I've recently discovered Edonia has a coffee version of Sinistea and I'm freaking out. These guys are so cute where do I find one????
Ah yes coffee Sinistea, how original. I know it's not the most unique thing ever but I wanted to take a crack it it. These guys have a custom Ability called Caffeine Rush. Here's the description for it.
Caffeine Rush - When under half Hp the Pokemon will enter a Caffeine Rush where Speed, Attack, and Special Attack are raised drastically for three turns before it is reset and lowered drastically until either switched out or returned to over half hp
I hope it's understandable how I wrote it but I like how it sounds in paper :D
As for the designs I literally just stuck Sinistea into a coffee cup and Coffegheist was me trying to make it look like a hipster vibing in a pool or smt.
Idk how well it worked out but I like it.

I was at the library the other day when I found this book about the Legendary Pokemon of Edonia. I thought I'd share it here since I've never heard of this story before. Hopefully it won't be too long but I'll put it under the cut just in case.
Once upon a time, back when Edonia was still young there lived two Pokemon. One found joy in making others happy, and the other found it in gather items to share with others when things became tough. They were said to be the first living creatures to very catch a glimpse of Cabimor, a legendary Pokemon said to bring passion to all those who saw it.
These two Pokemon were friends, and over time each got the chance to do more of what they loved. The first grew to become well known, and people began coming to it for the joy it could provide, and the second's hoard grew ever larger, allowing it to share more.
But one day when the two were out in the forest hanging out, they saw something fly overhead. It's feathers sparkled like rubies as one of them fell right in between the two. Looking at it gave them the overwhelming desire to do the things they loved even more, but there was only one feather.
"Clearly I should keep it because imagine how many people I could bring joy to!", the first one declared.
"No I should have it, I could gather so much more with the motivation this brings me!", the second one argued.
The two fought over the feather for a while when the Pokemon that first dropped it came back to see them fighting. This was wrong, they thought! Their feathers are meant to bring good things, not conflict! Not wanting to see their gift be fought over, they sent a warning to the two Pokemon.
"Cause conflict over my feathers, and I shall strip you of everything that makes your passion true!"
The two Pokemon didn't seem to take it seriously, believing it was simply a matter of the other not seeing their side, leaving to go back home afterwards.
The Pokemon came to check on the two a few days later to see if they had heeded its waring, only to find the argument had continued. So it did just as it said, turning the two into husks of their former selves. One seeking nothing but fame, the other to grow their horde, and to this day they live like that.

The little town of Feliterra is a small but cozy one. Boarding the desert in Edonia it's surrounded by various Rock and Ground types, though Pokemon who aren't don't need to worry about the sandstorms of the desert proper. It's home to the Rock type Gym of Edonia which has had quite a streak recently of staying in the Minor League.
Other notable locations in town is the library, the nearby mines, and lab of the Pokemon Professor!
In context of a theoretical fangame, this would also be the starting town of the region! As the player character would be a life time resident of the town!

Behold, the little guys!!! I was just informed I would also have to take care of them as well because why wouldn't I have yet something else do to other than get myself set up. These are Mitling, Smobby, and Topour, don't know what they'll evolve into yet but I can always ask my Uncle if it comes up.
They have special abilities so let me explain them real quick:
Safe Haven basically means the less Mitling attacks, the better they can take a hit, because well it hides in its log until then.
Over Prepared means if you hand them a berry there is a good chance they will find a second one somewhere else but won't reveal that until it's already eaten the first one.
Speedy Hit is kinda a "fuck u" where when it gets faster it ALSO gets stronger. Have no idea how that works. That's gonna be a pain to deal with...
Behold!!! Edonia's starter trio! I'll discuss each of them one at a time. Before that the Trio theme is hard to give a single describing word for but I'll try my best. Mitling evolves into a Gardener, providing food and shelter (if the Pokemon is smaller then them) for people. Topour becomes a Lifeguard, actively going out and saving/helping people. Finally Smobby turns into a Park Ranger that educates people on controlled fires. I've explained this as community jobs/different ways of helping but idk.
So, Mitling is what happens when you smush a hermit crab and a fairy house together. I really liked the idea of a crab Pokemon having an intricate house on its back so I made it a starter because you find fairy houses in more woodland settings! The Gardener thing comes from me needing something to tie in the trio theming, and because Mitling is the more reserved of them I thought gardening would make a nice fit, plus rooftop gardens. Currently the house is a simply log that'll get fancier as it evolves. This is also the design I did last and was the most on edge about but I think it turned out well enough. Though it might be prone fot a redesign at some point.
Smobby I had a lot of difficulty deciding on the typing. I knew I wanted one of the starters to be based of Smokey the Bear, Cali's resident Forest Fire PSA, Buti didn't know which. Grass made sense because Park Ranger but then it'd be weak against fire when Smokey is meant to be fighting against forest fires, water was the next choice because water beats fire, and then we have fire type, the one I settled on. This was ultimately decided by my choice for Topour but my reasoning for it is that "Well not all fire is bad! Smokey's whole thing is preventing Forest fires by telling people about how to make safe fires!" So viola fire typing! Design wise Smobby is the simplest of the bunch just being a bear with some fire motifs slapped onto him. I plan on having some more fun with the middle and final stages however!
Topour was the first of the trio I designed, I wanted to make a roadrunner for the trip simply because I thought I'd be fun, I didn't know if I wanted them to be Fire or Water, fire with it being the idea of they run so fast they leave of a trail of fire behind them, and water being the idea of them running so fast they can run across water. I ended up liking the water idea better so here he is! I then came up with the Lifeguard thing because running on water would be very useful for saving people from drowning. I also tried making his little wings kinda look like a poncho, I plan on making it into a full on raincoat for the evolution :)

