Listening is much more than allowing another to talk while waiting for a chance to respond. Listening is paying full attention to others and welcoming them into our very beings. The beauty of listening is that those who are listened to start feeling accepted, start taking our words more seriously and discovering their true selves.
Concept: a bunch of bored high schoolers check out a book on conspiracy theories from the local library and decide to start a pretend Illuminati chapter. It’s mostly an excuse to go on scavenger hunts and commit harmless pranks and small acts of vandalism, which they assign to themselves as weekly “secret missions” via plain white envelopes delivered to their “headquarters”. A great time is had by all – right up until they collectively realise that none of them have come up with a mission for months, each assuming that someone else was taking care of it, and they have no idea where the directives are coming from.
