed each other's cheeks, the others were on the floor laughing. It can be that they're used to taejin being like this, since they are a couple, or they just don't want to get in the middle of it. Another great example is taejin "bickering" or joking around in the supermarket or in the car with yoongi, but yoongi never says anything, just laughs it off.

Also, I wanted to say smth about the hand kiss. To me it's the most meaningful for a big reason: because when my boyfriend does it to me, it just feels special. When he does it on the cheek it's sweet (my siblings and parents can do that too), when he does it on my head or forehead it's endearing (again, siblings and friends can do it too), but when he does it on my hand, it's both romantic and chivalrous. Makes me feel like I am wanted. And in no way do my friends, family or siblings kiss my hand at any point. And Jin is smart, he knew exactly what he was doing. All kisses were intimate, but I have a feeling that namjoon did it with his nose and not lips, for the same exact reason, because it would have been a bit too much. Tae also gave him the other hand, after namjoon had *asked* for it, not taken it like jin lol. So yeah, it's a special moment for my taejin heart.

Me: So this message was a response to this “I just had a query regarding Tae reciprocating JK's Cheek kiss on 2018 Army Zip. JK is younger than him, ok, but then the others except RM kissed Tae but he only chose to kiss back JK. What could have been the reason?”

I think it's both, members choose not to get involved with Taejin in general unless necessary because they’re a couple. Recent examples, Tae trying to lift up Jin’s shirt during MOTS ON:E and the other members automatically backed off, and the BE vlive when Jin sort of screamed at Tae if he wanted to go naked and the members just stood back and watched. Most of the time, people don’t even think about kissing the hand. Most obvious choices are typically on the head or face. Namjoon and Tae are close, but clearly not in that sort of intimate relationship to want to grab Tae’s hand at will to kiss it. He asked for permission, as Taejoon usually does because they respect each other as friends, and Namjoon bumped his nose instead of kissing it. I’m not sure if that was Namjoon’s way of ‘softening’ the impact of what Jin did or because he just wasn’t comfortable with kissing Tae anywhere. Either way, I agree with you that Jin’s hand kiss was pretty chivalrous and the fact that the other members were dead silent instead of laughing was a dead giveaway.

Q4: about the editing - i think bh wants to show us how all 7 are very close irl, its not just a narrative. if they excluded every taejin moment, it will falsely imply there might be no moments between them at all - and people will start questioning whether theyre even friends. therefore, they have to balance and include moments for all ships. some get more and some less, for various reasons (for example, fans demand, entertainment levels, etc), but theres no ship that has no moments at all. + it would be very weord and misleading to exclude every taejin moment, so they choose moments that can come off as cute and brotherly in their eyes, so people will know they are close but still wouldnt know too much. and taejin can be pretty entertaining and their moments do show various parts of their personalities so its impossible to ignore that. also, some moments are so subtle that are easy to miss, especially when you edit months worth of content. + lastly, lets not forget that bh knows all ships have some sort of demand from fans, so they show all of them both as a way to be transparent about the close bond between all of them, but also, to some extant, to please all fans. to the misinformation anon - no one ever said the blanket kiss was real, we all know its an ALMOST kiss with a convenient camera angle, we just like to joke about it. also its not a kiss but its still pretty intimate so i dont understand whats wrong.. the wallpapergate- looks exactly like jin, even non shippers said that before, and some others used the "they always have members pictures as a wallpaper" explaination on it. anon, i hope youre doing your research and decide to love taejin for taejin, and not let people distract you from it 💜

On the internet I can’t tell the person’s tone and nuance and I get quite a number of messages daily so my brain is constantly rolling for answers. I suppose there’s some truth to that. SOOP is probably a good example. There’s a little bit of everything. Although I don’t know to what extent they pay attention to these things. (If they really do) BTS editors never have to worry about how to show they’re close in real life, because they’re genuinely close, so it's more of what to include to increase entertainment or comedic factors? And some members are closer in the sense that they spend a lot of time together, chat more often, have more common hobbies regardless on camera or off cameras and it naturally translates into the videos that we see. For eg, Jihopekook who met during their vacation back in 2019. Or Vmin who immediately caught up with each other as if the one month didn’t happen.

Q5: about spring day in mots on:e.. i actually see the hug as them comforting each other. it was really obvious that taejin were frustrated during d2, they both talked about it on their ments. seokjin got teary eyed and taehyung actually cried. while everyone talked about how happy they were on d2, taejin talked about being frustrated and missing us a lot. spring day is very emotional, especially during these times where they dedicate it to us, and it does hold a special meaning to taejin. i think taehyung got emotional and searched for seokjin for comfort, and seokjin was emotional too and found comfort in taehyung, and thats how the very emotion filled hug was born. and then after taehyung cried, they went to give their final bow, and seokjin stood next to him like he always does when he cries. i find d2 filled with taejin comfort moments.

Me: I think they are each other’s comfort and home as well. The hug was, but I doubt the attempt to put the mic under Jin’s shirt was. Lol.

Q6: I saw a popular Youtuber (whom JK knows) reacting to a BTS Ship Video. There was Namjin, Vkook, Jikook (The Youtuber acknowledged Jikook), Sope & Jihope. No Taejin. I felt bad as to how can people always ignore something as qualitatively clearest as Taejin? TBH, Namjin Vkook & Jihope looked straight out "not romantic at all". Namjin looked brotherly while Vkook & Jihope looked just too clingly bros. It's either the majority Armys are "blind" or they "act blind".

Me: I really like the term qualitatively clearest. Some people might already have preset biases and as we know, ML biases tend to hype ML moments more. Besides that I suppose not everyone pays attention to these things, especially not Taejin. Honestly, Taejin is very confusing and doesn’t make sense when you first look at them. They’re very inconsistent so in that sense I get how they go past most people’s radar. They’re not just a ship. And that’s what most people look for.

Q7: Hello! I am a relatively new Taejinnie. I became an Army because of V & I was initially surrounded by a lot of Taekookers. I love Jin's personality & I hate it when the Armys around me reduce Taejin's relationship into "mother-in-law & daughter-in-law" despite of Jin being so Manly. They make fun of Taejin coz they fight a Lot. They also hate Jimin. I personally feel that Taekook can never be real especially when there's a whole Park Jimin existing around JK 24x7. JK has a special spot for Jimin

Q8: I personally feel that there's a connection between Yeontan & Jin and there's a possibility that Jin was the one who gifted Yeontan to Tae because 1) The year in which Tannie came to Tae's life, Taejin were literally like a newly Wed couple. 2) Tannie was first introduced on Jin's Bday that year. 3) Tae asked Jin if they should get a sibling for Tannie. 4) We saw everyone's video with Tannie, except for Jin. 5) Tae asked Jin to come to Weverse, & posted a pic of him with Tannie on bed. 6) LOV

Me: I answered you in my cc before! Since this is all wild speculation I can’t dismiss the idea or possibility of it but I can say it’s never crossed my mind and it doesn’t seem likely? Because an anon reminded me that Tae personally went to get advice on how to raise a puppy before actually getting Yeontan. Although I definitely think Yeontan and Jin are much closer than what we see on screen.

Q9: So, I was watching Tae's Vlive which from the night after Taejin's Burn The Stage fight. When the Live started, I saw Tae's red eyes & running nose, probably because of all that crying. Then after a while his mood got brighter. He played songs like "Can I lay by your side" "I am a Fool for you" & also a song like "Take it off for me...??..." with 18+ lyrics. Do u think all these had something to do with Jin? Beside, in that live, he took all of their names except for Jin's.

Me: He mentioned everyone except for Yoonjin. Hmmmmm I’m not sure… Tae was still very chaotic in 2017 so I can’t really tell if it was just him being him or those songs had something to do with his mood after fighting with Jin. I know he was very affected by it, just not sure how much of it came out in that vlive. I wouldn’t put it past him though, since he tends to be expressive and all. Maybe the ending part? He was extremely hyper and animated.

Q10: Hi! I am new to this fandom & I found this blog of yours. I really like Taejin's chemistry. What I have observed in Taejin till now is that they have a push & pull relationship. Not sure if they r dating. They got along well from the start but then there was that Burn The Stage fight which literally drowned BTS' First Ship. Taejin decided to sing EIIDIY in 2018 to show people that they have grown closer. And thus, we also got the So What Moments.

Me: Thank you! They sang EIIDIY together because they like each other a lot and wanted to sing together, the chance to do that is extremely rare :)

Q11: Putting my Delulu Hat off, I think Taejin's spring day moments in 2020 were a bit of Fan Service. The two, especially Jin was ridiculed by other shippers for making Tae cry in the Burn The Stage Springday choreo fight. The YT & other media are filled with fake subs of Burn The Stage Fight - entertaining for other shippers & heart breaking for Taejinnies. BTS has now become globally popular, so I think they felt the need to make up for the bad impression.

Me: I don’t see any of their Spring Day performances as fanservice, personally they were all their genuine interactions. To put on fanservice 3 whole years after fighting once seems like a stretch. Taejin has made it perfectly clear that they don’t interact just to please others.

Q12: Hello! I've been an avid reader of your blog ever since I got curious about them. Your thoughts really make sense and I've made peace with myself at finding these two really attractive together, and of course on their own, and having a beautiful relationship throughout the years (as I have never shipped two men before, and I'm a baby Army to boot too 😅, so I hope that makes sense.). Q13: Most taejinnies think that it's tae's "crush" for jin the most obvious, but I think that it's the other way around. That's why we have so little tae biased tjinnies, cause V is practically the same with every member, he can stare at all of them, just like jk does. The maknaes love all their hyungs. But jin is super obvious, since he does skinship only with tae. I could never see him cuddle anyone but tae, and his softness is very loud. He initiates it 90% of the moments, really, even pied piper.

So what? mostly initiated by Jin, since tae keeps his spot all the time. Sure, he expects it, but it's Jin who runs towards him. The iconic piggy backs? Jin again. The moment with the zipper and then the one right after? Again, jin :D. Fukuoka? It was jin's boldness that made it happen. Dna? Jin does all the backhugs, tickles etc. Sure, we have some great ones initiated by tae as well, but very few. Dimple, dna iconic one, and a few others. Jin is always constant in his affection for Tae.

Me: I think part of the reason why many Tae biased army don’t see Taejin is because they’re more invested in ML interactions. Also because like you said, they can’t differentiate between how Tae behaves with the rest as compared to Jin. Because I’ve met a few Tae biases on my blog, most agree that Tae’s crush was most apparent during their earlier years but then in later years he seems to be physically touchy with everyone. It’s really hard to see without a proper overview of how Taejin’s relationship developed. As for Jin, yes to all of that. He would cuddle JK too, just not the intense and flirty stuff he only does with Tae. I love him for that, he’s really bold. He really loves Tae deeply and he shows it.