Since I don't believe they're very common anywhere else, I'd like to introduce all of you to Cam Rotom! I'd like to note something when wrong with the Pokedex and labeled it as an Electric/Ghost type despite them being Electric/Normal type. Don't know why but I'm looking into it now! Little mischievous guys but I love my Cam Rotom Harvey to death!
Hello! This is the mod speaking here! Whenever I post entries for the Edonian Pokedex or anything like that there'll be a little blurb from me with this text formatting about it! I'm putting it under the cut so that way anyone who doesn't want to read me rambling doesn't need too!
Firstly yes I did make an oppsie while making the dex card, but with how I make them it would be weird and wonky to try and remake it so we're going to say it's a tech error in character! Anyways onto my actual commentary about the design.
So I made Cam Rotom in attempt to make a sort of Paparazzi Pokemon for the region (hence it's behind the scenes name of Paparazzi Rotom!) I debated back and forth on its typing alot because Bug would make sense thematically with them forming large flying hoards like moths to a flame, but normal made more sense because Rotom is rather Literal. This is actually the reason for the mistake as I just put in Rotom's Default typing as a placeholder and forgot to change it.
I ended up deciding on normal with the logic of they're super common to see flying around. Plus cameras would be a common device with the California based location of the region.
I also ended up taking the arm things on most Rotom forms and turned them into legs of a tripod to go further into the Camera thing. Overall I'm really happy with the design!

Hey there! Name's Kay Redwood, nibling of former Edonian Professor Nathan Redwood! Now I've taken his place as Edonia's resident Pokemon Professor after moving here and I study the Mentorship Phenomenon!
Run down on what that is, basically when two Pokemon form a close enough bond, the younger one (which I refer to as the Student) gets one of older one's (The Mentor) moves as a fifth move! Though until they master it, it's alot less accurate, the Mentor gets more proficient with it and gains accuracy. Added bonus: When the Student and Mentor do a double battle together, they become better at taking attacks. It's a thing that was recently discovered here in Edonia and it's what I study!
For anyone who hasn't heard of Edonia here's a crude map I drew of it! We're off west of Unova! Personally though I'm from the region up north. (Mod note pretend the Starting town text says "I'm here!")

Helllooooo!!! It's the same person currently running the Aether Foundation PR account and all blogs that follow from it, along with being the one who runs Tinkapoppy and Hoppingwooloo! I'll be following from my main (same as tinkapoppy and hoppingwooloo) since this is a blog for my own little passion project, Pokemon Glee and Gloom! All of my restrictions and boundaries are them same but I'll restate them for the sake of it. I am a minor, all nsfw stuff WILL be deleted. Even if I wasn't I am uncomfortable with that stuff, so don't.
Kay is the professor I made for this region, they're non-binary and go by They/Him (Non-binary pronouns primary, Male pronouns secondary, if confused default to They/Them). They have to exactly one Pokemon and that is my custom Rotom form of Cam Rotom!
As for information on Edonia itself, it's a region based off of California since I grew up there and wanted to make a region for it so I could stop having to make American Pokemon characters be New Yorkers all the time. I'll be posting Pokedex info cards, general information on the region and it's lore, updates to the map, and new characters here in character as Kay most of the time. This blog is just how I want to share this passion project of mine with everyone.
Currently I have a backlog of stuff so that'll be coming out within the next few days as of writing this post! See y'all then!
