At my school we made an economic system based om cheastnuts and pinecones (10 cheastnuts=1 nice, fresh pinecone).
With those we traded other valuables, such as ladybugs, marbles and black, metall-y like rocks generally known as slagg.
Having a lot of slagg was basically the status marker back then.

I hadn’t posted an update since I first made it, so I wanted to post some pictures of what my battle jacket currently looks like. I’ve added tons of patches (including the back patch I custom made for it) and it feels almost totally “complete.” Just gotta fill that one little gap on the yoke. :)

Also. Yes. According to at least one study money do buy hapiness. Kinda anyway. According to the study happiness drastically increases alongside with income to a certain point (basically until when you can buy food, pay rent and buy entertainment without having to worry about the money you spend.)
So yes money do buy happiness. Or at least safety and less stress, with is an important basis for increasing your happiness.