Q14: What if it's just our imagination & there's nothing romantic between Taejin? I sometimes feel that Taejin don't feel the need to do Vlive together. Plus, people don't demand for it. I remember the Tkkrs going crazy with TK posts on Weverse whenever Tae was online & just on the next day TK did a Vlive. Considering people's love for TK they even reunited in the Soop. I think where there is a demand, there's supply. Same thing happened for Jikook. The Jikookers sent mails to BH after TK Vlive. Hi! I am the same anon talking about the Vlive thing. Jimin is the oldest of the Maknaes, so we got the Minimoni, YoonJinmin ones. Also, I think the Tkkrs sent mails for Namjin Vlive to prove their Ships right.

Me: Umm… this entire message don’t make sense. Jinkook vlive exists, btw. And BTS don’t do vlives after they read emails, or else taekook would have done 134340 vlives by now.

Q15: have you seen the interview where seokjin points out that taehyung's farher is very talented and then taehyung complimenting seokjin by saying he has his mother's way with words? this is so cute to me, it feels like a little taejin bubble in the middle of the interview 🥺 its soooo romantic and soft to me

Me: Tae saying he has his mother’s way with words really screams domestic. This, after the few times he posted videos of himself talking to Tannie in Jin’s parents satoori on twitter. Yeah… the implications there...

Q16: another taejin moment that i cant find a platonic explanation to is when they asked tae what he wants as a christmas gift and seokjin said "seokjinnie's love?" without even blinking while leaning down to look at taehyung and then proceeding to smile shyly.. also the members reactions? that "oh my god" came out as a panicked instinct, its not like the things they say to cover something up, it was just pure shock. and then "as long as its not that" and taejin looking flustered.. no explaination.

Me: I would add it in if tumblr isn’t so terrible… I haven’t been able to edit any of my older posts!

Q17: Those 2 moments happened on Muster V concerts (2 day in seoul, 2 days in busan, just 4 concerts as a muster-fan meeting- concept) For that first pied piper moment, when Jin was wearing more small-detailed shirt than the other moment (seoul-day1), it was a surprise move, Jin was off-guard and reacted that way. In the seoul day2 pied piper they did not do it. They were tensed at the end of the song. Muster 5 was just 2 days in seoul, and a month later 2 days at busan. The second pied piper moment was in busan. On the first day busan, tae did the same move but this time after he did jin reacted the same way but did not flinch and moved his body as much as the first one, this time jk on the front was not surprised he was just smiling, jin did blink to tae when lights went off and tae hit jins butt softly as an answer (it is on taejin channels, fancams). And on the second day they did not do it again on busan. The first day was published as a dvd of muster V, and that taejin moment was cut of, at that exact moment the camera zoomed JK's face all of a sudden. If it is a fan service why they didn't put it on dvd, why cutting that way. It is a famous moment, it should be highlight if it was planned. Also, the first one jin surprised, tae looks more deep, others looked annoyed while lights getting darker.On the second one Jk smiles at them, jin blinks tae laughs when lights goes off. When they did the first one, it was a problem for the performance, tae acted on his own. they had to come with an idea to clear the impulsive movement of tae. On the second day they didn't find a solution, but the busan it is like " you should do it again", thays why jin's face is more exaggerated but did not flinched with his body and he blinked after lights went off. After that musters, they have changed the positions of tae and jin. It is a heavily timed dance, they get down on their one knee with 1 second delay, you have to remember that, and hard to time it. Why would you change positions of members after they perfected the dance? Tae was looking jin most of time, in busan day1 he even stopped to watch jin on the big screen in the middle of performance (you can watch nuna V's channel, V focus). Just had to get out of chest, everyone saying it's fanservice

Me: Hehe yes, I saw the fancams before. Since you explained it in detail already, I have nothing more to add. On the surface it all seems like fanservice. With Taejin its a little more tricky. Just one comment, I find it funny how the camera ‘panicked’ and zoomed away from Taejin when Tae held Jin. Tae is smart and funny, he did that on the day they recorded for the DVD so that it would be captured forever but this cameraman somehow evaded. Nevertheless, Pied Piper was still captured. Sad that they changed the positions after!

Q18: The main reason why we won’t get a taejin vlive is what happened today. “Do you want to go naked” and “please undress me”. Something you would definitely not expect but it doesn’t surprise because it’s taejin, I think they have a lot of freedom during lives because the staff can’t do anything in front of the camera 🤭 well anyways I’m still waiting for a taejin vlive one day 🥺

Q19: I think the most vulnerable I’ve seen Jin was in bv3 Malta, for me, he tired his best to hide his feelings, he couldn’t show how much he missed tae, so he had to suppress his emotions, the way he looked before they all said I love u to tae, the way he turned to look at tae and how tae straight up came to Jin but hobi hugged him first, he might be hard to read but I think bv3 showed us a glimpse of his vulnerability, I really feel bad for bv3 Jin, cause it was the first time I saw his raw feeling

Me: BV1 as well! We got a glimpse into his raw emotions and how deeply he really feels for and needs Tae. It made me realise how good he is and to what extent he usually suppresses it. And when he goes all out to express it, we can see just how much he really loves and needs Tae.

Q20: Not an ask but I really love yoontaejin’s relation. He is always there with them, he was, he is and he’ll always be. I don’t think there’s any taejin moment with Yoongi not being by their side lol, the way he always watches them over reminds of your best friend who would hang out with u and ur crush just to make fun of you later, no matter how many times he puts up his unbothered face, he really enjoys being in btw them, the fondness his eyes show off just sums up everything 🥺

Me: I think the most magical things happen when Yoongi is with them hahaha. He may roll his eyes sometimes but he loves the both of them so much. He’s so fond of them. Afterall Jin is his eternal roomie and he absolutely can’t say no to Tae too.

Q21: Tae’s absence probably gave an opportunity for jimin to seek comfort in Jin, I think Jinmin were the ones who were most affected with Tae’s absence so makes sense for them to become close, I love seeing them make fun of tae, or siding together to tease tae, jimin’s love for Jin grew stronger in Tae’s absence but is overshadowed sometimes, idk Jinmin are just special for me, forgive me if this doesn’t make any sense 🥺

Me: Jinmin needs to be appreciated more! Both of them are comfort fairies and give the best hugs in bangtan. Jinmin are the two who understand Tae at the most fundamental level and see each other as equals. For Jimin, this is probably expected, but for Jin it’s a bit more special since he’s their senior. Some of my favourite parts in the SOOP was seeing Jinmin hang out together in the gaming room with Yoongi.

Q22: Apart from namjoon, who do you think freaks out upon seeing taejin being taejin and why, btw love ur work here 👏🏻

Me: I think this is obvious? Namjoon > Hobi. Both of them can’t lie and their expressions are really honest whenever Taejin is up to no good. You could say they’re the most responsible and cautious people in the group?

Q23: I’ve never seen any ship videos before, I first met with tj and I’m still sticking onto them, I haven’t tried to give other ships a chance or something, I got fixed with them, despite the lack of taejin content during the quarantine period, we got a lot of subtle moments and it is that subtleness which keeps me fixed on them, if there’s nothing to hide, then why those subtle touches and stolen stares, why that change in expression when he is flirting with someone else, why the tension 😶

Is that Jin’s version of punishment or something, and not at how tae openly spread his hands for Jin to ‘punish’ him. And now Jin looked at Tae’s chest as if he wanted to rip it open. Well applying lipstick is better than ripping Tae’s shirt off, another reason for no vlive, btw love ur work here, ur doing an amazing job.

Me: Yoongi and JK. Would probably be the easy going ones. Not because they don’t care, but because people should live the way they want to. The rest, not so? It’s not a matter of who accepts or not, all of them love Taejin, it’s just that they’re more cautious because they all want to protect each other and something like this is very impactful to their career.

Q27: Hi! I'm a JK biased Army

When I first became a fan I noticed the beautiful bond between JK and Jin, I'm not really into shipping but I really liked their relationship so I somewhat became a Jinkooker

At one point (maybe I still do), I thought JK had some special feelings towards Jin - Some of the things he does are questionable to me, sometimes lingering on the romantic side, however, this could be also his way of showing his admiration for Jin (I really don't know what goes on in JK's head haha)

I do feel like JK is Jin's favourite, but in my gut, something didn't add up- What many Jinkookers saw I couldn't wrap my head around, it was too far fetched (I really don't want to discredit anyone perspectives or feelings, this is just how I see things) for me to see them as a couple

I started to notice how Tae behaves around Jin, it's just so different to which he behaves with the rest- It was kind of beautiful to watch so I payed more attention to them- I compared how Jin is with him compared to the others, their whole vibe just oozes romance and attraction - So once you notice them, you can't really deny it so I had to put my Jinkook glasses off and admit to myself that if there is a couple within BTS it must be Taejin, because I have no other way of explaining their behaviour towards each other than that of a couple (or at least two people who are attracted to each other)

That's why I came here, to look for validation of my perspective and I'm glad I found your tumblr because it gave me the validation that I needed and that I wasn't just seeing things (unless we're all clowns)

Sorry for the 'essay' (and my English) but I just wanted to let you know that I'm not a Tae or Jin biased Army, and that I do see what is going on between Taejin, it's kind of undeniable at this point, no matter what your original ship is

Q28: I just wanted to ask something ,I recently was watching that spring day YouTube one ,under that there were so many comments saying jk jealous ,rm is jealous,I got very angry and upset ,then there was this reply to those comments that the cycle never stops ,try to be considerate to all the ships in bts ,if the same thing was done by jk and tae you would have said jin jealous ,so just enjoy the moments as they are , don't read into it ,now I know taejinnies would never do something like this but it made me think,like that in the soop jk and jin they were hugging and tae was there and everybody was like he is jealous , aren't we just being hypocrite here ,we can just enjoy that moment without saying somebody is jealous, how are we any better then others, I am just very confused

Me: So I shared this question in my cc and there were a few Taejinnies who gave their perspective on this issue and I think it was a great discussion. I’m just going to paste everything here for better organisation.

Anon 1’s opinion: Dear anon, first of all, we can't control what other people think or say, but we can share our opinions with others if everyone wants to have a civil discussion.

Second, people interpret moments differently based on what they believe or based on the limited knowledge that we have. So it's all just harmless interpretation.

Third, i used to think "jealousy" is all negative but it doesn't necessarily have to be that way. In real life, "jealousy" isn't really something we have control over. When i was still in school, i remember i used to really get jealous whenever my bestfriend or some other female classmates got close to my now-husband. That time we weren't even in a relationship and yet i realized that my jealousy was very much real. I just couldn't help it. Being "jealous" is just part of human nature. Just like how Tae once told the audience how the members got jealous because Tae spent alot of time with his Hwarang hyungs & said "i love you" to them. "Jealousy" can sometimes be platonic too, you know? Like a child getting jealous because another sibling got more love & attention from parents, or a friend getting jealous because their friend is spending more time with someone else rather than them. "Jealousy" doesn't necessarily have to be all romantic.

