Favorite Vauseman scenes: Taking the Plunge
So this scene from 2.10 was like a treat for Vauseman fans everywhere actually this whole damn episode was just a big ass treat. So much Vauseman goodness in it. The episode even starts off with Piper crying out to the high heavens because Alex Vause is down there working her wonderful magic between Piper’s legs.
So clearly this has to be Alex and Piper’s first time having sex. I’m even willing to bet that this is the first time a woman has gone down on Piper but if it isn’t then this is probably the first time a woman has shown Piper just how “horrible” it can be. I’m interested in knowing how this even got started like what was the conversation like:
Alex: “ Betcha I can make you cum seven times”
Piper: “No way”
Alex: “Challenge accepted”
What I liked about this scene was the innocence and playfulness of it. Starting from the moment Piper asked sweetly and innocently “Can I do you” and then admitting to Alex very shyly that she’s never gone down on a woman before. Even though Alex teases her about it a bit you can kind of sense that despite Alex’s very hard exterior that she might be a little moved by the fact that Piper wants her to be her first. And then for Alex to ask “are you ready to take the plunge?” and her willingness to “coach her through it” was just so sweet. Alex is a great lover.
But then just when we think we’re going to get a chance to see Piper exploring Alex’s cave of wonders THE FUCKING PHONE RINGS (who would dare be so cruel and call at a time like this) THEN FUCKING SYLVIE (the girlfriend Alex may have forgotten to mention was still living with her). So everything was great up until then. Definitely one of my top favorite Vauseman scenes

Beyoncé just took a bold stand for civil rights in Baltimore
“People are hurting,” Beyoncé wrote Thursday night in an Instagram post of a young man clothed in a black-and-white American flag with “Freddie Gray” written between the stripes. The post also linked to an NAACP donation page with a request to the singer’s 31.1 million followers to join her in supporting relief efforts “to provide housing, food and supplies to those affected by the unrest in Baltimore.“ The Queen has taken a stand for Baltimore. Hopefully, other cultural leaders aren’t far behind.
She didn’t stop there though.

::because their youth is (often) robbed of it’s innocence::
because their sweetness is seen as savage…they are hunted while playing, stunted while growing.
