my PC's one defining characteristic is her love for hanging out in the cart, too tired to deal with the bullshit.
one of my favourite things about d&d is that everyone in the party is the main character, and because they are all played by someone else they are all a writer’s special and favourite and it makes for such great complex situations and relationships and impromptu monologues & speeches and intense well-crafted backstories and different foci while moving through the dm’s world
#dagmar is pretty much my only character#everyone else is constantly rolling up something new when we do little one shots#and i'm just sitting there like 'actually I'll just backtrack and use lvl 3 dagmar

“Tim was awakened by noises on our deck last week - and looked outside. In astonishment, he grabbed his camera.. and can you believe it? Mama Lynx and her SEVEN kits!! She called to them and they all lined up right outside in front of where he was standing (he was inside the screen door!) Amazing ALASKA WILD LIFE!!! They proceeded to run and play on our deck, and then in our yard.”