Now on to the part where other fans interpret that Spring Day taejin moment as "jk jealous" or "rm jealous", while we interpret it as "the other members looks so done lol". We can't change what others think but we can just share our opinions under the comments section. Some may agree with us, some don't. And that's totally normal.

Now compare that Spring Day Taejin moment where ALL members were looking at them to the ITS Jinkook moment where the only person who briefly "side-eyes" Jinkook during that hug was Tae. If Tae wasn't bothered he wouldn't have spared a glance. But he kinda did give them that look? So...is it wrong or hypocrite for us to interpret it as "jealousy"? In my opinion, we're just reading body language that we saw through the screen. That's it. And like i previously explain, it depends how you take "jealousy" as. If you take "jealousy" as something all negative & must be romantic then you're probably going to feel angry & upset whenever other shippers interpret a moment in a different way. For me personally jealousy is just part of human nature.

Just my 2 cents. I wish i could explain all this briefly but i'm not good with words like purple-ktj 😂😂😂😂😂

Jealousy isn't always a negative trait, and there are different types.

And the last point is context. I've mentioned it numerous times before, and I'll mention it again. Context is Important. Is there a reason? Does it make sense? Stuff like that. The same thing executed differently can have a vastly different meaning. Two very different instances can be similar in terms of 'vibes' or 'feel'. One mold doesn't fit all. Be smart with your observations. 👍

Anon 2: Isn't it hard to give a concrete answer to this?

For me, it's alright to say this person looks jealous, if you truly feel like there expression shows it. But know your limit and never put down any bond the boys have. And for god's sake, never say A is doing this to make B jealous. And always saying A looks jealous at every opportunity that arises just shows your own toxic mentality. And don't go under a ship focus post or video and talk about your OTP. It's just disrespectful.

The examples you showed can't exactly be compared too. In Spring Day, it's clear as a day that JK and Joon were smiling at Taejin. So someone saying they look jealous is just projecting their own feelings. They wanna basically say 'Taekook/Namjin/Taejoon/Jinkook real'.

Ultimately it all depends on you. I don't think it's hypocritical to call out the above mentioned behaviour and think Tae looks off while drinking the wine in ITS. As long as you respect each and every bond in BTS. If you don't wanna say any one is jealous, that's alright too. But I think people can be close and still feel jealousy sometime. It's a normal emotion. Sometime being the key word.

My response to this: Yeah most importantly don't put the other's bonds down. Many yt channels get rude comments about other pairings when they're specifically there for their own favourite pair.

Also, I agree that these two instances aren't very comparable in the first place. If you have a sensible reason to see that Tae's behaviour was a little off during that moment in the SOOP then be confident in your observation. You can have an opinion without being unnecessarily assertive or easily swayed by what others say.

Adding my 0.02 here, might as well, I personally think Tae was affected by holding back and restricting himself from physical touch with Jin while being filmed 24/7 and seeing Jinkook getting cosy freely probably triggered him.

Anon 3: ah, fellow taejinnie, you don't have to be confused, it's just problematic shippers being problematic. this used to make me irritated too but i just ignore it these days. the facts are that BTS, as in *all 7 of them* love and care for each other; no one's jealous of anyone. there are just some people out there with narrow mindsets who only care about their ships. every community has a few toxic shippers, it's just the way people are.

you're right, you know, we /should/ just enjoy the moment and be proud of them. sadly not everyone thinks that way, but … it is what it is. we can just ignore those people and focus on supporting our boys, as in all 7 of them. people who say so-and-so is jealous when two members are showing their appreciation for each other are just making it up to fit their personal narrative. (this is different from being possessive, which i definitely understand as a taejinnie, but that's a different topic haha.) the meaning of jealousy is envious resentment; BTS have been together for too long and care about each other too much to be jealous over such petty things. not least when it's one member being close to another, it just makes no sense.

people just need to understand that /all/ the members love each other very much. don't let the problematic shippers get to ya 💜

My response to this: Hahaha this whole jealousy and possessive thingy really feels pretty 'odd' in a tight knit group in BTS. It's not the toxic, destructive jealousy we see in movies. There is some healthy friendship jealousy over the years and Taejin's one is more unique than that. We just need to think a little to be able to distinguish those and also not get swayed by other's comments. Ultimately all of them love each other very much, they wouldn't have come this far otherwise.

Idk if this is from the same anon 3 but here’s a reply: i think jealousy within a group of friends is normal if its not too much. its natural too. it makes sense the member will be a little jealous sometimes. for example i have my closest friends group and weve been friends for 12 years now, and still sometimes when my bestest friend chooses to idk walk hand in hand with another close friend if us from the group i get a tiny bit jealous for a fraction of a second, and then it passes. you cant control the first instinct, and as long as its not too much and toxic, theres nothing wrong with it! its normal when you care so much about a person, you just want to be close, it doesnt have to be romantic. jimin even said once that he gets jealous and posessive over his friends and "wants them to himself", its very common and it depends on your character.

In conclusion:

1-The main problem here are the shippers and how they project their opinions on it.

2-Is there some truth to it? Jealousy is not always the destructive emotion you see in movies.

3-Does it make sense? Like one of the anons said, both situations aren't comparable.

4-Like you said, you could totally ignore what the toxic shippers say and just enjoy that moment without linking it to any ships.

And I don’t know how Jin learning about their Grammy nomination from someone who’s not Tae has any link to their relationship.

Q34: Have u noticed this thing about Tae? Don't know the reason, but he is hesitant about any solo moment with Jin since early 2020 & Hobi comes to help. The Grammy Video had Taejinhope, the only Jin posts by Tae on weverse this year had Taejinhope. In The Soop, both nurungji & Strawberry yoghurt were made by Tae for JinHope. Vhope even planned to take Jin for the long drive which he refused. To me it seemed either for BH reasons or simply bcoz Tae is shy/afraid of Jin, he seeked help from Hobi.

Me: I’m pretty sure he didn’t get Hobi’s help when he did what he did in Spring Day for Class of Graduation’s performance. Neither did he during Dynamite vlive when he blew on Jin’s neck. Hobi helped to record the video of them at the Grammy’s at Jin’s request so that Tae had a chance to say what he practiced in English. He made strawberry juice and nurungji for whoever was awake to eat, and that was Jin and Hobi. BH has nothing to do with this and Tae is never shy with Jin, he is however considerate and very tuned in to Jin’s moods. Also Hobi loves them both.

For e.g. Hobi's video of TaeJinHope during Grammy, TaeJinHope pic by V (why couldn't he post a solo pic of Jin?), his joining Jin's 2019 Bday vlive & Jin's selfie in MOTS era after the others did (it seemed to me as if he didn't plan to join but couldn't stop himself when the other's did). When Hobi lifted Jin's arm in the Jimmy Fallon show, Tae dragged him & did the same. These are only a few e.g.s.

Me: I don’t think so. He’s just more private. Tae is free to post whoever’s photos he likes, if he wants to post Taejinhope, he will post Taejinhope. I don’t see how this is linked to Jin’s birthday vlive and Tae was trying to remove his makeup because he had another schedule after that so he joined in a hurry when Jin was trying to take a selca after the press conference. I suggest you watch more of their content and remember, context matters a lot.

Q39: Hello ! I've seen many Taejinnies get confused about 2016 KKul FM timeline - it was actually filmed on April 25th as Suga notes around 2:53. That's why it has a bit of a false note - Tae and Jin seem to have worked out some of their issues during BV1. Tae notably has brown hair in BV1 and reddish-orange hair in KKul FM, because he was back to brown for Hwarang! I'm sorry I didn't send this before your updated timeline went up. Q40: There is a video by GoldTaejin12 on youtube about Mama 2016 Taejin moments. Around 1:02, when Tae and Jin are recording themselves, I find Jin's behaviour so unlike how he acts in lives with other members. Especially how he doesn't meet Tae's eyes. And laughs nervously. It's like he doesn't know how to act in front of Tae with the camera on. I find this so intriguing. He's definitely acting unlike his self. It's probably the closest to a taejin vlive we got. 😝

Me: I see what moment you’re talking about. I agree about Jin not knowing how to behave and avoiding eye contact with Tae at times but it’s not so bad in the video you referenced. It’s mostly around 2019-2020? That he doesn’t really meet Tae’s eyes and seems awkward whenever they’re close. The most recent being the BE vlive where he panicked when Tae tried to put lipbalm on him. Hahaha if it wasn’t posted on twitter it could have been counted as a really short and sweet vlive!

Q41: I rewatched the YNWA preview show and noticed something miniscule but interesting nonetheless. Before Namjoon says 'I'd rather get a kiss,' he looks at Taehyung (who was pacing back and forth) just the second before, with evident hesitation or fear on his face. I don't really know what exactly it meant, but I think that it was a smart move, as if he knew that if he were to kiss Jin he would eventually be facing Tae's wrath and choosing not to kiss Jin was his way of steering clear of Tae's fury.

Me: Oh yes please do. I was overall pretty shocked by everything Jin revealed in his vlive. Everything else was true but the part where Tae waited up till dawn for Jin to wish him happy birthday was most likely misheard. Regardless, the whole gesture by Tae going the extra mile because he wants Jin to be happy is very devastating. Q43: you probably got many asks about the birthday live but i have to add one more thing. the most touching part was for sure seokjin telling us aboout the things taehyung did for his birthday, but another thing that caught my attention is the way he put all the members on speaker, but never did it with taehyung.. he had no problem putting the rest of the members on speaker, and other members alwas put tae on speaker during vlives. also he called taehyung first, it was his first instinct to call him.

Me: Yes, first, Tae is always on his mind. And they were texting each other, that was really cute. Halfway through the call, it became a private conversation, just seeing his expression while he listened to everything Tae said made my heart so full. And the things Tae did for him for his birthday… my heart can’t handle any more than this.

Q44: I am in total awe at how private Tae has become regarding Jin. I mean if Jin wouldn't have revealed Tae's sweet actions, we would have thought that Tae just didn't feel like posting about Jin (He always leaves out Jin) unlike the other 4 members who did. 2016 Taejin Repost

I've been fighting with Tumblr to edit my old 2016 post but it wouldn't let me so I'm left with no choice but to repost. I won't delete the original post but I'll unlink it from my pinned and link this one instead.

This was originally meant to answer respond to the anon who previously asked about Taejin during the Xmas vlive in 2016. (https://purple-ktj.tumblr.com/post/613890774524968960/hi-first-of-all-just-wanted-to-say-i-love-your).

And now a dear friend of mine had some Taejin collection from 2016 to share with me and I thought why not add it in here to make it more comprehensive/complete. It's a pretty specific period of time in May before their BV1 trip happened. Also since I'm doing this, I'll just dump in all the other Taejin moments that happened too.

