clean water is such a luxury that we tend to take for granted.
i found out that wild animals can drink dirty water only because they've been acclimated to its contaminants since birth. because of this, any changes in the water can cause outbreaks of severe illness. animals raised on clean water would have just as much trouble with wild water as we would.

UNRWA, ANERA and WCK have all been forced to pause or halt their humanitarian operations in Gaza because Israel has deliberately targeted any means of lifesaving aid to a starved, maimed, and tortured population of over 2 million Palestinians, almost half of which are children.
This has been broadcasted by Israel so that it sets the precedent of what is deemed permissible in the face of "international law". I said it before, it does not get any more obviously genocidal than this.

This is the same thing over and over again. Palestinians die every day, but it gets a lukewarm headline from mainstream media because death and destruction is inherent to Arabness. Then an aid convoy with white workers is obliterated, and now both the president of the United States and the president of Israel are making statements apologizing for “the poor protection of aid workers.” At one point we were seeing multiple reports a day of paramedics from the Palestine Red Crescent Society dying, but nothing. Crickets. Because they don’t care. And even in these “remorseful statements” there is a strategic reminder that white lives hold more weight than brown lives.

Motorcity Pitch Bible Highlights!!!!!
Unfortunately the HD pilot itself wasn't found but we have the pitch bible!!! Some highlights:
The Burners are confirmed to be around 17 years old!! I'm still not buying it tbf I think it's just to bypass Disney's target demographic requirement 😭😭 they're like early to mid 20s in my eyes considering that the crew did draw them drinking alcohol (which was changed to yogurt...)
Chuck's parents live in Deluxe! I wonder if Chuck ever visit them?
Julie's mother was dead. Kinda obvious but still nice to see a confirmation
Texas is from Motorcity! The only Burners that does. Well, we don't know about Mike since even the bible kept Mike's family a secret. Also aw Mike is Texas' hero :)
Kane's backstory. It's pretty expected but again, nice to see a confirmation.
Gabriel, teenage assassin? I'm assuming this is an early version of Red. But Gabriel always worked for Kane while Red worked for him very briefly. Also "He used to know Mike" hmm...
