I'm so worried when I read very young people in the discourse side of things. It's so sad so many kids in fandom today are growing with the sense that they can't enjoy things, or that there's an inherently wrong way to enjoy things, or that they have to fight to have the freedom to like things from the get-go.
This is NOT TRUE. Don't let antis suck the fun away from what you love. You DESERVE to have fun and you DESERVE respect no matter how you do it.
I promise, fandom wasn't always like this.