31 Mar 2016 - Tae begins filming for Hwarang

From my understanding, Hwarang is a relatively important event for Taejin’s relationship in 2016. For the main reason that Jimin has mentioned how Taehyung got closer to Hwarang hyungs and didn’t spend enough time with BTS. (I mentioned that in this ask here https://purple-ktj.tumblr.com/post/611818591179980800/thank-you-for-answering-my-ask-about-who-had)

I speculate that it had possibly caused a rift between Taejin which can be seen in BV1 and they did not have a specific label to their relationship yet at this time. BTS’s schedule is hectic, they were doing promotions right before leaving for Norway to shoot Bon Voyage season 1. Tae left for Norway a day later than the others because he, on top of all BTS activities, was filming Hwarang at the time.

Before they left for Norway around May 17th, they had plenty of fansigns and promotions, so this is a compilation of the events then.

17 May 2016 - BTS films BV S1

BV1 was the most obvious angst period where they weren’t really talking nor made any eye contact with each other. And also the reason why I speculated the above. I’ve already made a post about this so I’ll just highlight the most important parts:

- Jin wearing Taehyung’s personal cut pink shirt. (I watched BV1 thrice, first time when I was a baby army, second when I learned more about each of their personalities, and the third after I became aware of Taejin. And personally, I felt that Jin was pretty off during the entire filming.)

- Minimal communication/interaction and texting between the both of them in the background.

- Hugging literally out of nowhere for a whole minute in front of cameras that JK tried to help to block to give them privacy.

It didn’t seem like anything got resolved at the end of the trip, so I’ll assume that the angst was still on going.

Kkul FM is only about a month after their BV filming, besides the stolen glances, I find that there’s a lack of interaction between the both of them so either a. they haven’t really made up since their BV trip or b. they’re fine but they’re just keeping a distance because they’re still figuring stuff out.

Though towards the end of the show, the most awkward and hilarious ass slapping game ensues.

Jimin hits Namjoon on his butt first, Namjoon yells in pain and the others except Taehyung laugh.

When it’s Jimin’s turn to get hit, he says ‘you can’t laugh’, else you get hit next. Everyone else collectively snort to suppress their laughter, and Taehyung is amused for at most 2 seconds but Jin laughs the loudest so he gets hit next.

The moment Jin gets hit on the butt, the sound of what I can only describe as forced laughter comes out of Taehyung while the rest are silent.

When he got what he wanted- to get hit on the butt by Jin, the whole atmosphere is awkward and everyone falls silent.

It’s just butt slapping and when the others did it, it looked funny. For some reason when these two do it, it's outright indecent that it actually got cut by a few seconds because the next scene is already this:

02 Dec 2016 - MAMA 2016

Everyone knows what happened here, no words needed. This is the product of their mutual feelings because that was one intense stage performance. Just to highlight a few note worthy moments from this event.

I don’t know what this is but to me it looks like he’s kissing his head after he couldn’t stand being on opposite ends of the couch. During the whole speech they’re literally stuck in that position, the boldness of their affection in such a public place giving me the impression that they really just started a new phase of their relationship.

Namjoon may look like he can’t be bothered but his expression is pretty tense (although I think it’s more because he was probably thinking about the Daesang) but look closely at Jimin and Hoseok, they’re pretty disapproving of what’s going on. Taehyung probably noticed them staring at him so he finally let go of his tight grip on Jin. Although it doesn’t deter them from sitting shoulder to shoulder and hip to hip still.

Jin comes running back to the stage in the middle of their speech face a little flushed and looking flustered, looks to me as if he’s trying to calm down and appear normal but failing.

Taehyung comes running back as well like 5 seconds later, and tell me if that does not look like they planned their return back to the stage at a slightly staggered timing so as to not appear suspicious that they were probably together off stage, whatever it was they were doing there.

Finally, this vlive. Taehyung asks Jin to show the viewers his dad joke. Jin refuses. The others look on amusedly as Taehyung gets handsy with Jin.

Jin was laughing and joking and out of nowhere Taehung grabs his face. I’ve had a good long chat with a fellow Taejinnie on this blog where we were discussing about when he first displayed this possessive behaviour on camera. Thanks to her I’ve managed to piece together this timeline and it seems like MAMA 2016 was the first and this vlive is the second time he’s extremely clingy and possessive. The first being a completely public place with plenty of other people around and this vlive, although live it’s still within the confines of their comfort zone with only the members (and some staff in the background). I’m not sure when it was first known that Jin hates people touching his face but he doesn’t even budge here and allows it all to happen. I’d even say he was enjoying the attention.

Not once, but twice.

When the other members asked him to stay calm because he was all overexcited, Taehyung defended him ‘Why do you treat him like that?’ Though they were all obviously just joking around.

He wasn’t just defensive with Jin though, during the whole vlive session he was very actively alert, paying attention to everyone and told J-Hope and Yoongi to be careful with what they say because the elves they met in Finland might just recognise them and be watching it. The difference being he only manhandled Jin.

At this point they were having a silent private conversation in their own world and they just looked at each other for a long time before they can’t help but crack into a smile. Reminds me of that Run BTS episode where they played that game where Taejin looked intensely into each other’s eyes, in their own world before they burst into giggles. Taehyung is literally this clingy for the rest of the vlive and his hands don’t ever leave Jin.

At first, he was fine and found it cute but at a certain point J-Hope seemed to grow uncomfortable at how clingy they are as the live progresses but is unable to do anything to physically stop them. Taehyung is touching Jin’s face again, doing as he pleases and Jin looks pretty happy with the amount of attention he’s getting.

25 Jan 2017 - Global Vlive Replay

There’s a moment from this vlive event that cemented my beliefs that they are already a couple at this point of time.

1. Taehyung complimenting Jin so hard when asked what’s the most memorable vlive for him that year. It’s not a big of a deal that he’s complimenting him. They all do, after all, compliment each other alot. It’s just amusing that the vlive he was referring to was the famous EatJin + chimchim + JK vlive and he went on and on about how Jin was so handsome, how he watched it 5 whole times because of Jin, not once mentioning his two BFFs who was also in the vlive. Not that I think they cared about that, but the fact that Taehyung was being so obvious about his ‘bias’ or crush on Jin and it flustered the other members a little.

2. They had JK and Jin do aegyo, and I noticed Taehyung’s reaction towards both of them. JK does it first.

And this is Taehyung’s reaction.

Next, Jin is up and Taehyung very quickly goes up to him to watch him closely. It’s just adorable the way he’s extremely focused on nothing but Jin at that moment.

And then Jin gets shy. Taehyung was about to move away but then Jin just had to flail his arms cutely out of embarrassment and he apparently couldn’t handle the explosion of cuteness. Jin’s hand snakes around Taehyung’s waist very instinctively inside the thick jacket, and in return Taehyung grabs his collar, pulling him close while biting his lips.

Basically Jin went to Taehyung for comfort to ease his embarrassment while Tae was about to kiss him because he was too cute. In that moment it looked very natural and subconsciously done that the whole gesture seems to be something they’re used to doing in private.

But of course they don’t. Jimin was watching them the whole time and they sort of snap out of their own world and turn to look at him sheepishly. Also, Taehyung’s hand is still on Jin’s collar.

Just to add on, not long after was the YNWA preview show and Jin’s graduation vlive happened.

13 Feb 2017 - YNWA preview show

Where Taehyung is absolutely restless about Jin kissing Namjoon’s cheek as part of the game’s punishment. Since I’m on the topic I’m just going to include this moment here as well lol.

I felt really bad for laughing because it was really funny but Taehyung was really so restless and conflicted. He was still all fine and laughing when Jin lost and it was decided that he would kiss Namjoon. He can’t help but laugh because the irony of the whole situation was that the punishment came from Yoongi who was in the same team as Jin, until they start to get into position and the gravity of the situation finally sinks in.Then he slowly realises that he doesn’t like it but he doesn’t know how to stop it from happening.

He starts touching his ears, neck and nape, hands fidgeting. He even holds his chest, presumably feeling his heart beat going faster even though he’s not the one getting or doing the punishment. And the hair flick. Taehyung does his iconic hair flick when he’s stressed, restless, jealous or annoyed. It’s like a standard reaction for him and he can’t stop himself from reacting physically.

At the end though, no matter how annoyed he was he still watches the whole thing and walks away laughing, although I’ll never really know if it’s forced laughter or relief that it’s over and done with.

22 Feb 2017 - Jin’s graduation vlive

Taehyung licking the cream of Jin’s lips like it’s the most normal thing he’s done, of course. As usual, Namjoon and Jimin’s expressions are always the funniest when these two lovebirds show their PDA.

My answer to the anon who asked about this ages ago remains the same: Based on the timeline in this post, I think that Xmas vlive was around the time they newly defined their relationship status and thus was in their ‘honeymoon’ period so they couldn’t keep their hands off each other. Specifically Taehyung, but it’s not like Jin wasn’t enjoying being on the receiving end. And the events after just showed how clingy and couple-ish they became and their interactions are more mutually intimate.

While adding stuff to this timeline, I thought about the House of Army moment a lot. It kind of fits? The explosive tension between Kkul FM and BST era, that plane selca in between. If my guess is right, then they probably started between Jul to Sep 2016? Maybe. I don't know. That’s what I think anyway.

You wanna go naked?

I originally intended to push all my posts to Dec, it's only 9 days away anyway and it's not even complete yet. But I was completely overloaded due to the release of BE yesterday while working. So as I tried to watch the vlive secretly, my poor brain had a difficult time trying to process what was going on here. I just couldn't not. So here goes: Taejin wilding on vlive again, with millions of fans watching.

I know that the whole highlight was "you wanna go naked?", but after re-watching, I realised that there was a lot of details that were left unappreciated. I am here to express my appreciation for the entire package. Let's hype this while we're still high from BE and streaming.

Disclaimer: This is all for my own entertainment, do not take it seriously. Go and watch the entire thing on V app. It's now up but without subtitles. Apparently I have to do this all the time because some people don't read.

It all starts when Tae is assigned to be the makeup artist. He does his job rightfully, starting with Hoseok who doesn't resist, putting tinted lipbalm on him.

Then he puts it on Namjoon, who doesn't resist either.

Namseok came out pretty with the makeup on while Tae puts it on JK.

When it comes to his soulmate, he faces some resistance. But of course, Tae doesn't care, he does his job no matter what, manhandling Jimin who repeatedly tries to push him away, "Not on my philtrum" and "I'll see you after this." Hoseok can be heard asking them to please hurry up.

One more because they're too cute, look at them giggling as they squabble. Of course Tae succeeds in the end.

Not forgetting Yoongi :(

Jin 'hiding' behind Tae to avoid getting the lipbalm on himself.

But Jimin, why did he smear the lipbalm on like that?! He did Yoongi so dirty lol. They're all laughing in the background while Namjoon asks "Who punched Yoongi-hyung?!"

I wonder what Yoongi was thinking while he watched all this.

After Yoongi, makeup artist Tae deems his job done, leaving Jin untouched. Not sure why. Maybe he didn't want to because he already knows he will face resistance anyway. Or maybe he wanted to match Jin with makeup-less faces. Who knows?

