Her first move is to remove herself from the situation since that’s generally x-men protocol if it’s not like… a death ray pointed at a bus of orphans or some shit. But tbh her instinct is to lash out and remove the problem/threat. and she’s willing to snap it’s neck if that’s how far she’s gotta take it but naturally she’d prefer not having to do that.

UHHHH OFC SHE HAS SHE’S AN X-MAN. They get bit by ALL KINDS OF SHIT. Naturally the long term effect is kinda determined by what tf it WAS. unless it was notably horrific if it didn’t have some side/effects a longer recovery time then tbh she just takes her lumps and moves on. 

Plus she got bit by a dog as a kid. Now she’s shifty-eyed about bloodhounds. Other dogs are fine but bloodhounds? get ur droopy behinds outta here mister. she’s on to you >:T

doing this bc the Ich Will cover by Steve ‘n’ Seagulls just came on which prompted me to think and tbh it actually weirdly makes sense but ROGUE CAN SPEAK GERMAN FLUENTLY. 

This is because her other mother Irene is from Austria, Mystique can speak it as well and they did actually give a whole lotta shits about her education so including a language they both spoke fluently Just Made Sense. It’s one of the few things she and Kurt have in common and honestly keeps coming in handy more than she’d anticipated.

while rogue IS very southern and knows/shows a lot of the cultural etiquette or whatever it’s also kinda important to remember she was also raised and homeschooled in the boondocks by two evil european first wave feminists so some things like “southern hospitality” and “house pride” and southern belle culture– it’s just not something she had too much contact with.

since Rogue was born in a CULT in FUCK ALL RURAL mississippi she DOES NOT HAVE ANY LEGAL DOCUMENTATION. Literally all her docs are FORGED by Mystique and Destiny. In fact, she probably has several sets for different countries, more than she even knows about bc of how her moms worked but they’re all with mystique now. 

she also DOES NOT PAY TAXES NOR KNOW WHAT HER SSN IS. she left home at 17, never asked about any of that kinda stuff now it’s awkward to. plus again…. literally no documentation she was even born in the us / at all since they never took her to the hospital or anything.

the only person who came out of the 00s techno-metal, cybergoth, matrix/queen of the damned and latex everything era MORE powerful was rogue. she was BUILT to thrive in that environment. 

okay, I hesitate to put out a starter call for many, many reasons and i doubt this'll do anything but i am genuinely not interested in doing anything without some convo before hand so here's a PLOTTING CALL.

I don't necessarily need thread ideas hammered out or anything but i don't really wanna just jump into things and improv my way through. I'd like to TALK about dynamics and vibes and such before doing shit so if that's something you'd like to do please LIKE OR REPLY to this post.