But, JK doesn't agree and feels that it's only fair that everyone should have the same lipbalm on. So he grabs the lipbalm and tries to put it on Jin, but gets rejected instantly.

Jin's excuse was: No no you're not in charge of makeup.

So the baby dutifully looks for the makeup artist to get him to do his job properly. The program won't start till he does.

However, the makeup artist misunderstands and says "No no I'm in charge of makeup so I won't be having any on myself."

But JK doesn't relent, everyone should be fair, he thinks. So he explains, "No no you haven't done it for Jin yet."

Makeup artist agrees, after having skipped him the first round. And here the drama begins.

I don't know how 'I don't you to put lipbalm ugly on my face' translates to "Do you want to go naked?"

Yes Jin, abuse your power as the stylist, why not? But of all things, to ask him if he wants to go naked if he dares to even land the lipbalm on his lips. I honestly thought he should have known better than to challenge Tae with this. Also, Jimin's laughter here is music to my ears.

Instead of helping to hold Jin down, the rest of them stays back and simply watch. And laughs as Taejin fights it out. Oh, and that hand reaching out to hold his neck. Hmmmm.

Of course, Kim Taehyung wouldn't be Kim Taehyung if he does not manhandle the Kim Seokjin. The way he easily pushes away Jin's hand like it's nothing, relentlessly coming at him with the lipbalm. He's determined.

Spot Namjoon behind, moving away, watching them, all the while holding Yoongi's cardboard cutout behind him the entire time.

I don't know when or if Jin did accidentally bump into his mic while they were quarelling, but here he's touching his mic/shirt button(?). I don't know. It was fun to see Jin aggressively pointing with his finger like that at someone, still asking "DO YOU WANT TO GO NAKED?" Does anyone remember if he normally does that? (The finger pointing at something part, not the asking people to get naked part)

Final efforts to resist, and still none of the members are stepping forward to hold Jin down lol. Jimin is still laughing there. And Tae once again tries to pull Jin closer.

Alas, Tae finally decides okay, he'll go naked then. Even offering himself for Jin to take off his clothes for him. I love his bravery and conviction to allow Jin to strip him just because he's trying to put on some lipbalm. Arms stretched out and everything.

"Would you take if off for me?" The way he professionally handles Jin.

If you recall, "He likes just the right amount of attention," and "who are you to decide?"

I'm just laughing and facepalming while I type all this out, look at Jin's eyes, originally on Tae's face, now trailed down his body... what was he thinking? Considering taking up the offer? Imagining Tae naked perhaps? I wouldn't know, but the poor man glitched. Thus Tae won this round. Tae 1:0 Jin.

Tae immediately seizes the opportunity when Jin glitches to move in with the lipbalm, and Jin.... closes his eyes. Scroll up, and you'll see how differently he holds the other members and how he holds Jin here. Fingers curled around his nape.

And that pinky pushing into his soft cheek, hand still on his nape.

Poor Jinnie is still glitching, his left hand nearly reached out to hold Tae's waist despite his resistance earlier.

So he barely moves it away but his right hand is still on Tae's waist lol. Awkward much? I'm still laughing at the other members and Jin's weird arm angle.

When he's done, Jin is still trying to snap out of it. He doesn't know what to do with his hands after barely holding back from putting them on Tae's waist, so he quickly stuffs them in his pockets.

If you watched the entire thing carefully, see how dazed Jin is here. He looks like he's forgotten there are cameras around and is still trying to snap out of it. And probably trying to process fact that he just asked if Tae wants to go naked while millions of us are watching. And also Tae accepting and offering himself.

Sure, he's the one who started it, but he looks pretty shocked at what just happened lol.

Finally, even the makeup artist himself doesn't get to escape. Not sure if he instantly changed his mind because he got to put lipbalm on Jin's face. He's held in place by Hoseok while Jimin watches JK put the lipbalm on him.

Not forgetting this adorable domestic snippet of Tae feeding the tangerine to Jin.

And this chaotic king just opening his mouth for Tae.

Btw, my top favourite songs right now are Life Goes On, Fly To My Room, Blue and Grey. And Stay.

Also, I'm in love with their positions in the car in the MV. Taejin sitting in the front seats together. They've been mostly next to each other in this comeback, it's so soft and perhaps that's how BTS sees them in their daily life.

This comeback vlive is another reminder we're never getting that Taejin vlive. Okay, I let it all out, that's all :D

1 - Do you think the taejin spring day moment in mots on:e where tae literally scurried into jin's arms and standing and swinging in their own world are like them taking a revenge for making them stand at the opposite sides of the stage at bangbangcon+++ given up all the hopes of seeing anymore taejin moments in on:e. but then during no more dream tae didnt let go of jin's hand. then spring day happened again and when tae went or jin's belly >_< I cant just contain myself. pretty much when i thought ok thats it for us we arent getting more then tae melted into jin's arms, this literally made me cry. and then finally during the last bow they stood side by side...ahh my tj heart finds its peace now... what was your reaction of mots on:e

Me - Nope. Don’t think it’s that deep. They were a lot more relaxed and playful on day 2 to have skinship with each other on stage. As usual, Taejin’s moments tend to hit us like a truck when we least expect it. Time and time again, they’ve showed us how significant and special Spring Day is for the both of them. I watched both days, absolutely loved it. Although I’m just waiting for a proper offline concert soon :(

2 - My Mom too is an Army. JK is her bias. Jin & Yoongi took the longest to impress her. She knows that Tae is my fav. She has watched all BTS MVs, stage performances, some run episodes (I watched all), full Soop series, interviews, etc but not any Exclusive ship videos. She could tell about Jikook very early. Last night, she was praising all but forgot Jin. When I got offended, the most unexpected thing happened. She said " Jin is talented & Tae can even Die for him". She could tell🤤 Taejin? When my Mom said those words " Tae can even Die or Give away His Life for Jin", I couldn't respond for a while. I was so emotionally surprised. There are times when I doubt Taejin ( till mid 2019, I used to get confused with Jin's gay panic) then Jin became bolder & more expressive & Tae became subtle only around Jin While he continued to show open affection to JK & others. I doubted Tae's feelings towards Jin. I guess married people know better. My Mom's words truly surprised me.

Me - Jin gay panicking hahaha. It’s vice versa, both of them love each other so much that they’d protect each other with their lives. And we’ve seen it plenty of times. Personally I can’t tell with Jikook at all, they confuse me a lot. Perhaps she knows more since JK is her bias?

3 - As much as frustrated we taejinnies are that taejin never get to share a room do you think anything will happen even if they are together? like throughout the nights every room has cameras set up and they are recorded so probably except sleep-hugging i dont think they would be able to/allowed to do anything right? The closest time they can have in private is the tent where there is no camera inside. luckily BV3 already gave us that moment and tae also said it was spcl for him. what do you think?

Me - Well… I don’t expect anything except some cute interactions and maybe some cuddling? They’re all adults and know better. As for the tent, that is one special unusual exception. Namjoon sitting outside, the other tent wide open, Taejin’s tent zipped shut tight, the odd movements of the tent, and “I’ll never forget that night. It was special”... I have my guesses but the truth remains a big fat “?”.

4 - I am totally in love with your blog. What a waste I dint find it earlier!! I have two things to ask...1. I have read that you write slowly but eventually you are going to complete the 2018 19 20 chronology too right? I just cant wait after seeing the previous years compilation.

Me - Eventually I will, hehe. There’s just… so much to archive in chronological order. Don’t worry, my blog isn’t going anywhere!

5 - Srry fr asking ths late I ws jst going through ur posts nd suddenly one qs striked me. I fully agree on the taejin chronology u posted so it is most likely they hv definitely grown a lot intimate by 2017 fr sure. BV3 took place in 2018. During tht chat wth hobi jin seemed to be aware of whn T will be arriving so they must hv been in cntct. Even they went fr tht water activity together. They got plenty of chances fr J to let T know his room as J knew how T's room will be decided so why didnt he?

Me - I’m not sure either. I think they all just played by the rules. If Tae knew and marched straight into his room, it might have been obvious and the others might have been able to tell that he snitched? Their arrangement in BV3 is a game meant to make the show interesting so there are rules in place. Probably.

6 - In one of your post you said you visited bts concert at jamsil stadium where the so what chest bump happened and it just finished off in a whiff. Apart from so what did you notice any other taejin moment during the show cz the concert videos we see only focuses on the one who is speaking while the rest are not shown specifically. So when they were not on main screen did you notice any cute or subtle moments live?

Me - I saw Tae or Jin hovering around the other a couple of times near my area but besides that nothing much. Also it was my first BTS concert. I was focused on just enjoying it as a whole. There was just so much going on and it all happened so fast I didn’t really have time to pause and think about Taejin except during So What.

7 - While going though your posts I found out your bias was yoongi at first. But judging by your elaborate blog how you dont miss out taejin moments I would like to ask has your bias changed or is it still yoongi?

Me - After a lengthy discussion with my army friend, we came to the conclusion that Yoongi is still the closest to my heart. His lyrics make me cry the hardest. And also keeps me going and moving forward.

8 - Would love to read about a compilation of all taejin spring day and dna moments like the one you made of so what!!

Me - I would love to stop procrastinating and do that too…

9 - What are your top ten bts songs? I mean for me it happened many times after a special moment happens in any song during their performance automatically that song sticks into my head more and thus it climbs up towards the top my favourite bts songs list. This may be just only my heavily taejin biased mind but dis this ever happen to you also?

Me - Top ten… is really hard. Impossible to choose. Hmmm I fell in love with Spring Day and So What before I knew about Taejin.

10 - What's your take on taejin frequently matching clothes on stage during concerts? Yes all of them get similar outfits but I find taejin clothes to be almost giving out couple vibes on stage even. Lol. Probably I am at highest level of delulu.

Me - Yeah, recently they all match more so it’s harder to say but of course my Taejin bias self would say they have a couple vibe too hahaha.

11 - Do you ever daydream like maybe BH is cutting off all the taejin videos not to expose them now but all are actually aware of them even officially and someday when they come out maybe BH will release all these cut moments or make it into a lovely dvd? Yeah just like taejin live in their own bubble world amidst thousands watching them I am going to think about this in my bubble world now.

Me - Lol I shall not pop your Taejin bubble. Have fun xD

12 - Hey, I was wondering what exactly you meant when Taejin got physically involved with each other before labeling their relationship?? I’ve seen a few times on your blog and I was wondering what that meant.

Me - I meant they may have been friends with benefits before they decided to be exclusive- boyfriends/lovers. (Again please take this with a grain of salt, this is only my view/perspective based on what I’ve observed)

13 - Was rewatching BV3 and noticed something what do you think about this please tell-When V arrived in malta he was wearing a black tee and he also had no money to buy anything. When he went for the water skiing he wore 'I love malta' tee which was the same as jin and suga bought before. Since suga left maybe he gave his tee to V but considering how he had an emergency and V never went to the accomodation till night it doesnt seem plausible. Can it be jin who bought the tee for V and gave it to him? Secondly it always seems V and Jin keep in touch via texting during these shoots(jin knowing when V will arrive, V losing his bag, etc) why didnt just Jin let V know the room jinmin were sharing since even after discussing so much about it over lunch taejin even went together for the water ski so there must have been plenty chances. This pretty much makes me think the room arrangements are always scripted, What do you say?

Me - Never thought of that before. Could be? Yoon/jin could have given him the shirt to change into since he was going to do water activities. I don’t think it’s scripted (or maybe to a minor extent to keep the entertainment value) but the boys themselves choose not to interfere with the game?

14 - What are your thoughts about YoonJin? They really vibe well together imo. Ofc, I love Taejin; otherwise, I wouldn't be here. I was just wondering because I saw you say YoonJin had a special place in your heart on Curious Cat.

Me - Yoonjin’s soulmate-ry is something I related to on a personal level. Also because my MBTI type is the same as theirs, INTP. They silently but fiercely protect and appreciate each other. They love each other like old married couples do, I feel. A lot of trust, admiration, can easily fall back and rely on one another. They have a really good spiritual and mature connection? A very stable and compatible pair. And also love the fact that Yoongi becomes babier around Jin.

15 - "what are we going to do taehyung-ah? do you want me to tell them to interview you?" this is one of the softest taejin moments ever. seokjin wanted to cheer taehyung up so bad and he was willing to go to the interviewers and ask them to interview taehyung just so he could say the ment he prepared. he then proceeded to interview him himself just to make him smile and it worked and taehyung stopped sulking and seokjin had the sweetest smile and proudest face. he loves his taehyungie so much 😭

Me - And he has constantly been doing so throughout the years. It’s so soft, Jin is that sort of boyfriend who would jump through hoops to make sure Tae’s happy. I love them so much.

16 - seokjin asking taehyung to look pretty for the camera and tae doesnt want to at first but when seokjin counts down he does it with no second thoughts.. and seokjin's fond smile.. theyre in love

Me - They’re very in love. Also Tae said a lot so why was the sound muted when he was ‘arguing’ with Jin?

17 - something about the way taehyung called seokjin jwan 😭 he said it in such a soft way with the biggest smile and he is just the babiest at this point.. and the way he said that instead of boo because it sound like voo and he was so happy with his little joke PLEASE this was so so so cute and jwan is such a cute nickname

Me - Biggest baby with his puppy round eyes. If they ever go on vlive and start calling each other Voo and Jwan consider me dead.

18 - i love how seokjin always makes sure taehyung gets to say what he wanted to no matter what, and he does it so naturally.. he will urge him during interviews, during lives, etc, he will practice with him, hype him, pretend to interview him and will turn the whole world around just so taehyung will get to say his words. and he is so proud when he does.. i also love how taehyung practices with seokjin, he knows he is both rooting for him and pretty fluent in english. i love these moments so much 🥺

Me - Me too. They make sure they express how much they love and support each other no matter what and going the extra mile to show it. They’re so incredibly soft.

19 - i do believe taejin are dating at this point but even if theyre not theres no doubt in me that taehyung is head over hills in love with seokjin, and seokjin has the biggest soft spot ever for taehyung and his eyes are dripping with fondness. either way, taejin is beautiful.

Me - Either way, Taejin is so in love. Beautiful couple in and out.

20 - I do think BH treats taejin differently compared to other ships,but I feel the more they cut taejin scenes, the more obvious they’re making it. Yoongi can hold Tae’s belt but Jin can’t and the abrupt cut is way too obvious. I wonder how their editing goes like how they decide which scenes to include and all, it still amuses me how they cut off the scene where Jin was abt to hold Tae’s belt but included the scene where tae calls Jin husband, btw love ur work, stay happy and safe

Me - I wonder how their editing works too. It could be something or could be nothing deep. Thank you <3

21 - Before the Run ep got aired, i was like Tae would be happy cuz Jin is the teacher instead of being in opposite team. Me - Their boldness and domesticity to me is because their relationship seems more or less stable, as compared to before. They’re happier now and it shows. BTS is big and influential and broke barriers and created history, but the sad fact is that they’re still very much subjected to xenophobia, racism and all sorts of prejudice. There will always be antis awaiting their downfall. Granted if there’s anyone to ‘break’ this taboo surrounding LGBT, it could be them, but probably not now? Me - Hi! I think both are equally so? Tae may be more obvious and direct about it while Jin is more subtle but both of them seem to be on the same page regarding this matter.

24 - Hi. I love your blog so much & i myself have no doubt that Taejin are in a relationship, but i am curious about when you first had suspicions towards Taejin, did you also observe all other BTS ships? Or did you just observe Taejin exclusively?

Me - When I saw that SMA hug in 2018 after watching Burn the Stage I thought something was off. I didn’t observe any particular pairings but I saw the popular pairing compilation and crack videos. Sope, Namjin, Taekook, Jikook, Vmin and Yoonjin? And HopexML. Didn’t watch Taejin at all.

Do you think Taejin is the only romantic ship in BTS? Or are there any other ships that you have suspicions of as well?

Me - Just Taejin. I am curious about Jikook but not curious enough to observe them closer.

Because i have some questions regarding Yoonmin, Jikook, & Sope. And since your bias is/was Yoongi, i wanted to hear your opinion on this since you always try to be as objective as possible. I've always thought all other BTS ships besides Taejin was platonic, but i can't be too sure about Yoonmin. Me - I agree with you that Sope is 100% platonic best friends with amazing chemistry.

Jikook confuses me a lot. When I think about lack of boundaries, I think Vmin, Jinkook and Taekook. These are platonic-lack-of-boundaries pairs. Jikook is kind of one level above this category? They’re very free and don’t restrict themselves but they also don’t have that “nervousness” or “awkwardness” like Taejin does. I don’t know where they belong. Rather than being comfortable with flirting, it’s like flirting is their “default” mode? Yeah I don’t know, it’s confusing. I have never been suspicious of Yoonmin… don’t think there’s anything suspicious between them? They tease each other a lot?

Another question (i'm so sorry), what are your thoughts about Jungkook? To me i find him the hardest to understand since he's not my bias & because he's just so talented in almost anything he does that it makes me unable to relate to him at all. His behavior towards Jin, Jimin & Taehyung makes me go ???????? sometimes because they are pretty questionable. Me - If you say it like that, then I’ll have to say he’s “questionable” towards all of his hyungs. Take the tattoo out of this equation, his tattoo is meant for BTSARMY. JK is probably the one and only one who has zero boundaries with all his hyungs? Because he’s their baby, all of them. Don't forget that he's lived with them since he was 15. I don't think he's bizarre at all, it's just the way he's extremely comfortable around all of them. As an elaboration of my opinion above, the fact that JK seeks out Jimin and spends their time a lot together off camera is special to Jikook in the way Taejin is special because you can see Tae wants to "EatJin". They're impossibly close, in many aspects. Again, I'm going to emphasise that this does not mean I'm implying Jikook is exclusively romantic. They have a special bond, I don’t know what it could be, they confuse me but I think that the amount of time they spend together, not just as BTS is special.

I apologise for sending this type of ask here instead of your Tumblr but because your Tumblr is a Taejin centric blog i didn't know if it would be appropriate to ask there so i sent it here instead. If possible i would love to hear your opinion on this. Sorry for such a lengthy ask, but if you're unable to answer this i totally understand as well. It's just that you're one of those few people in the fandom that i really trust with having a clear thought since you observe BTS dynamic as a whole.

For example, the sleeping arrangements in the SOOP, they watched the Namjin analysis video and then they watched the Taejin analysis video & they say they don't know which one to believe in.

Me - I'm just an anon ranting about Taejin here 😅 ... Errr, there's no rule you need to ship anyone? We're here for BTS and their music after all. YouTube analysis videos mess with my brain more than anything, I'd rather watch the actual video. Otherwise it's totally cool to casually ship any pairings you like. If I wasn't into Taejin I'd probably casually be into Yoonjin and Jinkook.

26 - Hello! In response to anon's ask about JK's influence on Taejin's relationship, I think despite all of them alr being in their 20s, Jk will always be treated as the maknae by Jin and Tae (and other members). Both will coddle him and give him a free pass for many things simply because he is their "baby" brother. I think because of JK's maknae status and Taejin's innate affection for him, taejin aren't opposed to showing PDA with him (and in front of each other no less). I think Tae is less jealous about Jinkook PDA as compared to Namjin or any other pairing. Similarly, beside with Tae, Jin doesn't seem that outwardly affectionate (e.g. back hugs) to other members except Jk. In defence of taekook's friendship, I don't think they are "not close" but their friendship is certainly different. Older members like Tae might not confide about their troubles and inner thoughts with Jk simply because he has less life experiences and seemingly less wise. Their relationship is probably less deep, but they get along v well on more light hearted things and that's great as well.

Sorry my comment is so damn long, but I guess this brings me the point where Taejin's relationship is definitely not brotherly especially when Jin treats Tae so differently/partially compared to the other dongsaengs. If Tae was just a brother figure to Jin like the others, putting myself in the shoes of say Jimin and Jk, I would feel quite jealous and upset that Jin showers Tae with much more attention and affection.

27 - I am a new taejinnie and I was reading your blog in the past few days, I have to say the amount of info is a bit overwhelming even if you do make a really good job at posting stuff in chronological order, so it becomes truly helpful. But I have seen a bit of misinformation by you, and many other taejinnies have done it in the past, which is a bit concerning to me. I am not going to name all of them, but I am curious about one in particular, tae's wallpaper in that paris vhope vlive. Why do you say with such conviction that it's Jin in the photo? Other shippers claim to be someone else and I even saw others saying that it's tae himself. I see no resemblance to the jin photo by naver, since jin's sleeve is much looser and the person in tae's pic seems to be holding smth like a camera and also has a watch on his wrist. I have noticed that taejinnies tend to hype some moments that we don't have proof of and get spread around but then are proven to be wrong. Some of those are the blanket kick "kiss", the "saranghe" from the so what moment, the bon voyage "matching" tattoos, this jin wallpaper, to name just a few. I don't like us to be like taekookers, so I'd love to only take into account the things that are solid proof and not stuff we wish for it to be there. Maybe some would say that this is not that deep and I shouldn't take it so seriously, but if we are to say that taejin really are a hidden gay couple, then we need to back this up with info that can be proven and not just by our wishful thinking.

Me - I’ll be honest, your message rubs me off the wrong way. I do not care what other shippers say or think, if you have watched the VHope vlive and think it’s not true, that’s fine. If you haven’t watched it, please do so and form your own conclusions. I do not assert that my opinion is correct, and I have said plenty of times to take my content with a large pinch of salt, read at your own discretion. This is a blog where I free my thoughts and fangirl Taejin and put up some topics for discussion. Not a place for people to verify facts about Taejin. Tae’s wallpaper in Vhope’s vlive has a strong resemblance to Jin in the White Day photoshoot by Dispatch, but it is likely not a photo taken by Dispatch but his own camera phone. In other words it’s his own photo of Jin in that same setting during the actual photoshoot.

28 - One of the moments which made me a taejininie was the ending of dimple at 5th muster magic shop but after watching the performances of all 4 days I realised that moment may be a fanservice as it was enacted on 2nd day of both busan and seoul. Also if you follow jin's fancam on seoul 2nd day as the lights went out he winked at tae which might indicate this was all planned maybe? My bubble has burst. Help me!!!😭😭😭😭😭

Me - I think perhaps you should look more into their stage and concert performances and concert DVDs to have a better understanding of their bold and loud moments on stage. At one glance, any of their on stage moments can look like mere fanservice. This is one thing I find difficult to explain, it’s easier once you have a better grasp of their dynamics on and off stage. Take a look at my So What post, that might help. If you’ve observed Taejin enough you’ll know they don’t do stuff just to please others.

29 - I want to say something to taejinnies who keep worrying about them, so this won't be an ask, but my pov.

So a while back I used to get really insecure about them whenever they had their more quiet moments. But actually, there's something that most of us have noticed and it's very important when talking about taejin as a couple: that we rarely have "in-between" moments, it's mostly just hot or cold with them. And you talked about it too before, but I just think we need to repeat this thing to taejinnies who lose faith, at least once in a while. There's a reason taejin was the first ship, but also a reason why other armys really can't see them. It's always tkk, vmin, jinkook and lately vhope, but it's always been taejin. If armys would pay attention to the important things, taejin would definitely stand out. From singing a love ost together, to always being side by side behind the scenes, sharing the two seats of a couch or riding a bus, always together, sometimes even stuck shoulder to shoulder. They don't need to do loud things to prove anything to anyone, it should be obvious by now how biased they are for each other. If this doesn't prove that they're romantically involved, it at least proves that they are the closest members in bts. They've been so constant during all these years, basically the only bts ship to actually be this visibly close, but annoyingly for us, invisible to others, for some weird reason. Why do you guys think that most of the questionable thing tae has done are with jin? And how come Jin is soft only with tae, out of all the boys in the group? He compares him with flowers, his touches are gentle, his eyes speak volumes. Tae on the other hand takes care of Jin like he does no other, he loses the formalities with jin the most, and he doesn't shy away to always declare his fondness and love for jin. I have no idea why all this just evaporates whenever taejin become more quiet, but it should be logical to every taejinnie that if these things have lasted for 8+ years, they will last even more. They're at the age where friendships and bonds don't break that easily.

So please trust our taejin and don't expect them to always have moments just to please us, and please don't go around saying that taejin "broke up". At the end of the day, I trust that their bond is forever.

Me - I agree with you so much :) there are so many loud and subtle moments caught on camera but we forget that we don’t see the “in between” or them just alone together being themselves. There is just so much more to them that we haven’t seen and don’t know about. Yet time and time again, they have always shown how tight knit they really are. I trust that their bond is forever too.

30 - To this day, I cannot convince myself that the Burn The Stage fight was just that. They were not arguing over the choreography, no. The choreography seemed to trivial of a reason for what happened and what was said. There had to be more to it, some context from the past. It seemed like a bottle up over a long period which then poured out with the choreography as an excuse. Not to forget, the clip was, of course, edited. I am also not convinced that the "make-up" they had on camera was it. They probably talked for sometime by themselves later and may or may not have taken sometime to get back to their regular dynamics. I also feel that Jimin came to retrieve them because he knew or at lease felt like their was more to this fiasco and did not want things to be said on camera.

Can you make a list of some taejin moments excluding on-stage ones as that are labelled fan service irrespective of however intense or genuine they may seem and also the off-stage ones which can be called brotherly caring? Which are the ones which can never be called scripted or family bond or brotherly love?"

Received this ask a while back, thought I'd answer it for fun since I'm in a slump right now. I'm not concerned about antis because no matter what you explain, they're just there to troll. But I thought it'd be fun to revisit older moments especially since there's just so much right now and they're so sweet and domestic with each other. So basically, a list of off stage unscripted non-platonic Taejin moments. Sounds simple enough. Contexts of each moment listed applies.

Note: It's all moments you know of and have seen before, it may be boring, you can give this a skip. This is more for my own entertainment. Also remember to take everything on this blog with a pinch of salt.

Jin firmly announcing that Tae doesn't drink coffee. Another subtle moment but with strong romantic implications. Jimin went "Oh yes! He doesn't drink coffee" as an afterthought and in the SOOP episode recently Namjoon forgot and offered him some.

An elaboration why I included this moment here: it's not so much the fact that he remembers Tae's preferences. I'm sure they all do. But in that moment, when everyone is focused on the teacher and the class, Jin is the one who takes the initiative to tell the teacher that Tae doesn't drink coffee. Which is why I've added in the fact that his BFF and soulmate Jimin also added on that "Oh right! Tae doesn't drink coffee" as an after thought. So the reason I listed it there is because Jin is very attentive and tuned into Tae's likes and dislikes as if it's at the forefront of his mind, which is the implied romantic part. 'Tae comes first' for Jin.

Q1 Tae looks so happy and at peace now! He even said so himself in the recent radio show. I'm just happy that he is happy, but do you think it has anything to do with how his relationship with Jin has transitioned? They are really behaving like a domestic couple who care and look out for each other. In the Soop revealed so much to us, their comfort with EO in a more laid back environment. The rest of members are also less panicky around them. Wanted to know your thoughts on what could have caused the shift in dynamics and Tae's overall demeanor? I love your blog btw!

A: When I saw your message I was so excited to reply because I thought, bullseye! I completely agree and feel the same. His relationship with Jin has been pretty stable since late 2019, I think the change in his mood now is largely because he overcame his personal issues that he mentioned while having a heart to heart talk with JK in the SOOP. They all had their own ways of coping with the Covid-19 outbreak. Namjoon and Yoongi were more expressive of their feelings during that time but it seems like Tae bottled it up for a while? I’m so glad they’re all happier now and it really shows. Their domesticity has peaked but on the other hand it means we will see less ‘loud’ moments, since they take care of each other in the background silently and subtly, add on to that the fact that we don’t have much live events or performances. Unless they choose to want to show it like in Spring Day and Save Me or maybe you know, turn on vlive?

Since we’re on this topic, I was also thinking about how much more closer and emotionally bonded Yoonjin, Vmon and Taekook (now we know it’s because of their date night in the SOOP) became as of late. They’re so chummy in their recent interviews and shows I can’t help but feel so warm watching them.

A: I can still hear him whining at Jin after losing that ping pong match and him pouting because he couldn’t flip the pajeon the first time and Jin was completely whipped for him. I really like the quiet moments when he stayed with Jin and helped him with fileting the fish too.

A: I would agree with you, but it doesn’t explain a lot of things. If Taejin interacting is the ‘problem’ they can always adjust the choreo or lineup. Answer, Mikrokosmos, Spring day, So What is more balanced in this aspect. Your Eyes Tell and Stay Gold too (despite the lines, SG showcased his best abilities especially when performed live, Jimin and Tae as well). That said, I really don’t know why and what goes on behind the scenes or which producers are responsible for this. It’s illogical to say that Jin doesn’t suit Dynamite’s style, because clearly his vocals are powerful and flexible (there’s a better word for this). Also, I think the issue extends to beyond just ‘equal’ line distribution. In songs, and art, it’s impossible to be ‘equal’, but I draw the line when I start thinking “Where is Jin?” during their song or MV. Not to mention, more than halfway through it. I’ve seen casual listeners and non fans react the same way when they watch Dynamite. And… that’s not right. I have a lot to say about this topic and the toxic “Jin is a grown man he does whatever he likes, because JinHit, stop victimising him” narrative. Q11 I'm so sad today. There's fight between Jin and Tae solo stans. Again. Even non shippers are piping in. It's so clear that Tae was joking. And plus Jin just before called RM worst dancer too. Jin was not joking then? I understand that Jin has received a lot of cruel comments from ARMY. So it's scary that solo stans will use Tae's sentence as ammunition to hate on Jin. But they're gonna hate on every member regardless. This is not the tipping point. We should never try to limit the way these boys interact with e/o. They have been together for so long. I'm sure they know which lines to not cross.

And Tae was clearly joking and immediately caressed Jin's arm to let Jin know he was joking. This is the same guy who was ready to fight Jin himself when he put himself down during VLive.

Even from the beginning Tae was known as the president of Jin's protection club. Now Tae has become very reserved and doesn't voice out his opinions as much. But he always shows his care through actions.

Jin has joked around the boys a lot too. He still does. But we all know he's doing it for fun or teasing other members. So what's the difference between Jin joking and other members joking? One is allowed. The other is not?

It's so upsetting seeing Jin stans who don't ship, call out Taejinnies indirectly, saying we are basically scrambling around trying to self convince. I have always noticed that stans who are mostly there for Jin dislikes Tae the most. But I'm not exactly sure why. The only theory I have is because Taejin's dynamics is seen through their actions. They seldom use words to show their relationship. It's so unlike Jin's relationship with other members. Where Jin voices out his fondness for the others much more than through actions.

A: Some arguments and people on the internet aren’t worth arguing. The group of people who attacked Tae and/or Jin over this belongs in that category. Doesn’t matter if you list out a whole book of reasons why and that they love each other, if people don’t want to see it, they simply won’t. I’ve yet to see Joon stans attacking Jin for calling him worst dancer (but nah I don’t want to see that kinda nonsense anyway). No matter the haters, we have so many Taejin moments to be happy about. Just see their happy faces when they’re together. I personally loved the way Jin looked softly at him when Tae rubbed his arm after teasing him. Also Tae’s cheeky smile, he knows he can get away with just about anything.

That’s true, Taejin don’t really use words to show their affection for each other. But when they do, it’s explosive, like “Groom, Kim Seokjin!”. Or “Are you my birthday gift?” and then people skip right over it saying NBD it’s bromance. Not to mention the countless ways they love and take care of each other silently and constantly. I hope you’re not too bothered about the hate anymore, we’re here for Taejin after all. And we know how much they really love each other :)

Q12 Hello! I love your posts🤧 BTW, I was missing Taejin in Episode 6. Jin seemed to be a bit sulky since that morning. He refused to wake him up when Hobi asked him about them. He refused to join them in the long drive, etc.. He even teased Tae & JK about their date 😢 I am sad that we didn't get any solid Taejin moment in the Soop. This always happens with Taejin. A: I don’t know if he was sulky or not but Yoonjinmin busying themselves with their games were so adorable! I think he simply didn’t want to move and just sit and play games. We all have those days when we don’t really want to do much. SOOP was overflowing with Jikook though? I thought Taejin playing ping pong, catch ball, badminton and the fish fileting were pretty solid moments. I also enjoyed Jinkook, Yoonmin and Yoonjin. Vmon is growing on me so much lately too, they’ve become even more comfortable with each other. They’ll spring up on you when you least expect it, it’s Taejin after all. Also we really can’t complain because we have so many moments outside SOOP.

Q13 The Taekookers are lucky. Atleast Tae & Kooky raised a toast for them. I am sad how a simple lack of communication was so nicely taken care of by Tae & grandly & romantically portrayed by BH in the Soop whereas Taejin's fight in the movie was portrayed in a complete negative manner. The fight resolution scene was also kinda crude & seemed incomplete. That's why people think that Tae & Jin don't go well together & they have issues.

A: I get what you mean but I wouldn't trade any of the existing Taejin moments for anything else 😅 Don’t you think the way each pairing's arguments are resolved speaks volumes about the nature of their relationship behind the cameras? (Think Vmin's dumpling fight, Hopekook fighting over bananas, Jikook’s tearful fight in the rain, Taejin’s tense fight in burn the stage, Tae’s lost bag in BV1, Namgi's petty fights when they were younger, etc) It depends on how you look at it, because if that had been Taejin in the grand, romantic date in the SOOP then my blog wouldn't exist because that's the scene of a platonic long term friendship. If one bothered to look beyond the fight, they'd see how close Taejin really are, so we can't really put all the blame on Burn the Stage after all. Tae *did* say they grew alot closer after that and nothing will ever come in between them. Also, Taekook raised a toast for themselves, not their shippers. I just don't think it’s right to reduce Tae's efforts to bridge their relationship to just their shippers, he really just missed his best friend.

- ok i hate when people compare friendships in the group and i hate when people hate on a different bond in the name of their ship, so i really didnt like people getting annoyed at tkk adorable and emotional conversation.. however, thinking about it, the anon from your asks compilation DID have a point when they talked about the way bh portrayed the situations.. the burn the stage fight was portrayed as a huge dramatic event and they dedicated very little to the problem solving and showing the aftermath, while the tkk conversation was portrayed the way i would expect them to show every single conflict solving in the group. a soft, heartfelt conversation. theres no doubt its different becauae there wasnt a fight but they just drifted apart and tried working on their friendship, but now seeing how beautifully they expressed it and showed it to us, im disappointed they didnt to the same with taejin's fight. even if their conversation was much more private, the least they could do is show them getting along more and being closer right after showing the fight, to show how they really did grow and figured things out and are closer than ever - because them saying it to the camera isnt as convincing as showing it through actions. and as much as us taejinnies see it, many armys didnt, because it wasnt portrayed that way. on the other hand its really easy to see tkk growth through in the soop, and even though feeling distant for years is more serious than a pretty harmless fight, it was portrayed as if the latter is much worse and on the verge of unforgivable. so yeah, i just think the tkk situation was handled better by bh and was portrayed better to the audiance. and i dont think it has anything to do with the nature of the realtionship, you'd expect them to want to show how every single realtionship in the group is healthy and strong. -

Me: Yeah, I think I misread the original message and you both certainly do have a good point. It’s weird for BH to want to portray their relationship in that kind of light. Granted, the context may have been different and there was no actual fight between Taekook while Taejin was in tears and they wanted to show how the group came together to resolve it but there wasn’t actually any proper scenes to show that. What they showed instead was cut footage of the fight occurring with no actual explanation as to how they actually came to argue about the dance steps and then snippets of Taejin sticking to each other backstage at the end of the show, and it’s completely overshadowed by the actual fight.

This brought me back to the time when an anon asked me if “BH portrayed the fight in that manner to maybe make us think that Taejin isn’t very close?”. On it’s own, it sounds like a bit of a stretch, but think back to the period of time it actually happened, Taejin were all over each other in 2017 and the DVD wasn’t released until much later. After this discussion I’m more inclined to answer yes to that question. Their fight is arguably the most famous and most dramatic in BTS history but after Festa 2018, they never brought it up ever again, never spoke of it, despite the severity. Meanwhile we got to hear a lot of details about Vmin’s dumpling fight from A to Z and the banana food fight repeated even till now. Now with the addition of Taekook’s romantic date night where they talk it out and solved it in such a peaceful manner and even showed them getting chummy with each other again, it becomes much more obvious. Not downplaying the severity of the other arguments that they mentioned, but the original point stands, Taejin’s relationship was pretty much misconstrued because of the way it was depicted and thanks to that, most baby armys think they’re not close.

Q14 The Taekookers are lucky in a way, (although their Ship has kind of been friend-zoned & their theories throughout all these years failed as they used to think that Taekook is dating, real, married, etc.) coz they got to see a romantic kdrama type Taekook moment in the Episode 6, where Jimin escorted JK to him like a host taking orders from a couple in a restaurant. Jin asking "if Tae & JK are having a date night". The scene ended with a romantic music playing in the background. :3

Q15 Honestly, can you explain Taejin's bond in a completely platonic way? Their relationship with e/o is so unique. It's unlike any relationship they have with the other 5 boys. They show their love and care through actions. This is especially noticeable with Jin, who, like you mentioned before, uses words more than actions in his relationships. Plus an array of questionable actions. Which even the majority of our fandom agrees with. Whenever they do something that make us go '????????' no one (except shippers) even questions it anymore. They just say Taejin is being Taejin again. They're not even surprised much.

A: No I can’t. If I could, this blog wouldn’t exist. I wouldn’t get headaches. I wouldn’t be writing essays on them just to get these thoughts off my head so I can fangirl BTS peacefully. There is nothing platonic between Taejin, so there’s nothing to be explained. I don’t even know if I would use the word soulmate to describe them. They’re just two individuals in love and putting effort into their relationship to make it work.

Q19 i would like to add on the "eldest hyung" ask. eldest hyung isnt just "oldest brother" like we in the west portray it. some karmys said that even if someone is age-wize your eldest, if you give him the "title" of "my mat-hyung" it means you have huge amount of respect for him and that he has a big part in your life. moreover, being a couple doesnt mean you drop the hyung completely. a taejinnie once shared a youtube channel of a gay korean couple, they vlog together and theyve been dating for years and the younger calls his partner "hyung" all the time (i wish i had a link, they were adorable). also remember that straight couples use "oppa", so hyung is literally the same. it might be translated as brother but it doesnt mean literal brother.. its their culture, we cant project ours onto theirs, and most koreans call each other hyung no matter the relationship. i personally think its very meaningful that tae used eldest hyung with seokjin.

Q20 from what ive heard, taejin is actually very popular in korea.. i cant rank them cause im not korean lmao but i did see many people mention a lot that taejin has always been and still is one of the popular ships of the k side. Q22 I can't believe there was a time when I used to be :/ over Jin's expressions whenever Tae gets playful or sensual or whatever Taejin does. 😂😂 I used to wonder why Jin keeps a straight face only with Tae. He will be all smiley faced with any other member being playful and indulges them. But with Tae, he will make himself small and don't look at Tae's face. But there were just too many questionable Taejin moments that I could never think that they were not close because of this.

After looking more into it, I realised how many things these two do behind the back with straight faces. They'll be doing ????? inducing things but keep a straight poker face. Also, Jin said that he dyed his hair purple because of a pokemon, but he revealed his purple hair for the first time on the first day of Pride month and what a coincidence, “I purple you” was created by the one and only Kim Taehyung. Yup. That’s Kim Seokjin for you.

Q23 I was wondering about the latest behind the scenes for in the soop, episode 7. Tae was genuinely concerned and surprised with Jin's cut in his hand. But Jin cut his hand the day before, yet Tae wasn't aware of it. But Yoongi, for example, knew all the details. How come? Don't we assume they spend their evenings talking to eo, and more than that, taejin even cuddling in the tent? Shouldn't tae have seen that? It was almost a day until tae saw the cut. It's moments like these that make me confused with taejin, and there's many of the sort. I've seen other anons asking about these on your tumblr page, like the fact that jin didn't know about tae's camera being broken, or taejin meeting eo at the airport as if they haven't seen eo in a long time. They also seem to not be aware of eo's whereabouts all the time. I've had boyfriends in the past and they were the first to know about important things in my life. I think it's completely normal that Tae didn't know abt the cut. They could totally still be cuddling in bed without sharing every facet of their day with each other. It's not that big of a wound too. I've a gash on my ankle now and I doubt my husband even noticed and haven't bothered to tell him abt it either. Dont think it's big deal really.

And on Jin being pissed with Tae for calling him worst dancer? Nah. I was surprised that Tae made that remark then watched the whole video and realised this was right after Jin called RM the worst dancer. I think it was all in good fun. And Jin wouldn't take offence otherwise he wouldn't talk badly about RM's dancing either.

A: Thanks anon 2, appreciate the unsolicited thoughts. I wouldn’t consider a blister/small cut on the hand anything life changing or important either. Some people notice, some don’t. It depends, but yeah, not a big deal. Yoongi and Jimin were woodcarving with him, he got injured in front of them, of course Yoongi would know. Tae was on his date with Hobi. This applies to the broken camera thing too, if he doesn’t feel the need to tell, and Jin doesn’t mind, then that’s just them. Also we don’t actually know if they cuddled in the tent or not, it was all merely speculations. That particular moment of Taejin meeting each other at the airport as if they haven’t met each other for a long time, I suggest you watch BV 3, BV4 and Run BTS because Taejin’s definition of long time seems to be anything more than 12 hours. I don’t know where you got the impression that they don’t know about each other’s whereabouts either, they’ve talked about how close they are plenty of times.

Also thanks for reminding me, people were kicking up a huge fuss over Tae teasing Jin but conveniently leave out the fact that Jin did the same thing to Namjoon. They’re all mature enough and know each other’s limits, not us. Also I’ve said it before, Jin would let Tae get away with anything.

Q24 At first I thought that jin sleeping in a tent had something to do with taejin wanting privacy, especially due to jin's luggage next to V. But then I saw Jin basically disliking the cameras following his every move, so it had everything to do with his own privacy. I think that if taejin really wanted to share a room, they would, I don't think anyone forbids them to. V took jin's bed in the room with Hobi so that everyone could sleep solo, even Jimin. Yeah, 2seok were supposed to share a room and also vmin, but I think tae got sleepy the first night and Jin told him to take his bed as he would sleep in a tent. And he liked it so much that he decided to keep sleeping there. I don't think we should make up any theories about it without any solid proof. The cameras were on even at night, I really think that taejin are smart enough not to risk smth like sleeping together in a tent and then having to tell the editors to edit that out, and all the sneaking around.

Well… I did say it’s all speculations. There’s not a single footage of them sleeping at night, so there’s nothing to say but speculate, really. Just to clarify, I speculated they may have shared a bed or a room during that one night in the earlier episodes (3?) when Hobi mentioned bugs. Besides that I don’t think they shared a bed/room either. Though I still think that Jin sleeping in the tent till nearly noon is for show. He might have been sleeping in another room for privacy reasons, like you stated, then moved to the tent in the morning to nearly noon for leisure.
